Psalm 144
1 Von David. Gelobt sei der HERR, mein Fels, der meine Hände geschickt macht zum Streit, meine Finger zum Krieg;
Of David - [be] blessed Yahweh - rock my who trains hands my for war fingers my for battle.
2 meine gnädige und sichere Zuflucht, meine Burg und mein Erretter, mein Schild, der mich schützt, der mir auch mein Volk unterwirft!
Covenant loyalty my and stronghold my refuge my and deliverer my to me shield my and in him I take refuge the [one who] subdues people my under me.
3 HERR, was ist der Mensch, daß du ihn berücksichtigst, des Menschen Sohn, daß du auf ihn achtest?
O Yahweh what? [is] humankind and you have considered him a child of humankind and you have regarded him.
4 Der Mensch gleicht einem Hauch, seine Tage sind wie ein Schatten, der vorüberhuscht!
Humankind to breath he is like days his [are] like a shadow passing.
5 HERR, neige deinen Himmel und fahre herab! Rühre die Berge an, daß sie rauchen!
O Yahweh bend down heavens your so you may come down touch the mountains so they may smoke.
6 Laß blitzen und zerstreue sie, schieße deine Pfeile ab und schrecke sie!
Flash lightning and you will scatter them send arrows your and you will rout them.
7 Strecke deine Hand aus von der Höhe; rette mich und reiße mich heraus aus großen Wassern, aus der Hand der Söhne des fremden Landes,
Stretch out hands your from a high place set free me and deliver me from waters many from [the] hand of sons of foreignness.
8 deren Mund Lügen redet und deren Rechte eine betrügliche Rechte ist.

9 O Gott, ein neues Lied will ich dir singen, auf der zehnsaitigen Harfe will ich dir spielen,
O God a song new I will sing to you with a lyre of ten I will make music to you.
10 der du den Königen Sieg gibst und deinen Knecht David errettest von dem gefährlichen Schwert!
Who gives deliverance to kings who sets free David servant his from a sword evil.
11 Errette mich und reiße mich heraus aus der Hand der Söhne des fremden Landes, deren Mund Lügen redet und deren Rechte eine betrügliche Rechte ist,

12 daß unsre Söhne wie Pflanzen aufwachsen in ihrer Jugend, unsre Töchter wie Ecksäulen seien, gemeißelt nach Bauart eines Palastes;
Who sons our - [will be] like plants full grown in youth their daughters our [will be] like corners carved [the] structure of a palace.
13 unsre Speicher gefüllt, Vorräte darzureichen aller Art; daß unsrer Schafe tausend und abertausend werden auf unsern Weiden;
Granaries our [will be] full providing from kind to kind flocks our [will be] producing thousands producing ten thousands in open places our.
14 daß unsre Rinder trächtig seien, ohne Unfall noch Verlust, daß man nicht zu klagen habe auf unsern Straßen!
Cattle[s] our [will be] loaded there not [will be] a breach and there not [will be] abortion and there not [will be] an outcry in open places our.
15 Wohl dem Volk, dem es also geht; wohl dem Volk, dessen Gott der HERR ist!
How blessed! [is] the people that thus for it how blessed! [is] the people that Yahweh [is] God its.
