Habakuk 1
1 Die Last, welche der Prophet Habakuk geschaut hat:
The oracle which he saw Habakkuk the prophet.
2 Wie lange, o HERR, soll ich zu dir schreien, ohne daß du hörst, dir Unrecht klagen, ohne daß du hilfst?
Until when? O Yahweh have I cried for help and not you will hear I cry out to you violence and not you save.
3 Warum lässest du mich Elend sehen und schaust dem Jammer zu? Gewalttat und Frevel werden vor meinen Augen begangen, es entsteht Hader, und Streit erhebt sich.
Why? do you make see me wickedness and mischief do you look at? and devastation and violence [are] to before me and it has been strife and contention it arises.
4 Darum erlahmt das Gesetz, und das Recht bricht nimmermehr durch; denn der Gottlose umringt den Gerechten; darum kommt das Urteil verkehrt heraus!
There-fore it grows numb [the] law and not it comes forth to perpetuity justice for [the] wicked [is] surrounding the righteous [person] there-fore it comes forth justice perverted.
5 Seht, ihr Verächter, und schaut umher, verwundert und entsetzt euch! Denn ich tue ein Werk in euren Tagen; ihr würdet es nicht glauben, wenn man es erzählte!
See among the nations and look and be astounded be astonished for a deed [I am] about to do in days your [which] not you will believe if it will be recounted.
6 Denn siehe, ich erwecke die Chaldäer, ein bitterböses und behendes Volk, das die Breiten der Erde durchzieht, um Wohnsitze zu erobern, die ihm nicht gehören.
For here I [am] about to raise up the Chaldeans the nation bitter and impetuous which goes to [the] expanses of [the] earth to take possession of dwellings [which] not [belong] to it.
7 Es ist schrecklich und furchtbar; sein Recht und sein Ansehen gehen von ihm selber aus.
[is] terrifying And awesome it from itself justice its and dignity its it comes forth.
8 Schneller als Pardel sind seine Rosse und grimmiger als Wölfe am Abend; seine Reiter kommen im Galopp daher, von fernher kommen die Reiter; sie fliegen daher wie ein Adler, der zum Fraße eilt.
And they are swift more than leopards horses its and they are keen more than wolves of [the] evening and they paw [the] ground warhorses its and horsemen its from a distance they come they fly like an eagle making haste to devour.
9 Nur auf Gewalttaten geht es aus, sein Angesicht ist stracks nach vorn gerichtet, und es bringt Gefangene ein wie Sand.
All of it for violence it comes [the] totality of faces their [is] east-ward and it gathered like sand captive[s].
10 Es spottet der Könige, und Fürsten sind ihm ein Spaß; es lacht aller Festungen, schüttet Erde auf und erobert sie.
And it kings it derides and rulers [are] laughter to it it at every fortress it laughs and it heaped up earth and it captured it.
11 Dann gewinnt es neuen Mut, geht zu weit und versündigt sich; denn diese seine Kraft macht es zu seinem Gott.
Then it swept on a wind and it passed on and he is guilty [the one] who strength his [becomes] god his.
12 Bist du, o HERR, nicht von Anfang an mein Gott, mein Heiliger? Wir werden nicht sterben. HERR, zum Gericht hast du ihn bestellt, und zur Strafe hast du, o Fels, ihn verordnet.
¿ Not [are] you from antiquity O Yahweh God my holy [one] my not we will die O Yahweh to judgment you have appointed it and O rock to reprove you have established it.
13 Deine Augen sind so rein, daß sie das Böse nicht sehen können; du kannst dem Jammer nicht zuschauen. Warum siehst du denn den Frevlern schweigend zu, während der Gottlose den verschlingt, der gerechter ist als er?
[you are too] pure of Eyes for seeing evil and to look to mischief not you are able why? do you look at treacherous [people] are you silent? when swallows up a wicked [person] a [person] righteous more than him.
14 Du lässest die Menschen so behandeln wie die Fische im Meer, wie Gewürm, das keinen Herrscher hat.
And you have made humankind like [the] fish of the sea like creeping thing[s] [which] not a ruler [is] over it.
15 Er fischt sie alle mit der Angel heraus, fängt sie mit seinem Netz und sammelt sie in sein Garn; darüber freut er sich und frohlockt.
All of it with a fish hook he brings up he drags away it in net his and he gathers it in fishing net his there-fore he rejoices and he may be glad.
16 Darum opfert er auch seinem Netz und räuchert seinem Garn; denn ihnen verdankt er seine fetten Bissen und seine kräftige Nahrung.
There-fore he sacrifices to net his so he may make smoke to fishing net his for by them [is] fat portion his and food his [is] fat.
17 Sollte er aber darum sein Netz beständig auswerfen und ohne Erbarmen Völker erwürgen?
¿ There-fore will he empty net his and continually to kill nations not will he spare?
