Jeremia 5
1 Streifet durch die Gassen Jerusalems und sehet doch nach und erkundigt euch und forschet nach auf ihren Plätzen, ob ihr einen Mann findet, ob einer da sei, der Recht übt und sich der Wahrhaftigkeit befleißigt; so will ich ihr vergeben! Aber wenn sie auch sagen:
Rove about in [the] streets of Jerusalem and see please and observe and search in open places its if you will find a person if there [is one who] does justice [one who] seeks faithfulness so I may forgive it.
2 «So wahr der HERR lebt!» so schwören sie dennoch falsch.
And though [by] [the] life of Yahweh people say therefore to falsehood they are swearing oaths.
3 HERR, sehen deine Augen nicht auf Wahrhaftigkeit? Du hast sie geschlagen, aber es tat ihnen nicht weh; du hast sie fast aufgerieben, aber sie wollten keine Zucht annehmen; sie machten ihr Angesicht härter als Fels, sie wollten nicht umkehren!
O Yahweh [are] eyes your ¿ not to faithfulness you struck them and not they writhed you brought to an end them they refused to accept correction they made strong faces their more than rock they refused to return.
4 Ich aber dachte: Nur die Geringen sind so; sie benehmen sich so töricht, weil sie den Weg des HERRN, das Recht ihres Gottes nicht kennen.
And I I said only [are] poor [people] they they have acted foolishly for not they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their.
5 Ich will doch zu den Großen gehen und mit ihnen reden; denn sie kennen den Weg des HERRN, das Recht ihres Gottes! Aber sie hatten allesamt das Joch zerbrochen, die Bande zerrissen.
I will go for myself to the great and I will speak them for they they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their nevertheless they alike they had broken off a yoke they had torn off fetters.
6 Darum schlägt sie der Löwe aus dem Wald, überfällt sie der Steppenwolf; der Pardel lauert an ihren Städten, so daß, wer sie verläßt, zerrissen wird; denn ihrer Übertretungen sind viele, und groß sind ihre Abweichungen!
There-fore it will attack them a lion from a forest a wolf of desert plains it will devastate them a leopard [will be] watching over cities their every [one who] goes out from them he will be torn in pieces for they are many transgressions their they are numerous (apostasies their. *Q(k)*)
7 Wie wollte ich dir solches vergeben? Deine Kinder haben mich verlassen und bei Nichtgöttern geschworen; und nachdem ich sie gesättigt hatte, brachen sie die Ehe und drängten sich scharenweise ins Hurenhaus!
Where? for this (will I forgive *Q(k)*) you children your they have forsaken me and they have sworn by not gods and I satisfied them and they committed adultery and [the] house of a prostitute they cut themselves.
8 Wie brünstige Hengste schweifen sie umher; jeder wiehert nach seines nächsten Eheweib.
Horses well fed lustful they are everyone to [the] wife of neighbor his they neigh.
9 Sollte ich solches ungestraft lassen, spricht der HERR, und sollte sich meine Seele an einem solchen Volke nicht rächen?
¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh and or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
10 Besteiget ihre Mauern und verderbet, aber den Garaus machet nicht! Schneidet ihre Schosse ab; denn dem HERRN gehören sie nicht!
Go up among vine rows its and destroy [them] and complete destruction may not you make remove vine tendrils its for not [belong] to Yahweh they.
11 Denn gar treulos haben das Haus Israel und das Haus Juda an mir gehandelt, spricht der HERR.
For certainly they have dealt treacherously with me [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] utterance of Yahweh.
12 Sie haben den HERRN verleugnet und gesagt: Nicht Er ist's! Kein Unglück wird über uns kommen; weder Schwert noch Hungersnot werden wir zu sehen bekommen!
They have denied Yahweh and they have said not he and not it will come on us harm and sword and famine not we will see.
13 Und die Propheten sind nur Windbeutel, und niemand redet durch sie; ihnen selbst ergehe es so!
And the prophets they will become wind and the word not [is] in them thus let it be done to them.
14 Darum spricht der HERR, der Gott der Heerscharen: Weil ihr das gesagt habt, siehe, so will ich meine Worte in deinem Munde zu einem Feuer und dieses Volk zu Holz machen, daß es sie verzehren soll.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of hosts because have spoken you the word this here I [am] about to make words my in mouth your into a fire and the people this wood and it will consume them.
15 Siehe, ich bringe über euch, du Haus Israel, ein Volk von ferne her (spricht der HERR), ein zähes Volk, ein uraltes Volk, ein Volk, dessen Sprache du nicht kennst und dessen Rede du nicht verstehst.
Here I [am] about to bring on you a nation from a distance O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [is] a nation - enduring it [is] a nation from long ago it a nation [which] not you know language its and not you hear what? does it say.
16 Sein Köcher ist wie ein offenes Grab; und aus lauter Helden besteht es.
Quiver its [is] like a grave open all of them [are] warriors.
17 Es wird deine Ernte und dein Brot verzehren, deine Söhne und deine Töchter, deine Schafe und deine Rinder fressen; es wird deinen Weinstock und deinen Feigenbaum abfressen; und deine festen Städte, darauf du dich verlässest, wird es mit dem Schwerte erobern.
And it will devour harvest your and food your they will devour sons your and daughters your it will devour flock[s] your and herd[s] your it will devour vine[s] your and fig tree[s] your it will shatter [the] cities of fortifications your which you [are] trusting in them with the sword.
18 Aber auch in jenen Tagen, spricht der HERR, will ich euch nicht den Garaus machen.
And also in the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh not I will make with you complete destruction.
19 Und wenn es dann geschieht, daß ihr fragt: «Weshalb hat der HERR, unser Gott, uns das alles angetan?» so sollst du ihnen antworten: «Gleichwie ihr mich verlassen und in eurem Lande fremden Göttern gedient habt, so müßt ihr auch jetzt Fremden dienen in einem Lande, das nicht euch gehört!»
And it will be that you will say for what? did he do Yahweh God our to us all these [things] and you will say to them just as you forsook me and you served gods of foreignness in own land your so you will serve strangers in a land [which] not [belongs] to you.
20 Verkündiget solches im Hause Jakob und laßt es hören in Juda und sprechet:
Declare this in [the] house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah saying.
21 «Höre doch dies, du törichtes, unverständiges Volk, die ihr Augen habt und doch nicht seht, die ihr Ohren habt und doch nicht hört!»
Hear please this O people fool and there not [is] a heart eyes [belong] to them and not they see ears [belong] to them and not they hear.
22 Mich wollt ihr nicht fürchten, spricht der HERR, vor mir nicht erzittern, der ich dem Meere den Sand zur Grenze gesetzt habe, zur ewigen Schranke, die es nicht überschreiten darf? Wenn sich seine Wogen auch dagegen auflehnen, so sind sie doch machtlos; wenn auch seine Wellen toben, können sie dieselben nicht überschreiten.
¿ Me not do you fear [the] utterance of Yahweh or? from before me not do you tremble who I appointed [the] sand a boundary for the sea a decree of perpetuity and not it will pass over it and they shook back and forth and not they will prevail and they roar waves its and not they will pass over it.
23 Aber dieses Volk hat ein halsstarriges, aufrührerisches Herz; sie haben sich abgewandt und sind davongelaufen
And to the people this it belongs a heart stubborn and rebellious they have turned aside and they have gone away.
24 und haben in ihrem Herzen nicht gedacht: Wir wollen doch den HERRN, unsern Gott, fürchten, der den Regen gibt, Früh und Spätregen zu seiner Zeit, der die bestimmten Wochen der Ernte für uns einhält.
And not they said in heart their let us fear please Yahweh God our who gives rain (autumn rain *Q(K)*) and spring rain at appropriate time its [the] weeks of [the] appointments of harvest he keeps for us.
25 Eure Missetaten haben diese Dinge abgelenkt, und eure Sünden haben den Segen von euch zurückgehalten.
Iniquities your they have turned aside these [things] and sins your they have withheld good from you.
26 Denn unter meinem Volke finden sich Gottlose; sie liegen auf der Lauer, ducken sich wie Vogelsteller; sie stellen Fallen, um Menschen zu fangen.
For they are found among people my wicked [people] he watches as bend fowlers they set a destroyer people they catch.
27 Wie ein Käfig voller Vögel geworden ist, so haben sich ihre Häuser mit Betrug gefüllt; auf solche Weise sind sie groß und reich geworden!
Like a cage full bird[s] so houses their [are] full deceit there-fore they have become great and they have gained riches.
28 Sie glänzen vor Fett; auch fließen sie über von bösen Reden. Für das Recht sorgen sie nicht, für das Recht der Waisen, um ihnen zum Siege zu verhelfen, und die Rechtssache der Armen führen sie nicht.
They have become fat they have become smooth also they have transgressed matters of evil a cause not they have pleaded [the] cause of [the] fatherless so they may have success and [the] justice of needy [people] not they have judged.
29 Sollte ich solches ungestraft lassen? spricht der HERR. Sollte sich meine Seele an einem solchen Volke nicht rächen?
¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
30 Entsetzliches und Abscheuliches geschieht im Lande:
An atrocious event and a horrible [thing] it has occurred in the land.
31 Die Propheten weissagen falsch, und die Priester herrschen mit ihrer Unterstützung; und mein Volk liebt es so! Was wollt ihr aber tun, wenn das Ende davon kommt?
The prophets they have prophesied with falsehood and the priests they are ruling on hands their and people my they have loved thus and what? will you do to end its.
