3 Mose 21
1 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sage den Priestern, Aarons Söhnen, und sprich zu ihnen: Ein Priester soll sich an keinem Toten seines Volkes verunreinigen,
And the Lord seide to Moyses, Speke thou to preestis, the sones of Aaron, and thou schalt seie to hem, A preest be not defoulid in the deed men of hise citeseyns,
2 außer an seinem nächsten Blutsverwandten, der ihm zugehört; an seiner Mutter, an seinem Vater, an seinem Sohn, an seiner Tochter, an seinem Bruder,
no but oneli in kynesmen and niy of blood, that is, on fadir and modir, and sone and douyter,
3 und an seiner Schwester, die noch eine Jungfrau ist, die ihm nahesteht, weil sie noch keines Mannes Weib gewesen ist, an dieser mag er sich verunreinigen.
and brother and sister, virgyn, which is not weddid to man;
4 Es soll sich der Vorgesetzte an seinem Volk nicht verunreinigen, damit er sich nicht entweihe.
but nether he schal be defoulid in the prince of his puple.
5 Sie sollen sich keine Glatze scheren auf ihrem Haupt, noch die Enden ihres Bartes stutzen, noch an ihrem Leibe Einschnitte machen.
Preestis schulen not schaue the heed, nether beerd, nether thei schulen make keruyngis in her fleischis; thei schulen be hooli to her God,
6 Sie sollen ihrem Gott heilig sein und den Namen ihres Gottes nicht entheiligen; denn sie opfern des HERRN Feueropfer, das Brot ihres Gottes, darum sollen sie heilig sein.
and thei schulen not defoule his name; for thei offren encense of the Lord, and the looues of her God, and therfore thei schulen be hooli.
7 Sie sollen keine Hure zum Weibe nehmen, auch keine Entehrte, noch eine, die von ihrem Mann verstoßen ist; denn der Priester ist heilig seinem Gott.
A preest schal not wedde a wijf a corrupt womman, and a `foul hoore, nether he schal wedde `hir that is forsakun of the hosebonde, for he is halewid to his God,
8 Darum sollst du ihn für heilig halten; denn er opfert das Brot deines Gottes. Er soll dir heilig sein; denn heilig bin ich, der HERR, der euch heiligt.
and offrith the looues of settyng forth; therfor be he hooly, for `Y am the hooli Lord that halewith you.
9 Wenn eines Priesters Tochter sich durch Unzucht entweiht, so hat sie ihren Vater entweiht; man soll sie mit Feuer verbrennen!
If the `doutir of a preest is takun in defoulyng of virgynite, and defoulith the name of hir fadir, sche schal be brent in flawmes.
10 Wer aber Hoherpriester ist unter seinen Brüdern, auf dessen Haupt das Salböl gegossen worden, und dem man die Hand gefüllt hat bei der Einkleidung, der soll sein Haupt nicht entblößen und seine Kleider nicht zerreißen.
The bischop, that is the moost preest among hise britheren, on whose heed the oile of anoyntyng is sched, and whose hondis ben sacrid in preesthod, and he is clothid in hooli clothis, schal not diskyuere his heed, he schal not tere hise clothis,
11 Er soll auch zu keinem Toten kommen und soll sich weder an seinem Vater noch an seiner Mutter verunreinigen.
and outirli he schal not entre to ony deed man; and he schal not be defoulid on his fadir and modir,
12 Er soll das Heiligtum nicht verlassen, noch das Heiligtum seines Gottes entheiligen; denn die Weihe des Salböls seines Gottes ist auf ihm; ich bin der HERR.
nether he schal go out of hooli thingis, lest he defoule the seyntuarie of the Lord, for the oile of hooli anoyntyng of his God is on hym; Y am the Lord.
13 Er soll eine Jungfrau zum Weibe nehmen.
He schal wedde a wijf virgyn;
14 Eine Witwe, oder eine Verstoßene, oder eine Entehrte, oder eine Hure soll er nicht nehmen; sondern eine Jungfrau aus seinem Volk soll er zum Weibe nehmen,
he schal not take a widewe, and forsakun, and a foul womman, and hoore, but a damesele of his puple;
15 daß er seinen Samen nicht entweihe unter seinem Volk. Denn ich, der HERR, heilige ihn.
medle he not the generacioun of his kyn to the comyn puple of his folk, for Y am the Lord, that `halewe hym.
16 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spak to Moyses,
17 Rede mit Aaron und sprich: Sollte jemand von deinen Nachkommen in ihren künftigen Geschlechtern mit irgend einem Gebrechen behaftet sein, so darf er sich nicht herzunahen, das Brot seines Gottes darzubringen.
and seide, Speke thou to Aaron; a man of thi seed, bi meynes, that hath a wem, schal not offre breed to his God,
18 Nein, keiner, an dem ein Gebrechen ist, soll sich herzunahen, er sei blind oder lahm oder verstümmelt, oder habe ein zu langes Glied;
nethir schal neiy to his seruyce;
19 auch keiner, der einen gebrochenen Fuß oder eine gebrochene Hand hat,
if he is blind; if he is crokid; if he is ether of litil, ether of greet, and wrong nose; if he is `of brokun foot, ethir hond;
20 oder der bucklig oder schwindsüchtig ist, oder der einen Fleck auf seinem Auge hat, oder die Krätze oder Flechten oder einen Hodenbruch.
if he hath a botche; ether if he is blereiyed; if he hath whijt colour in the iye, that lettith the siyt; if he hath contynuel scabbe; if he hath a drye scabbe in the bodi; ethir `is brokun `in the pryuy membris.
21 Wer nun von dem Samen Aarons, des Priesters, ein solches Gebrechen an sich hat, der soll sich nicht herzunahen, die Feueropfer des HERRN darzubringen; er hat ein Gebrechen; darum soll er das Brot seines Gottes nicht herzubringen, daß er es opfere.
Ech man of the seed of Aaron preest, which man hath a wem, schal not neiye to offre sacrifices to the Lord, nether `to offre looues to his God;
22 Doch darf er das Brot seines Gottes essen, vom Heiligen und vom Allerheiligsten.
netheles he schal ete the looues that ben offrid in the seyntuarie,
23 Aber zum Vorhang soll er nicht kommen, noch sich dem Altar nahen, weil er ein Gebrechen hat, daß er mein Heiligtum nicht entweihe; denn ich, der HERR, heilige sie.
so oneli that he entre not with ynne the veil; he schal not neiye to the auter, for he hath a wem, and he schal not defoule my seyntuarie; Y am the Lord that halewe hem.
24 Und Mose sagte es Aaron und seinen Söhnen und allen Kindern Israel.
Therfor Moises spak to Aaron, and to hise sones, and to al Israel, alle thingis that weren comaundid to hym.
