Matthaeus 8
1 Als er aber von dem Berge herabstieg, folgte ihm eine große Volksmenge nach.
When he was come downe from the moutayne moch people folowed him.
2 Und siehe, ein Aussätziger kam, fiel vor ihm nieder und sprach: Herr, wenn du willst, kannst du mich reinigen.
And lo ther came a lepre and worsheped him sayinge: Master if thou wylt thou canst make me clene.
3 Und Jesus streckte die Hand aus, rührte ihn an und sprach: Ich will; sei gereinigt! Und alsbald ward er von seinem Aussatz rein.
And Iesus put forthe hys hond and touched hym sayinge: I wyll be thou clene and immediatly hys leprosie was clensed.
4 Und Jesus spricht zu ihm: Siehe zu, daß du es niemand sagest; sondern gehe hin, zeige dich dem Priester und bringe das Opfer, das Mose befohlen hat, ihnen zum Zeugnis!
And Iesus sayde vnto him. Se thou tell no man but go and shewe thy selfe to the preste and offer the gyfte that Moses comaunded in witnes to them.
5 Als er aber nach Kapernaum kam, trat ein Hauptmann zu ihm, bat ihn
When Iesus was entred into Capernau ther came vnto him a certayne Centurion and besought hym
6 und sprach: Herr, mein Knecht liegt daheim gelähmt darnieder und ist furchtbar geplagt!
sayinge: Master my seruaunt lyeth sicke at home of ye palsye and ys greuously payned.
7 Und Jesus spricht zu ihm: Ich will kommen und ihn heilen.
And Iesus sayd vnto hym: I will come and heale him.
8 Der Hauptmann antwortete und sprach: Herr, ich bin nicht wert, daß du unter mein Dach kommst, sondern sprich nur ein Wort, so wird mein Knecht gesund werden.
The Centurio answered and sayde: Syr I am not worthy yt thou shuldest come vnder my rofe but speake ye worde only and my servaut shalbe healed.
9 Denn auch ich bin ein Mensch, der unter Vorgesetzten steht, und habe Kriegsknechte unter mir; und sage ich zu diesem: Gehe hin! so geht er; und zu einem andern: Komm her! so kommt er; und zu meinem Knechte: Tue das! so tut er's.
For I also my selfe am a man vndre power and have sowdiers vndre me and I saye to one go and he goeth and to anothre come and he cometh: and to my seruaut do this and he doeth it.
10 Als Jesus das hörte, verwunderte er sich und sprach zu denen, die ihm nachfolgten: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, bei niemand in Israel habe ich so großen Glauben gefunden!
When Iesus hearde yt he marveled and sayd to them yt folowed hym. Derely I say vnto you I have not foude so great fayth: no not in Israel.
11 Ich sage euch aber: Viele werden kommen von Morgen und Abend und werden mit Abraham, Isaak und Jakob zu Tische sitzen im Himmelreich;
I say therfore vnto you that many shall come fro the eest and weest and shall rest wt Abraham Isaac and Iacob in the kingdome of heve:
12 aber die Kinder des Reiches werden in die äußerste Finsternis hinausgeworfen werden; dort wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein.
and the chyldren of ye kyngdome shalbe cast out in to vtter darcknes: there shalbe wepinge and gnasshing of tethe.
13 Und Jesus sprach zu dem Hauptmann: Gehe hin, dir geschehe, wie du geglaubt hast! Und sein Knecht ward gesund in derselben Stunde.
The Iesus sayd vnto ye Centurion go thy waye and as thou belevest so be it vnto the. And his servaunt was healed the selfe houre.
14 Und als Jesus in das Haus des Petrus kam, sah er, daß dessen Schwiegermutter darniederlag und das Fieber hatte.
And then Iesus went to Peters housse and sawe hys wyves mother lyinge sicke of a fevre
15 Und er berührte ihre Hand, und das Fieber verließ sie, und sie stand auf und diente ihm.
and touched her hande and the fevre left hir: and she arose and ministred vnto them.
16 Als es aber Abend geworden war, brachten sie viele Besessene zu ihm, und er trieb die Geister aus durchs Wort und heilte alle Kranken;
When the eue was come they brought vn to him many yt were possessed with devyllis. And he cast out ye spirites with a worde and healed all yt were sicke
17 auf daß erfüllt würde, was durch Jesaja gesagt ist, den Propheten, welcher spricht: «Er hat unsere Gebrechen weggenommen und die Krankheiten getragen.»
to fulfill yt which was spoke by Esayas ye Prophet sayinge. He toke on him oure infirmities and bare oure sickneses.
18 ALS aber Jesus die Volksmenge um sich sah, befahl er, ans jenseitige Ufer zu fahren.
Whe Iesus sawe moche people about him he comaunded to go over ye water.
19 Und ein Schriftgelehrter trat herzu und sprach zu ihm: Meister, ich will dir nachfolgen, wohin du auch gehst!
And ther came a scribe and sayd vnto hym: master I wyll folowe ye whyther so ever thou goest.
20 Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Die Füchse haben Gruben, und die Vögel des Himmels haben Nester; aber des Menschen Sohn hat nicht, wo er sein Haupt hinlegen kann.
And Iesus sayd vnto him: the foxes have holes and the bryddes of the ayer have nestes but ye sonne of the man hath not whero to rest his heede.
21 Ein anderer Jünger sprach zu ihm: Herr, erlaube mir, zuvor hinzugehen und meinen Vater zu begraben!
A nothre yt was one of hys disciples sayd vnto hym: master suffre me fyrst to go and burye my father.
22 Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Folge mir nach und laß die Toten ihre Toten begraben!
But Iesus sayd vnto him: folowe me and let the deed burie their deed.
23 Und er trat in das Schiff, und seine Jünger folgten ihm nach.
And he entred in to a shyppe and his disciples folowed him.
24 Und siehe, es erhob sich ein großer Sturm auf dem Meere, so daß das Schiff von den Wellen bedeckt ward; er aber schlief.
And beholde there arose a a greate tepest in ye see in so moche yt the shippe was covered wt waves and he was a slepe.
25 Und seine Jünger traten zu ihm, weckten ihn auf und sprachen: Herr, rette uns, wir kommen um!
And his disciples came vn to him and awoke hym sayinge: master save vs we perishe.
26 Da sprach er zu ihnen: Was seid ihr so furchtsam, ihr Kleingläubigen? Dann stand er auf und bedrohte die Winde und das Meer; und es ward eine große Stille.
And he sayd vnto them: why are ye fearfull o ye of lytell faithe? Then he arose and rebuked ye wyndes and the see and ther folowed a greate calme.
27 Die Menschen aber verwunderten sich und sprachen: Wer ist der, daß ihm auch die Winde und das Meer gehorsam sind?
And the men marveyled and sayd: what man is this that bothe wyndes and see obey hym?
28 Und als er ans jenseitige Ufer in die Landschaft der Gadarener kam, liefen ihm zwei Besessene entgegen, die kamen aus den Gräbern heraus und waren sehr gefährlich, so daß niemand auf jener Straße wandern konnte.
And when he was come to ye other syde in to ye coutre of ye Gergesites ther met him two possessed of devylles which came out of the graves and were out of measure fearce so yt no ma myght go by that waye.
29 Und siehe, sie schrieen und sprachen: Was haben wir mit dir zu schaffen, Jesus, du Sohn Gottes? Bist du hierher gekommen, uns vor der Zeit zu peinigen?
And behold they cryed out sayinge: O Iesu the sonne of God what have we to do with the? Art thou come hyther to tormet vs before the tyme be come?
30 Es war aber fern von ihnen eine große Herde Schweine auf der Weide.
And ther was a good waye of fro them a greate heerd of swyne fedinge.
31 Und die Dämonen baten ihn und sprachen: Wenn du uns austreibst, so sende uns in die Schweineherde!
Then ye devyles besought him sayinge: if thou cast vs out suffre vs to go oure waye in to the heerd of swyne.
32 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Fahret hin! Da fuhren sie aus und fuhren in die Schweine. Und siehe, die ganze Herde stürzte sich den Abhang hinunter ins Meer, und sie kamen im Wasser um.
And he sayd vnto the: go youre wayes. Then wet they out and departed into ye heerd of swyne And beholde ye whoale heerd of swyne was caryed wt violence hedlinge in to the see and perisshed in ye water.
33 Die Hirten aber flohen, gingen in die Stadt und verkündigten alles, auch was mit den Besessenen vorgegangen war.
Then ye heerdme fleed and wet their ways in to ye cyte and tolde every thinge and what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the devyls.
34 Und siehe, die ganze Stadt kam heraus, Jesus entgegen; und als sie ihn sahen, baten sie ihn, von ihren Grenzen zu weichen.
And beholde all the cyte came out and met Iesus. And when they sawe hym they besought hym to departe oute of their costes.
