Mica 3
1 Und ich sprach: Höret doch, ihr Häupter von Jakob und ihr Fürsten des Hauses Israel! Ist es nicht an euch, das Recht zu kennen?
And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?
2 Und doch hasset ihr das Gute und liebet das Böse; zieht ihnen die Haut ab und das Fleisch von den Knochen!
But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, and their flesh from their bones.
3 Und wenn sie dann das Fleisch meines Volkes gefressen und ihnen die Haut abgezogen, ihnen die Knochen zerbrochen und sie in Stücke zerschnitten haben, wie man sie in einen Topf tut, und wie Fleisch, das man in den Kessel legt,
And they eate also the flesh of my people, and flay off their skinne from them, and they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 dann schreien sie zum HERRN; aber er antwortet ihnen nicht, sondern verbirgt sein Angesicht vor ihnen zu jener Zeit, weil sie so übelgetan haben.
Then shall they crye vnto the Lord, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
5 So spricht der HERR wider die Propheten, die mein Volk irreführen, die «Friede» rufen, wenn ihre Zähne etwas zu beißen haben, aber dem den heiligen Krieg erklären, der ihnen nichts ins Maul gibt.
Thus saith the Lord, Concerning the prophets that deceiue my people, and bite them with their teeth, and cry peace, but if a man put not into their mouthes, they prepare warre against him,
6 Darum wird Nacht über euch kommen, ohne Gesichte, und Finsternis, daß ihr nicht wahrsagen könnt; und die Sonne wird über den Propheten untergehen und der Tag über ihnen dunkel werden;
Therefore night shalbe vnto you for a vision, and darkenesse shalbe vnto you for a diuination, and the sunne shall goe downe ouer the prophets, and the day shalbe darke ouer them.
7 daß die Seher zuschanden werden und die Wahrsager schamrot dastehen; sie werden alle ihren Bart verhüllen, weil sie ohne göttliche Antwort sind.
Then shall the Seers bee ashamed, and the southsayers confounded: yea, they shall all couer their lippes, for they haue none answere of God.
8 Ich aber bin erfüllt mit Kraft, mit dem Geiste des HERRN, mit Recht und Mut, um Jakob sein Übertreten und Israel seine Sünde anzuzeigen.
Yet notwithstanding I am full of power by the Spirite of the Lord, and of iudgement, and of strength to declare vnto Iaakob his transgression, and to Israel his sinne.
9 Höret doch dieses, ihr Häupter des Hauses Jakob und ihr Fürsten des Hauses Israel, die ihr das Gericht verabscheut und jede gerechte Sache verkehrt;
Heare this, I pray you, ye heades of the house of Iaakob, and princes of the house of Israel: they abhorre iudgement, and peruert all equitie.
10 die ihr Zion mit Blutschulden bauet und Jerusalem mit Frevel!
They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.
11 Ihre Häupter sprechen Recht um Geschenke, ihre Priester lehren um Lohn, und ihre Propheten wahrsagen um Geld; und dabei stützen sie sich auf den HERRN und sagen: «Ist nicht der HERR unter uns? Es kann uns kein Übel begegnen!»
The heads thereof iudge for rewardes, and the Priestes thereof teache for hyre, and the prophets thereof prophecie for money: yet wil they leane vpon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among vs? no euill can come vpon vs.
12 Darum soll um euretwillen Zion wie ein Feld gepflügt und Jerusalem zu einem Steinhaufen werden und der Tempelberg zu einem bewaldeten Hügel!
Therefore shall Zion for your sake bee plowed as a field, and Ierusalem shalbe an heape, and the mountaine of the house, as the hye places of the forest.
