Jesaja 32
1 Siehe, ein König wird in Gerechtigkeit regieren, und Fürsten werden nach dem Rechte herrschen;
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and as for princes, they shall rule in justice.
2 daß jeder sein wird wie ein Bergungsort vor dem Wind und wie ein Schirm wider das Ungewitter, wie Wasserbäche am dürren Ort, wie der Schatten eines mächtigen Felsens in einem ermüdenden Lande.
And a man shall be as in a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as by the watercourses in a dry place, as in the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
3 Die Augen der Sehenden werden nicht mehr geblendet sein, und die Ohren der Hörenden werden aufmerken;
And the eyes of them that see shall not be closed, and the ears of them that hear shall attend.
4 das Herz der Unbesonnenen wird Klugheit lernen, und die Zunge der Stotternden wird geläufig und verständlich reden.
The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5 Ein gemeiner Mensch wird alsdann nicht mehr edel und ein Betrüger nicht mehr großmütig genannt werden.
The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be noble.
6 Denn ein gemeiner Mensch redet Gemeinheit, und sein Herz bereitet Böses vor, daß er ruchlos handle und Irrlehren ausspreche über den HERRN, daß er die hungrige Seele aushungere und den Durstigen das Trinken wehre.
For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise ungodliness, and to utter wickedness against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7 Und der Betrüger wendet schlimme Mittel an; er gibt schändlichen Rat, daß er die Elenden vernichte mit erlogenen Reden, auch wenn der Arme sein Recht beweist.
The instruments also of the churl are evil; he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, and the needy when he speaketh right.
8 Aber der Edle gibt edlen Rat, und er steht auch zu dem, was edel ist.
But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
9 Kommt, ihr sichern Weiber, höret meine Stimme! Ihr sorglosen Töchter, vernehmet meine Rede!
Rise up, ye women that are at ease, and hear my voice; ye confident daughters, give ear unto my speech.
10 Über Jahr und Tag werdet ihr erschrecken, o ihr Sorglosen! Denn aus ist's mit der Weinlese, und die Obsternte wird nicht kommen.
After a year and days shall ye be troubled, ye confident women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
11 Erschrecket, o ihr Sichern, und erzittert, o ihr Sorglosen! Entblößung, Nacktheit und Umgürtung der Lenden warten euer!
Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye confident ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins,
12 Sie werden sich an die Brust schlagen wegen des lieblichen Feldes, wegen der fruchtbaren Weingärten;
Smiting upon the breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine;
13 wegen der Äcker meines Volkes, daß sie in Dornen und Disteln aufgehen, ja, wegen all der wonnigen Häuser in der fröhlichen Stadt!
For the land of my people whereon thorns and briers come up; yea, for all the houses of joy and the joyous city.
14 Denn der Palast wird verlassen und die lärmende Stadt unbewohnt sein, Hügel und Wartturm sollen zu Höhlen werden für immer, eine Lust des Wildes, eine Weide der Herden;
For the palace shall be forsaken; the city with its stir shall be deserted; the mound and the tower shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
15 solange, bis der Geist aus der Höhe über uns ausgegossen wird. Alsdann wird die Wüste zum Baumgarten und der Baumgarten für einen Wald gerechnet werden.
Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16 Und es wird das Recht in der Wüste und die Gerechtigkeit im Baumgarten wohnen;
Then justice shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness shall abide in the fruitful field.
17 und der Gerechtigkeit Wirkung wird Friede sein und der Gerechtigkeit Nutzen Ruhe und Sicherheit ewiglich.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and confidence for ever.
18 Und mein Volk wird in Häusern des Friedens wohnen, in sichern Wohnungen und in stolzer Ruhe.
And my people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
19 Aber hageln muß es zuvor, daß der Wald zusammenbricht und die Stadt tief erniedrigt wird.
And it shall hail, in the downfall of the forest; but the city shall descend into the valley.
20 Wohl euch, die ihr an allen Wassern säet und den Fuß eurer Ochsen und Esel frei umherschweifen lasset!
Happy are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth freely the feet of the ox and the ass.
