Hosea 14
1 Kehre um, o Israel, zu dem HERRN, deinem Gott! Denn du bist gefallen durch deine eigene Schuld.
Return! O Israel to Yahweh God your for you have stumbled on iniquity your.
2 Nehmet Worte mit euch und kehret um zum HERRN! Sprechet: «Vergib alle Schuld und nimm es gut auf, daß wir dir als Dankopfer die Farren unserer Lippen bringen!
Take with you words and return to Yahweh say to him every you will forgive iniquity and take good thing[s] so let us pay bulls lips our.
3 Assur soll uns nicht mehr helfen; wir wollen nicht mehr auf Rossen reiten und das Werk unserer Hände nicht mehr unsere Götter nennen, denn bei dir findet das Waislein Barmherzigkeit!»

4 Ich will ihre Abtrünnigkeit heilen, gerne will ich sie lieben; denn mein Zorn hat sich von ihnen abgewandt!

5 Ich will für Israel sein wie der Tau; es soll blühen wie eine Lilie und Wurzel schlagen wie der Libanon.
I will be like the dew to Israel it will blossom like lily and it may strike roots its like Lebanon.
6 Seine Schößlinge sollen sich ausbreiten; es soll so schön werden wie ein Ölbaum und so guten Geruch geben wie der Libanon.
They will go young shoots its and it may be like olive tree splendor its and fragrance of it like Lebanon.
7 Die unter seinem Schatten wohnen, werden wieder aufleben wie das Getreide und blühen wie der Weinstock und so berühmt werden wie der Wein vom Libanon.
They will return [those who] dwell in shade its they will cause to grow grain so they may blossom like vine memorial its [will be] like [the] wine of Lebanon.
8 Ephraim [sagt: ] Was sollen mir weiter die Götzen? Ich, ich will ihn erhören und zu ihm sehen. Ich, ich bin wie eine grünende Zypresse; es soll sich zeigen, daß deine Frucht von mir kommt!
O Ephraim what? to me again to idols I I will answer and I will watch over it I [am] like a cypress tree luxuriant from me fruit your it is found.
9 Wer ist so weise, daß er das einsehe, und so klug, daß er das verstehe? Die Wege des HERRN sind richtig, und die Gerechten wandeln darauf; aber die Übertreter kommen auf ihnen zu Fall.
Who? [is] wise and let him understand these [things] discerning? and let him know them for [are] upright [the] ways of Yahweh and righteous [people] they walk in them and transgressors they stumble in them.
