Jesaja 65
1 Ich wäre zu erfragen gewesen für die, so nicht nach mir fragten; ich wäre zu finden gewesen für die, so mich nicht suchten; ich habe gesagt: «Siehe, hier bin ich, siehe, hier bin ich!» zu einem Volk, das meinen Namen nicht anrief.
“I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. To a nation that did not call My name, I said, ‘Here I am! Here I am!’
2 Ich habe meine Hände den ganzen Tag ausgestreckt nach einem widerspenstigen Volk, das seinen eigenen Gedanken nachgeht auf einem Wege, der nicht gut ist!
All day long I have held out My hands to an obstinate people who walk in the wrong path, who follow their own imaginations,
3 Es ist ein Volk, das mich beständig ins Angesicht beleidigt, indem es in den Gärten opfert und auf Ziegelsteinen räuchert,
to a people who continually provoke Me to My face, sacrificing in the gardens and burning incense on altars of brick,
4 in Gräbern wohnt und in Höhlen übernachtet, Schweinefleisch ißt und unreine Bissen in seinen Schüsseln hat.
sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs and polluted broth from their bowls.
5 Dabei können sie noch sagen: «Bleibe für dich, rühre mich nicht an; denn ich bin heiliger als du!» Solche sind ein Rauch in meiner Nase, ein Feuer, das den ganzen Tag brennt!
They say, ‘Keep to yourself; do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’ Such people are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day long.
6 Siehe, vor mir steht geschrieben: Ich will nicht schweigen, sondern vergelten!
Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will pay it back into their laps,
7 Und ich werde in ihren Busen vergelten eure Schulden und die Schulden eurer Väter zugleich, spricht der HERR, weil sie auf den Bergen geräuchert und auf den Höhen mich gelästert haben; darum will ich ihnen zuerst ihren verdienten Lohn zumessen in ihren Busen.
both for your iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains and scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps full payment for their former deeds.”
8 So spricht der HERR: Wie wenn sich noch Saft in einer Traube findet, und man dann sagt: «Verdirb es nicht; es ist ein Segen drin!» so will auch ich tun um meiner Knechte willen, daß ich nicht das Ganze verderbe.
This is what the LORD says: “As the new wine is found in a cluster of grapes, and men say, ‘Do not destroy it, for it contains a blessing,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants; I will not destroy them all.
9 Ich will aus Jakob einen Samen hervorgehen lassen und aus Juda einen Erben meiner Berge; meine Auserwählten sollen es [das Land] besitzen, und meine Knechte werden daselbst wohnen.
And I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and heirs from Judah; My elect will possess My mountains, and My servants will dwell there.
10 Saron soll zu einer Schafhürde und das Tal Achor zu einer Lagerstätte für das Vieh werden, für mein Volk, das mich gesucht hat.
Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.
11 Ihr aber, die ihr den HERRN verlasset, die ihr meines heiligen Berges vergesset, die ihr dem «Glück» einen Tisch zurüstet und dem «Verhängnis» zu Ehren einen Trank einschenket;
But you who forsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,
12 über euch will ich das Schwert verhängen, daß ihr alle zur Schlachtung hinknien müßt! Denn als ich rief, antwortetet ihr nicht; als ich redete, wolltet ihr nicht hören; sondern ihr tatet, was in meinen Augen böse ist, und erwähltet, was mir nicht gefiel.
I will destine you for the sword, and you will all kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen; you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”
13 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Siehe, meine Knechte sollen essen, ihr aber sollt hungern; siehe, meine Knechte sollen trinken, ihr aber sollt dürsten; siehe, meine Knechte sollen vor gutem Mut jauchzen, ihr aber sollt euch schämen;
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.
14 siehe, meine Knechte sollen vor Freude des Herzens frohlocken, ihr aber sollt vor Herzeleid schreien und vor gebrochenem Mut heulen;
My servants will shout for joy with a glad heart, but you will cry out with a heavy heart and wail with a broken spirit.
15 und ihr müßt euren Namen meinen Auserwählten zum Fluchwort hinterlassen; denn Gott, der HERR, wird dich töten; seine Knechte aber wird er mit einem andern Namen benennen,
You will leave behind your name as a curse for My chosen ones, and the Lord GOD will slay you; but to His servants He will give another name.
16 so daß, wer sich im Lande segnen will, sich bei dem wahrhaftigen Gott segnen, und wer im Lande schwören will, bei dem wahrhaftigen Gott schwören wird; denn man wird der früheren Nöte vergessen, und sie werden vor meinen Augen verborgen sein.
Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth, and whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My sight.
17 Denn siehe, ich schaffe einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde, also daß man der frühern nicht mehr gedenkt und sie niemand mehr in den Sinn kommen werden;
For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
18 sondern ihr sollt euch freuen und frohlocken bis in Ewigkeit über dem, was ich erschaffe; denn siehe, ich verwandle Jerusalem in lauter Jubel und ihr Volk in Freude.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight.
19 Und ich selbst werde über Jerusalem frohlocken und mich über mein Volk freuen, und es soll fortan kein Klagelaut und kein Wehgeschrei mehr darin vernommen werden.
I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her.
20 Es soll dann nicht mehr Kinder geben, die nur ein paar Tage leben, noch Alte, die ihre Jahre nicht erfüllen; sondern wer hundertjährig stirbt, wird noch als Jüngling gelten, und der Sünder wird als Hundertjähriger verflucht werden.
No longer will a nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.
21 Sie werden Häuser bauen und dieselben bewohnen, Weinberge pflanzen und deren Früchte genießen.
They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 Sie werden nicht bauen, daß es ein anderer bewohne, und nicht pflanzen, daß es ein anderer esse; denn gleich dem Alter der Bäume wird das Alter meines Volkes sein, und was ihre Hände erarbeitet haben, werden meine Auserwählten auch verbrauchen.
No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.
23 Sie werden nicht umsonst arbeiten, noch ihre Kinder durch ein Unglück verlieren; denn sie sind ein gesegneter Same des HERRN und ihre Sprößlinge mit ihnen.
They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD— they and their descendants with them.
24 Und es soll geschehen, ehe sie rufen, will ich antworten, wenn sie noch reden, will ich sie erhören!
Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
25 Wolf und Lamm werden einträchtig weiden, der Löwe wird Stroh fressen wie das Rind, und die Schlange wird sich mit Staub begnügen. Sie werden nicht schaden noch verderben auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge, spricht der HERR.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain,”
