4 Mose 2

1 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und Aaron und sprach: Die Kinder Israel sollen sich lagern,

And YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 ein jeder bei seinem Panier und bei den Abzeichen ihrer Vaterhäuser; ringsum, der Stiftshütte gegenüber, sollen sie sich lagern.

“The sons of Israel encamp, each by his standard, with ensigns of the house of their fathers; they encamp around, from in sight of the Tent of Meeting.”

3 Gegen Morgen soll sich lagern das Panier des Lagers von Juda, nach seinen Heeren und der Fürst der Kinder Juda, Nahasson, der Sohn Amminadabs;

And those encamping eastward toward the sun-rising [are] of the standard of the camp of Judah, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Judah [is] Nahshon, son of Amminadab;

4 samt seinem Heer und ihren Gemusterten, 74600.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

5 Neben ihm soll sich lagern der Stamm Issaschar; ihr Fürst Netaneel der Sohn Zuars,

And those encamping by him [are] of the tribe of Issachar; and the prince of the sons of Issachar [is] Nethaneel son of Zuar;

6 samt seinem Heer und ihren Gemusterten, 54400.

and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

7 Dazu der Stamm Sebulon; ihr Fürst Eliab, der Sohn Helons,

The tribe of Zebulun [is with them]; and the prince of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon;

8 samt seinem Heer und ihren Gemusterten, 57400.

and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

9 Alle, die zum Lager Judas gezählt werden, sind 186400, nach ihren Heerscharen geordnet; sie sollen voranziehen.

All those numbered of the camp of Judah [are] one hundred thousand and eighty thousand and six thousand and four hundred, by their hosts; they journey first.

10 Gegen Mittag soll liegen das Panier Rubens mit seinem Heer; ihr Fürst Elizur, der Sohn Sedeurs,

The standard of the camp of Reuben [is] southward, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Reuben [is] Elizur son of Shedeur;

11 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 46500.

and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] forty-six thousand and five hundred.

12 Neben ihm soll sich lagern der Stamm Simeon; ihr Fürst Selumiel, der Sohn Zuri-Schaddais,

And those encamping by him [are of] the tribe of Simeon; and the prince of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;

13 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 59300.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

14 Dazu der Stamm Gad; ihr Fürst Eliphas, der Sohn Reguels,

And the tribe of Gad [is with him]; and the prince of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Reuel;

15 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 45650.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

16 Alle, die zum Lager Rubens gezählt werden, sind 151450, nach ihren Heerscharen geordnet. Diese sollen in zweiter Linie ziehen.

All those numbered of the camp of Reuben [are] one hundred thousand and fifty-one thousand and four hundred and fifty, by their hosts; and they journey second.

17 Darnach soll die Stiftshütte ziehen mit den Lagern der Leviten, mitten unter den Lagern; wie sie sich lagern, also sollen sie auch ziehen, ein jeglicher auf seiner Seite, bei seinem Panier.

And the Tent of Meeting has journeyed [with] the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they encamp so they journey, each at his station by their standards.

18 Gegen Abend soll liegen das Panier Ephraims mit seinem Heer; ihr Fürst Elischama, der Sohn Ammihuds,

The standard of the camp of Ephraim, by their hosts, [is] westward; and the prince of the sons of Ephraim [is] Elishama son of Ammihud;

19 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 40500.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.

20 Neben ihm soll sich lagern der Stamm Manasse; ihr Fürst Gamliel, der Sohn Pedazurs;

And by him [is] the tribe of Manasseh; and the prince of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;

21 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 32200.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

22 Dazu der Stamm Benjamin; ihr Fürst Abidan, der Sohn Gideonis,

And the tribe of Benjamin [is with them]; and the prince of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni;

23 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 35400.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

24 Alle, die zum Lager Ephraims gezählt werden, sind 108100, nach ihren Heerscharen geordnet. Diese sollen in dritter Linie ziehen.

All those numbered of the camp of Ephraim [are] one hundred thousand and eight thousand and one hundred, by their hosts; and they journey third.

25 Gegen Mitternacht soll liegen das Panier des Lagers von Dan mit seinem Heer; ihr Fürst Ahieser, der Sohn Ammi-Schaddais,

The standard of the camp of Dan [is] northward, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Dan [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;

26 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 62700.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

27 Neben ihm soll sich lagern der Stamm Asser; ihr Fürst Pagiel, der Sohn Ochrans,

And those encamping by him [are of] the tribe of Asher; and the prince of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran;

28 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 41500.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] forty-one thousand and five hundred.

29 Dazu der Stamm Naphtali, ihr Fürst Ahira, der Sohn Enans,

And the tribe of Naphtali [is with them]; and the prince of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan;

30 samt seinem Heer und seinen Gemusterten, 53400.

and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

31 Alle, die zum Lager Dans gezählt werden, sind 157000. Sie sollen die letzten im Zuge sein mit ihren Panieren.

All those numbered of the camp of Dan [are] one hundred thousand and fifty-seven thousand and six hundred; they journey at the rear by their standards.

32 Das sind die Gemusterten der Kinder Israel, eingeteilt nach ihren Vaterhäusern und ihren Heerlagern, 603550.

These [are] those numbered of the sons of Israel by the house of their fathers; all those numbered of the camps by their hosts [are] six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

33 Aber die Leviten wurden nicht mit den Kindern Israel gemustert, wie der Herr Mose geboten hatte.

And the Levites have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, as YHWH has commanded Moses.

34 Und die Kinder Israel taten alles, wie der HERR Mose geboten hatte; sie lagerten sich nach ihren Panieren, und zogen aus, ein jeder in seinem Geschlecht, bei seinem Vaterhaus.

And the sons of Israel do according to all that YHWH has commanded Moses; so they have encamped by their standards, and so they have journeyed, each by his families, by the house of his fathers.
