Hosea 1
1 Dies ist das Wort des HERRN, welches an Hosea, den Sohn Beeris erging, in den Tagen Ussijas, Jotams, Ahas und Hiskias, der Könige von Juda, und in den Tagen Jerobeams, des Sohnes des Joas, des Königs von Israel.
The word of Yahweh which came unto Hosea son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, —and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 Im Anfang, da der HERR durch Hosea zu reden begann, sprach der HERR zu ihm: Geh, nimm dir ein Hurenweib und Hurenkinder; denn das Land ist dem HERRN untreu geworden und treibt Hurerei!
The beginning of the word of Yahweh with Hosea, was, —that Yahweh said unto Hosea, Go take thee a woman of unchastity, and the children of unchastity, for, unchastely indeed, hath the land been going away from following Yahweh.
3 Da ging Hosea hin und nahm Gomer, die Tochter Diblaims; und sie empfing und gebar einen Sohn.
So he went and took Gomer, daughter of Diblaim, —and she conceived and bare him a son.
4 Der HERR aber sprach zu ihm: Nenne ihn Jesreel; denn in kurzem werde ich das zu Jesreel vergossene Blut am Hause Jehus rächen und dem Königtum des Hauses Israel ein Ende machen.
Then said Yahweh unto him, Call his name Jezreel: for, yet a little, and I will visit the bloodshed of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5 An jenem Tage will ich den Bogen Israels im Tale Jesreel zerbrechen.
And it shall come to pass, in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the vale of Jezreel.
6 Und als sie wiederum empfing und eine Tochter gebar, sprach er zu ihm: Nenne sie Lo-Ruchama; denn ich werde mich des Hauses Israel fortan nicht mehr erbarmen, daß ich ihnen vergäbe!
Then conceived she again and bare a daughter, and he said to him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah ["Uncompassionated"], —for, not again any more, will I have compassion upon the house of Israel, that I should, forgive, them;
7 Dagegen will ich mich des Hauses Juda erbarmen und sie retten durch den HERRN, ihren Gott, und nicht durch Bogen, Schwert und Kampf, nicht durch Rosse noch Reiter.
but, on the house of Judah, will I have compassion, and I will save them, as Yahweh their God, —but will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, by horses, or by horsemen.
8 Als sie nun Lo-Ruchama entwöhnt hatte, empfing sie wieder und gebar einen Sohn.
And, when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9 Da sprach er: Nenne ihn Lo-Ammi; denn ihr seid nicht mein Volk, und ich bin nicht der Eurige!
Then said he, Call his name Lo-ammi ["No people of mine"], —for ye are Lo-ammi ["No people of mine"], and, I, will not be yours.
10 Es wird aber die Zahl der Kinder Israel werden wie der Sand am Meer, der nicht zu messen noch zu zählen ist; und es soll geschehen, an dem Ort, da zu ihnen gesagt worden ist: «Ihr seid nicht mein Volk», sollen sie Kinder des lebendigen Gottes genannt werden.
Yet shall the number of the sons of Israel become like the sand of the sea, which can neither he measured, nor numbered, —and it shall come to pass, in the place where it used to be said to them, No people of mine, are ye, it shall be said to them, Sons of a Living God!
11 Alsdann werden die Kinder Juda und die Kinder Israel sich einmütig versammeln und über sich ein einziges Oberhaupt setzen und werden aus dem Lande heraufziehen; denn groß wird sein der Tag von Jesreel.
Then shall the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel, gather themselves together, as one, and shall appoint them one head, and come up out of the earth, —for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
