4 Mose 11
1 Aber das Volk beklagte sich arg vor den Ohren des HERRN. Als der HERR das hörte, entbrannte sein Zorn, und das Feuer des HERRN brannte unter ihnen und verzehrte das Ende des Lagers.
And it was the people like [those who] complain trouble in [the] ears of Yahweh and he heard Yahweh and it burned anger his and it burned among them [the] fire of Yahweh and it consumed in [the] outskirt[s] of the camp.
2 Da schrie das Volk zu Mose. Und Mose bat den HERRN. Da erlosch das Feuer.
And it cried out the people to Moses and he prayed Moses to Yahweh and it died out the fire.
3 Und man hieß den Ort Tabeera, weil das Feuer des HERRN unter ihnen gebrannt hatte.
And someone called [the] name of the place that Taberah for it had burned among them [the] fire of Yahweh.
4 Und das hergelaufene Gesindel in ihrer Mitte war sehr lüstern geworden, und auch die Kinder Israel fingen wieder an zu weinen und sprachen: Wer will uns Fleisch zu essen geben?
And the rabble which [was] in midst its they craved a craving and they returned and they wept also [the] people of Israel and they said who? will he cause to eat us meat.
5 Wir gedenken der Fische, die wir in Ägypten umsonst aßen, und der Gurken und Melonen, des Lauchs, der Zwiebeln und des Knoblauchs;
We remember the fish which we ate in Egypt for nothing the cucumbers and the watermelons and the leek[s] and the onions and the garlic.
6 nun aber ist unsre Seele matt, unsre Augen sehen nichts als das Manna!
And now appetite our [is] dry there not [is] anything except [are] to the manna eyes our.
7 Aber das Manna war wie Koriandersamen und anzusehen wie Bedellion.
And the manna [was] like seed of coriander it and appearance its [was] like [the] appearance of bdellium.
8 Und das Volk lief hin und her und sammelte und zermalmte es in Mühlen, oder zerstieß es in Mörsern, und kochte es im Topfe und machte Kuchen daraus; und es hatte einen Geschmack wie Ölkuchen.
They went about the people and they gathered and they ground in hand-mill or they pounded in mortar and they boiled in pot and they made it bread cakes and it was taste its like [the] taste of cake of oil.
9 Und wenn des Nachts der Tau über das Lager fiel, so fiel das Manna zugleich darauf herab.
And when came down the dew on the camp night it came down the manna with it.
10 Als nun Mose das Volk weinen hörte, in jeder Familie einen jeden an der Tür seiner Hütte, da entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN sehr, und es mißfiel auch Mose.
And he heard Moses the people weeping to clans its everyone to [the] entrance of tent his and it burned [the] anger of Yahweh exceedingly and in [the] eyes of Moses [it was] displeasing.
11 Und Mose sprach zum HERRN: Warum tust du so übel an deinem Knecht? Und warum finde ich nicht Gnade vor deinen Augen, daß du die Last dieses ganzen Volkes auf mich legst?
And he said Moses to Yahweh why? have you done harm to servant your and why? not have I found favor in view your to put [the] burden of all the people this on me.
12 Habe ich denn dieses ganze Volk empfangen oder geboren, daß du zu mir sagst: Trag es an deinem Busen, wie der Wärter einen Säugling trägt, in das Land, das du ihren Vätern geschworen hast?
¿ I did I conceive all the people this or? I did I give birth to it that you will say to me carry it in bosom your just as he carries foster-father the suckling-child on the land which you swore to ancestors its.
13 Woher soll ich Fleisch nehmen, um es diesem ganzen Volk zu geben? Denn sie weinen vor mir und sprechen: Gib uns Fleisch, daß wir essen!
From where? [belong] to me [will] meat to give [it] to all the people this for they are weeping to me saying give! to us meat so let us eat.
14 Ich kann dieses ganze Volk nicht allein tragen; denn es ist mir zu schwer.
Not I am able I to alone me to carry all the people this for [it is too] heavy for me.
15 Und so du also mit mir tun willst, so töte mich lieber, habe ich anders Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, daß ich mein Unglück nicht mehr ansehen muß!
And if thus - you [are] doing to me kill me please completely if I have found favor in view your and may not I look on distress my.
16 Da sprach der HERR zu Mose: Sammle mir siebzig Männer aus den Ältesten Israels, von denen du weißt, daß sie Älteste des Volkes und seine Vorsteher sind, und nimm sie vor die Stiftshütte, daß sie daselbst bei dir stehen;
And he said Yahweh to Moses gather! to me seventy man from [the] elders of Israel whom you know that they [are] [the] elders of the people and officials its and you will take them to [the] tent of meeting and they will present themselves there with you.
17 so will ich herabkommen und daselbst mit dir reden, und von dem Geiste, der auf dir ist, nehmen und auf sie legen, daß sie samt dir die Last des Volkes tragen, daß du dieselbe nicht allein tragest.
And I will come down and I will speak with you there and I will share some of the spirit which [is] on you and I will put [it] on them and they will carry with you in [the] burden of the people and not you will carry [it] you to alone you.
18 Und du sollst zum Volke sagen: Heiligt euch für morgen, und ihr werdet Fleisch essen; denn euer Weinen ist vor die Ohren des HERRN gekommen, da ihr sprechet: «Wer gibt uns Fleisch zu essen? denn es ging uns wohl in Ägypten.» Darum wird euch der HERR Fleisch zu essen geben;
And to the people you will say sanctify yourselves for tomorrow and you will eat meat for you have wept in [the] ears of Yahweh saying who? will he cause to eat us meat for it was good for us in Egypt and he will give Yahweh to you meat and you will eat.
19 und ihr sollt nicht bloß einen Tag lang essen, nicht zwei, nicht fünf, nicht zehn, nicht zwanzig Tage lang,
Not a day one you will eat! and not two days and not - five days and not ten days and not twenty day[s].
20 sondern einen ganzen Monat lang, bis es euch zur Nase herausgeht und euch zum Ekel wird, darum, daß ihr den HERRN, der mitten unter euch ist, verworfen habt; weil ihr vor ihm geweint und gesagt habt: «Warum sind wir aus Ägypten gezogen?»
Until - a month of days until that it will come out from nose your and it will become for you a loathsome thing because for you have rejected Yahweh who [is] in midst your and you have wept before him saying why? this did we come out from Egypt.
21 Und Mose sprach: Sechshunderttausend Mann Fußvolk sind es, darunter ich bin, und du sprichst: Ich will ihnen Fleisch geben, daß sie einen Monat lang zu essen haben!
And he said Moses [are] six hundred thousand foot soldier[s] the people which I [am] in midst its and you you have said meat I will give to them and they will eat a month of days.
22 Soll man Schafe und Rinder schlachten, daß es für sie genug sei? Oder werden sich alle Fische des Meeres herzusammeln, daß es für sie genug sei?
¿ A flock and a herd will it be slaughtered for them and someone will find for them or? all [the] fish of the sea will it be gathered for them and someone will find for them.
23 Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose: Ist denn die Hand des HERRN verkürzt? Jetzt sollst du sehen, ob mein Wort eintreffen wird vor dir oder nicht!
And he said Yahweh to Moses ¿ [the] hand of Yahweh is it short now you will see ¿ will it happen to you word my or? not.
24 Da ging Mose hin und sagte dem Volke das Wort des HERRN und versammelte siebzig Männer aus den Ältesten des Volkes und stellte sie um die Hütte her.
And he went out Moses and he spoke to the people [the] words of Yahweh and he gathered seventy man from [the] elders of the people and he stationed them around the tent.
25 Da kam der HERR herab in der Wolke und redete mit ihm, und nahm von dem Geiste, der auf ihm war, und legte ihn auf die siebzig Ältesten; und als der Geist auf ihnen ruhte, weissagten sie, aber nicht fortgesetzt.
And he came down Yahweh - in the cloud and he spoke to him and he shared some of the spirit which [was] on him and he put [it] on seventy man the elders and it was when rested on them the spirit and they prophesied and not they repeated.
26 Und im Lager waren noch zwei Männer geblieben; der eine hieß Eldad, der andere Medad, und der Geist ruhte auch auf ihnen. Denn sie waren auch angeschrieben und doch nicht hinausgegangen zu der Hütte; sondern sie weissagten im Lager.
And they had remained two men - in the camp [the] name of the one - [was] Eldad and [the] name of the second [was] Medad and it rested on them the spirit and they among those written and not they had gone out the tent towards and they prophesied in the camp.
27 Da lief ein Knabe hin und sagte es Mose und sprach: Eldad und Medad weissagen im Lager!
And he ran the young man and he told to Moses and he said Eldad and Medad [are] prophesying in the camp.
28 Da antwortete Josua, der Sohn Nuns, der Moses Diener war von seiner Jugend an, und sprach: Mein Herr Mose, wehre ihnen!
And he answered Joshua [the] son of Nun [the] servant of Moses from youth his and he said O lord my Moses restrain them.
29 Aber Mose sprach zu ihm: Eiferst du für mich? Ach, daß doch alles Volk des HERRN weissagte, möchte der HERR seinen Geist über sie geben!
And he said to him Moses ¿ zealous [are] you for me and who? will he give all [the] people of Yahweh [were] prophets that he will put Yahweh spirit his on them.
30 Hierauf begab sich Mose ins Lager, er und die Ältesten Israels.
And he gathered himself Moses to the camp he and [the] elders of Israel.
31 Da fuhr ein Wind aus von dem HERRN und brachte Wachteln vom Meere her und streute sie über das Lager, eine Tagereise weit hier und eine Tagereise weit dort, um das Lager her, bei zwei Ellen hoch über der Erde.
And a wind it set out - from with Yahweh and it brought quails from the sea and it left [them] at the camp about a journey of a day thus and about a journey of a day thus around the camp and about two cubits above [the] surface of the ground.
32 Da machte sich das Volk auf denselben ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht und den ganzen folgenden Tag; und wer am wenigsten sammelte, der sammelte zehn Homer, und sie breiteten sie weithin aus um das ganze Lager her.
And it arose the people all the day that and all the night and all - [the] day of the next day and they gathered the quail the [one who] did little he gathered ten homers and they spread [them] out for themselves completely around the camp.
33 Als aber das Fleisch noch unter ihren Zähnen und noch nicht verzehrt war, da entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN über das Volk, und der HERR schlug sie mit einer großen Plage.
The meat still it [was] between teeth their not yet it was chewed and [the] anger of Yahweh it burned on the people and he struck Yahweh the people a plague great very.
34 Daher hießen sie denselben Ort Lustgräber, weil man daselbst das lüsterne Volk begrub.
And someone called [the] name of the place that Kibroth Hattaavah for there they buried the people who craved.
35 Von den Lustgräbern aber zog das Volk aus und blieb zu Hazerot.
From Kibroth Hattaavah they set out the people Hazeroth and they were at Hazeroth.
