Matthaeus 21
1 Und als sie sich Jerusalem näherten und nach Bethphage an den Ölberg kamen, sandte Jesus zwei Jünger
And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage (on *N(k)O*) the Mount of Olives, then (*ko*) Jesus sent two disciples
2 und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet in den Flecken, der vor euch liegt, und alsbald werdet ihr eine Eselin angebunden finden und ein Füllen bei ihr, die bindet los und führet sie zu mir!
saying to them; (do go *N(k)O*) into the village which [is] (in front *N(k)O*) of you. and immediately you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her; having untied [them] (do bring [them] *NK(o)*) to Me.
3 Und wenn euch jemand etwas sagt, so sprechet: Der Herr bedarf ihrer; dann wird er sie alsbald senden.
And if anyone to you may say anything, you will say that the Lord of them need has, Immediately then (he will send *NK(o)*) them.
4 Das ist aber geschehen, damit erfüllt würde, was durch den Propheten gesagt ist, der da spricht:
This then (all *k*) has come to pass that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet saying;
5 «Saget der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein König kommt zu dir, sanftmütig und reitend auf einer Eselin und auf einem Füllen, dem Jungen des Lasttiers.»
do say to the daughter of Zion; Behold the King of you comes to you, gentle and already riding on a donkey even (upon *no*) a colt [the] foal of a beast of burden.
6 Die Jünger aber gingen hin und taten, wie Jesus ihnen befohlen hatte,
Having gone then the disciples and having done even as (directed *N(k)O*) to them Jesus,
7 und brachten die Eselin und das Füllen und legten ihre Kleider auf sie und setzten ihn darauf.
they brought the donkey and the colt and put (upon *N(k)O*) them the cloaks (of them *k*) and He sat on them.
8 Aber die meisten unter dem Volk breiteten ihre Kleider auf den Weg; andere hieben Zweige von den Bäumen und streuten sie auf den Weg.
The now very great crowd spread their own cloaks on the road, others now were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading [them] on the road.
9 Und das Volk, das vorausging, und die, welche nachfolgten, schrieen und sprachen: Hosianna dem Sohne Davids! Gelobt sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn! Hosianna in der Höhe!
The now crowds which are going before (Him *no*) and those following they were crying out saying: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed [is] the [One] coming in [the] name of [the] Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
10 Und als er in Jerusalem einzog, kam die ganze Stadt in Bewegung und sprach: Wer ist der?
And when was entering He into Jerusalem was stirred all the city saying; Who is this?
11 Das Volk aber sagte: Das ist Jesus, der Prophet von Nazareth in Galiläa!
And the crowds were saying; This is the prophet Jesus, the [One] from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 Und Jesus ging in den Tempel Gottes hinein und trieb alle hinaus, die im Tempel verkauften und kauften, und stieß die Tische der Wechsler um und die Stühle derer, welche Tauben verkauften.
And entered (*k*) Jesus into the temple (of God *K*) and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple, and the tables of the money changers He overturned and the seats of those selling the doves.
13 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Es steht geschrieben: «Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus heißen!» Ihr aber macht es zu einer Räuberhöhle.
And He says to them; It has been written: The house of Mine a house of prayer will be called,’ You yourselves however it (make *N(k)O*) a den of robbers.’
14 Und es kamen Blinde und Lahme im Tempel zu ihm, und er heilte sie.
And came to Him blind and lame in the temple, and He healed them.
15 Als aber die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten die Wunder sahen, die er tat, und die Kinder hörten, die im Tempel schrieen und sprachen: Hosianna dem Sohne Davids! wurden sie entrüstet
Having seen now the chief priests and the scribes the wonders that He did and the children (who *no*) are crying out in the temple and saying; Hosanna to the Son of David, they were indignant
16 und sprachen zu ihm: Hörst du, was diese sagen? Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ja! Habt ihr noch nie gelesen: «Aus dem Munde der Unmündigen und Säuglinge hast du ein Lob bereitet»?
and said to Him; Hear you what these say? And Jesus says to them; Yes. surely sometime you did read that Out of [the] mouth of babes and sucklings You have prepared for yourself praise’?
17 Und er verließ sie, ging zur Stadt hinaus nach Bethanien und übernachtete daselbst.
And having left them He went out of the city to Bethany and He passed the night there.
18 Da er aber des Morgens früh in die Stadt zurückkehrte, hungerte ihn.
(Early *N(k)O*) then (he is coming back *NK(o)*) into the city He became hungry,
19 Und als er einen einzelnen Feigenbaum am Wege sah, ging er zu ihm hin und fand nichts daran als nur Blätter. Da sprach er zu ihm: Nun komme von dir keine Frucht mehr in Ewigkeit! Und auf der Stelle verdorrte der Feigenbaum. (aiōn g165)
And having seen fig tree one along the road He came to it and no [thing] found on it only except leaves alone And He says to it; (certainly *o*) no more from you fruit there may be to the age. And withered immediately the fig tree. (aiōn g165)
20 Und als die Jünger es sahen, verwunderten sie sich und sprachen: Wie ist der Feigenbaum so plötzlich verdorrt?
And having seen [it] the disciples marveled saying; How so quickly withered the fig tree?
21 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt und nicht zweifelt, so werdet ihr nicht nur tun, was mit dem Feigenbaum geschah, sondern auch, wenn ihr zu diesem Berge sagt: Hebe dich und wirf dich ins Meer! so wird es geschehen.
Answering now Jesus said to them; Amen I say to you; if you shall have faith and not shall doubt, not only the [miracle] of the fig tree will you do, but even if even if to the mountain this you shall say; do be taken away and do be cast into the sea, it will come to pass;
22 Und alles, was ihr gläubig erbittet im Gebet, werdet ihr empfangen.
And all things as much as (maybe *NK(o)*) you shall ask in prayer believing, you will receive.
23 Und als er in den Tempel kam, traten die Hohenpriester und die Ältesten des Volkes zu ihm, während er lehrte, und sprachen: In welcher Vollmacht tust du das, und wer hat dir diese Vollmacht gegeben?
And (when was coming He *N(k)O*) into the temple came to Him teaching the chief priests and the elders of the people saying; By what authority these things are You doing And who to You gave authority this?
24 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Ich will euch auch etwas fragen; wenn ihr mir darauf antwortet, will auch ich euch sagen, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue.
Answering now Jesus said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also thing one, which if you shall tell Me I myself also I myself also to you will say by what authority these things I do.
25 Woher war die Taufe des Johannes? Vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Da überlegten sie bei sich selbst und sprachen: Wenn wir sagen: Vom Himmel, so wird er uns fragen: Warum habt ihr ihm denn nicht geglaubt?
The baptism (*no*) of John from where was it? From heaven or from men? And they were reasoning (among *N(k)O*) themselves saying; If we shall say; From heaven, He will say to us; Because of why then not did you believe in him?
26 Wenn wir aber sagen: Von Menschen, so müssen wir das Volk fürchten, denn alle halten Johannes für einen Propheten.
If however we shall say; From men, we fear the multitude; all for as a prophet hold John.
27 Und sie antworteten Jesus und sprachen: Wir wissen es nicht! Da sprach er zu ihnen: So sage ich euch auch nicht, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue.
And answering Jesus they said; Not do we know. Was saying to them also He himself; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I do.
28 Was dünkt euch aber? Ein Mensch hatte zwei Söhne. Und er ging zu dem ersten und sprach: Sohn, mache dich auf und arbeite heute in meinem Weinberg!
What however you think? A man had sons two, and having come to the first he said; Son, do go today do work in the vineyard (of mine. *k*)
29 Der aber antwortete und sprach: Ich will nicht! Hernach aber reute es ihn, und er ging.
And answering he said; Not I want to; Afterward however having repented he went.
30 Als aber der Vater zu dem andern dasselbe sagte, antwortete dieser und sprach: Ja, Herr! und ging nicht.
(and *k*) Having come (then *no*) to the (other *N(K)O*) he said likewise. And answering he said; I myself [will] sir; and not did he go.
31 Welcher von diesen beiden hat den Willen des Vaters getan? Sie sprachen zu ihm: Der erste. Da spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, die Zöllner und die Huren kommen eher ins Reich Gottes als ihr!
Which of the two did the will of the father? They say (to him: *k*) The (first. *NK(O)*) Says to them Jesus; Amen I say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes go before you into the kingdom of God.
32 Denn Johannes ist zu euch gekommen mit dem Wege der Gerechtigkeit, und ihr glaubtet ihm nicht. Die Zöllner und die Huren aber glaubten ihm; und obwohl ihr es sahet, reute es euch nicht einmal nachträglich, so daß ihr ihm geglaubt hättet.
Came for John to you in [the] way of righteousness, and not you did believe in him; however the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed in him. you yourselves then having seen (not even *N(k)O*) did repent afterward to believe him.
33 Höret ein anderes Gleichnis: Es war ein Hausherr, der pflanzte einen Weinberg, zog einen Zaun darum, grub eine Kelter darin, baute einen Wachtturm, verpachtete ihn an Weingärtner und reiste ab.
Another parable do hear: A man (who *k*) there was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and a fence around it placed and he dug in it a winepress and he built a tower and he rented out it to farmers and he traveled abroad.
34 Als nun die Zeit der Früchte nahte, sandte er seine Knechte zu den Weingärtnern, um seine Früchte in Empfang zu nehmen.
When then drew near the season of the fruits, he sent the servants of him to the farmers to receive the fruits of him.
35 Aber die Weingärtner ergriffen seine Knechte und schlugen den einen, den andern töteten sie, den dritten steinigten sie.
And having taken the farmers the servants of him, the one they beat, another and they killed, another and they stoned.
36 Da sandte er wieder andere Knechte, mehr denn zuvor; und sie behandelten sie ebenso.
Again he sent other servants more than the first, and they did to them likewise.
37 Zuletzt sandte er seinen Sohn zu ihnen und sprach: Sie werden sich vor meinem Sohne scheuen.
Afterward then he sent to them the son of him saying; They will respect the son of mine.
38 Als aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, sprachen sie untereinander: Das ist der Erbe; kommt, laßt uns ihn töten und sein Erbgut behalten!
But the farmers having seen the son said among themselves; This is the heir; come, let us kill him and (let us have *N(k)O*) the inheritance of him.
39 Und sie nahmen ihn, stießen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus und töteten ihn.
And having taking him they cast [him] out of the vineyard and killed [him].
40 Wenn nun der Herr des Weinbergs kommt, was wird er mit diesen Weingärtnern tun?
When therefore may come the master of the vineyard, what will he do farmers to those?
41 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Er wird die Übeltäter übel umbringen und den Weinberg andern Weingärtnern verpachten, welche ihm die Früchte zu ihrer Zeit abliefern werden.
They say to him; [The] wretches grievously He will destroy them and the vineyard he will rent out to other farmers who will give to him the fruits in the seasons of them.
42 Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Habt ihr noch nie gelesen in der Schrift: «Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, ist zum Eckstein geworden. Das ist vom Herrn geschehen, und es ist wunderbar in unsern Augen»?
Says to them Jesus; surely sometime you did read in the Scriptures: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become the chief corner. From [the] Lord was this, and it is marvelous in [the] eyes of us?’
43 Darum sage ich euch: Das Reich Gottes wird von euch genommen und einem Volke gegeben werden, das dessen Früchte bringt.
Because of this I say to you that it will be taken away from you the kingdom of God and it will be given to a people producing the fruits of it.
And the [one] having fallen on stone this will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind to powder him.
45 Und als die Hohenpriester und die Pharisäer seine Gleichnisse hörten, merkten sie, daß er von ihnen redete.
And having heard the chief priests and the Pharisees the parables of Him they knew that about them He speaks.
46 Und sie suchten ihn zu ergreifen, fürchteten aber das Volk, weil es ihn für einen Propheten hielt.
And seeking Him to lay hold of they feared the crowds, (because to *N(k)O*) a prophet Him they were holding.
