Hosea 3

1 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Geh nochmals hin und liebe ein Weib, das von einem Freunde geliebt wird und im Ehebruch lebt, gleichwie der HERR die Kinder Israel liebt, wiewohl sie sich andern Göttern zuwenden und Traubenkuchen lieben!

Then said the Lord to me, Goe yet, and loue a woman (beloued of her husband, and was an harlot) according to the loue of the Lord toward the children of Israel: yet they looked to other gods, and loued the wine bottels.

2 Da erkaufte ich sie mir um fünfzehn Silberlinge und um ein Chomer und ein Letech Gerste.

So I bought her to me for fifteene pieces of siluer, and for an homer of barlie and an halfe homer of barlie.

3 Und ich sprach zu ihr: «Du sollst mir viele Tage bleiben und nicht buhlen und keines andern Mannes werden; ebenso will auch ich mich verhalten gegen dich!»

And I said vnto her, Thou shalt abide with me many dayes: thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt be to none other man, and I will be so vnto thee.

4 Denn die Kinder Israel werden viele Tage ohne König bleiben und ohne Fürsten, auch ohne Opfer, ohne Bildsäule, ohne priesterliches Schulterkleid und ohne Hausgötzen.

For the children of Israel shall remaine many dayes without a King and without a prince, and without an offering, and without an image, and without an Ephod and without Teraphim.

5 Darnach werden die Kinder Israel umkehren und den HERRN, ihren Gott, und David, ihren König, suchen und werden sich bebend zu dem HERRN und zu seiner Güte flüchten am Ende der Tage.

Afterward shall the children of Israel conuert, and seeke the Lord their God, and Dauid their King, and shall feare the Lord, and his goodnes in the latter dayes.
