4 Mose 30
1 Und Mose redete mit den Obersten der Stämme der Kinder Israel und sprach: Das ist's, was der HERR geboten hat:
And he spak to the princes of the lynagis of the sones of Israel, This is the word, which the Lord comaundide,
2 Wenn ein Mann dem HERRN ein Gelübde tut oder einen Eid schwört, womit er eine Verpflichtung auf seine Seele bindet, so soll er sein Wort nicht brechen; sondern gemäß allem, das aus seinem Munde gegangen ist, soll er tun.
If ony of men makith a vowe to the Lord, ethir byndith hym silf bi an ooth, he schal not make voide his word, but he schal fille al thing which he bihiyte.
3 Wenn ein Weib dem HERRN ein Gelübde tut und sich verpflichtet, solange sie noch eine Jungfrau in ihres Vaters Hause ist,
If a womman which is in the hows of hir fadir, and is yit in the age of a damysel, `that is, not yit weddid, avowith ony thing, ethir byndith hir silf bi an ooth,
4 und ihr Gelübde und ihre Verpflichtung, die sie auf ihre Seele nahm, vor ihren Vater kommt, und er schweigt dazu, so gilt all ihr Gelübde und alle ihre Verpflichtung, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat.
if the fadir knowith the avow, which sche bihiyte, and the ooth bi which sche boond hir soule, and he is stille, sche schal be gilti of the ooth, that is, boundun bi the ooth; what euer thing sche bihiyte and swoor, sche schall fille in werk.
5 Wenn aber ihr Vater an dem Tage, da er es hört, ihr wehrt, so gilt kein Gelübde und keine Verpflichtung, die sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat. Und der HERR wird es ihr vergeben, weil ihr Vater ihr gewehrt hat.

6 Hat sie aber einen Mann und hat ein Gelübde auf sich oder ein unbedachtes Versprechen, das sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat,
If sche hath an hosebonde, and avowith ony thing, and a word goynge out of hir mouth onys byndith hir soule with an ooth,
7 und ihr Mann hört es und schweigt still an dem Tage, da er davon hört, so gilt ihr Gelübde und ihre Verpflichtung, welche sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat.
in what dai the hosebonde herith, and ayenseith not, sche schal be gilti `of avow; sche schal yelde, what euer thing sche bihiyte.
8 Wenn aber ihr Mann ihr wehrt an dem Tage, da er es hört, so macht er damit ihr Gelübde kraftlos, das sie auf sich hat, und das unbedachte Versprechen, das sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat; und der HERR wird es ihr vergeben.
But if the hosebonde herith, and anoon ayenseith, and makith void alle hir biheestis, and wordis bi whiche sche boond hir soule, the Lord schal be merciful to hir.
9 Das Gelübde einer Witwe oder einer Verstoßenen, alles, was sie sich auf die Seele gebunden hat, soll für sie gelten.
A widewe, and a womman forsakun of hir hosebonde, schulen yelde, what euer thing thei avowen.
10 Hat aber eine Frau im Hause ihres Mannes ein Gelübde getan oder sich mit einem Eid etwas auf die Seele gebunden,
Whanne a wijf in `the hous of hir hosebonde byndith hir silf bi a vow and an ooth,
11 und ihr Mann hat es gehört und dazu geschwiegen und ihr nicht gewehrt, so gelten alle ihre Gelübde und alles, was sie auf ihre Seele gebunden hat.
if the hosebonde herith, and is stille and ayenseith not the biheest, sche schal yelde, what euer thing sche bihiyte.
12 Entkräftet es aber ihr Mann an dem Tage, da er es hört, so gilt nichts von dem, was über ihre Lippen gegangen ist, das Gelübde oder die Verpflichtung ihrer Seele; denn ihr Mann hat es entkräftet, und der HERR wird es ihr vergeben.
Sotheli if the hosebonde ayenseide anoon, sche schal not be holdun gilti of biheest, for the hosebonde ayenseide, and the Lord schal be merciful to hir.
13 Alle Gelübde und jeden Verpflichtungseid zur Demütigung der Seele kann ihr Mann bestätigen oder entkräften.
If sche avowith, and byndith hir silf bi an ooth, that sche turmente hir soule bi fastyng, ethir bi abstynence of othere thingis, it schal be in the doom of the hosebonde, that sche do, ether do not.
14 Wenn er aber von einem Tage bis zum andern schweigt, so bekräftigt er ihr ganzes Gelübde und die Verpflichtung, die sie auf sich hat, weil er an dem Tage, da er es gehört, geschwiegen hat.
That if the hosebonde herith, and is stille, and delaieth the sentence in the tother dai, sche schal yelde what euer thing sche avowide and bihiyte, for he was stille, anoon as he herde.
15 Wollte er's aber erst später entkräften, nachdem er es gehört hat, so müßte er ihre Schuld tragen.
Forsothe if the hosebonde ayenseide aftir that he wiste, he schal bere his wickidnesse.
16 Das sind die Rechte, die der HERR Mose geboten hat, eines Mannes gegenüber seinem Weibe und eines Vaters gegenüber seiner Tochter, solange sie noch eine Jungfrau in ihres Vaters Hause ist.
