Hesekiel 48

1 Und das sind die Namen der Stämme: Am nördlichen Ende zur Seite des Weges, auf dem man von Hetlon bis nach Hamat und bis Hazar-Enon kommt, an der Grenze von Damaskus im Norden, zur Seite von Hamat, soll Dan seinen Teil haben von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite.

“And these are the names of the tribes, from the parts of the north, beside the way of Hethlon, continuing on to Hamath, at the entrance of Enon, to the border of Damascus toward the north, beside the way of Hamath. And from the region of the east to the sea, there will be one portion for Dan.

2 Neben dem Gebiet von Dan, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite Asser einen Anteil; neben dem Gebiet von Asser,

And beyond the border of Dan, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Asher.

3 von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Naphatli einen Anteil;

And beyond the border of Asher, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Naphtali.

4 neben dem Gebiet von Naphtali, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Manasse einen Anteil;

And beyond the border of Naphtali, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Manasseh.

5 neben Manasses Gebiet, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Ephraim einen Anteil;

And beyond the border of Manasseh, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Ephraim.

6 neben dem Gebiet von Ephraim, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Ruben einen Teil;

And beyond the border of Ephraim, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Reuben.

7 neben dem Gebiet von Ruben, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Juda einen Teil.

And beyond the border of Reuben, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Judah.

8 Aber neben dem Gebiet von Juda, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, soll die Gemarkung liegen, die ihr abgeben sollt, 25000 breit und so lang, wie sonst ein Teil von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite; in der Mitte derselben soll das Heiligtum stehen.

And beyond the border of Judah, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be the first-fruits, which you shall separate, twenty-five thousand in width, and in length, the same as each one of the portions from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea. And the sanctuary shall be in its midst.

9 Und die Gemarkung, welche ihr dem HERRN abzugeben habt, soll 25000 lang und 20000 breit sein.

The first-fruits, which you shall separate to the Lord, shall be, in length, twenty-five thousand, and in width, ten thousand.

10 Und diese heilige Gemarkung soll diesen gehören: Den Priestern ein Bezirk von 25000 nach Norden, 10000 nach Westen und 10000 nach Osten in der Breite, und nach Süden 25000 lang. In der Mitte desselben aber soll das Heiligtum des HERRN stehen.

And these shall be the first-fruits for the sanctuary of the priests: toward the north, in length, twenty-five thousand, and toward the sea, in width, ten thousand, but also, toward the east, in width, ten thousand, and toward the south, in length, twenty-five thousand. And the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in its midst.

11 Den geheiligten Priestern soll das zugehören, den Söhnen Zadoks, welche meinen Dienst versehen haben, die nicht abgeirrt sind wie die Leviten, als die Kinder Israel irre gingen.

The sanctuary shall be for the priests from the sons of Zadok, who observed my ceremonies and did not go astray, when the sons of Israel went astray, just as the Levites also went astray.

12 Also soll ihnen von der Gemarkung des geschenkten Landes ein Bezirk gehören, das Allerheiligste, neben dem Gebiet der Leviten.

And so the foremost of the first-fruits of the land, the Holy of Holies, beside the border of the Levites, shall be for them.

13 Den Leviten aber, entsprechend dem Gebiet der Priester, eine Gemarkung 25000 lang und 10000 breit. Die ganze Länge soll 25000 und die Breite 10000 betragen.

But also the Levites, similarly, shall have, beside the borders of the priests, twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in width. The entire length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the width shall be ten thousand.

14 Und von diesem [Gebiet] sollen sie nichts verkaufen noch vertauschen; und dieser Erstling des Landes darf nicht in andern Besitz übergehen; denn er ist dem HERRN geheiligt.

And they shall not sell from it, nor exchange, and the first-fruits of the land shall not be transferred. For these have been sanctified to the Lord.

15 Die übrigen 5000 aber, welche von der ganzen Breite von 25000 übrig sind, sollen als Allmende zur Stadt gehören, als Wohnplatz und Weideland, und die Stadt soll mitten drin stehen.

But the five thousand that is left over, out of the twenty-five thousand in width, will be a profane place of the city for dwelling and for the suburbs. And the city shall be in the center.

16 Und das sollen ihre Maße sein: die Nordseite 4500, die Südseite 4500, die Ostseite 4500 und die Westseite 4500.

And these shall be its measurements: on the northern side, four thousand and five hundred; and on the southern side, four thousand and five hundred; and on the eastern side, four thousand and five hundred; and on the western side, four thousand and five hundred.

17 Die Allmende soll im Norden 250, im Süden 250, im Osten 250 und im Westen 250 messen.

But the suburbs of the city shall be: to the north, two hundred and fifty; and to the south, two hundred and fifty; and to the east, two hundred and fifty; and to the sea, two hundred and fifty.

18 Aber das Übrige von der Länge der heiligen Gemarkung, die 10000 im Osten und die 10000 im Westen, was neben der heiligen Gemarkung liegt, dessen Ertrag soll den Arbeitern der Stadt zur Speise dienen.

Now what will remain of the length, in accord with the first-fruits of the sanctuary, ten thousand in the east, and ten thousand in the west, shall be as the first-fruits of the sanctuary. And its produce will be for the bread of those who serve the city.

19 Und die Arbeiter der Stadt sollen aus allen Stämmen Israels genommen werden.

And those who serve the city will be taken from all the tribes of Israel.

20 Die ganze Gemarkung soll 25000 ins Geviert betragen; als heilige Gemarkung sollt ihr sie samt dem Grundbesitz der Stadt abgeben.

All the first-fruits, of the twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand square, shall be separated as the first-fruits of the sanctuary and as the possession of the city.

21 Aber das Übrige soll dem Fürsten gehören, zu beiden Seiten der heiligen Gemarkung und des Grundbesitzes der Stadt, längs der 25000 der Gemarkung bis zur Ostgrenze und längs der 25000 bis zur Westgrenze, entsprechend den Stammanteilen. Das gehört dem Fürsten; die heilige Gemarkung aber und das Heiligtum des Hauses liegt mitten drin.

And what will remain shall be for the prince out of every portion of the first-fruits of the sanctuary and of the possession of the city, from the region of the twenty-five thousand of the first-fruits, even to the eastern border. But also to the sea from the region of the twenty-five thousand, even to the border of the sea, similarly shall be the portion of the prince. And the first-fruits of the sanctuary, and the sanctuary of the temple, shall be in its center.

22 Es soll auch von dem Eigentum der Leviten und von dem Eigentum der Stadt an, welches zwischen dem Teil des Fürsten liegt, alles was zwischen dem Gebiet von Juda und Benjamin liegt, dem Fürsten gehören.

Now from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, which are in the midst of the prince’s portions, whatever is between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall also belong to the prince.

23 Von den übrigen Stämmen aber soll Benjamin von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite einen Teil empfangen;

And for the remainder of the tribes, from the eastern region, even to the western region, there shall be one portion for Benjamin.

24 und neben Benjamins Gebiet, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Simeon einen Teil;

And opposite the border of Benjamin, from the eastern region, even to the western region, there shall be one portion for Simeon.

25 neben Simeons Gebiet, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Issaschar einen Teil;

And beyond the border of Simeon, from the eastern region, even to the western region, there shall be one portion for Issachar.

26 neben Issaschars Gebiet, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Sebulon einen Teil;

And beyond the border of Issachar, from the eastern region, even to the western region, there shall be one portion for Zebulun.

27 neben Sebulons Gebiet, von der Ostseite bis zur Westseite, Gad einen Teil;

And beyond the border of Zebulun, from the eastern region, even to the region of the sea, there shall be one portion for Gad.

28 neben Gads Gebiet aber, auf der Südseite, gegen Mittag, soll die Grenze von Tamar bis zum Haderwasser bei Kades und durch den Bach zum großen Meere laufen.

And beyond the border of Gad, toward the southern region, in the meridian, the last part shall be from Tamar, even to the Waters of Contradiction at Kadesh, as the inheritance opposite the great sea.

29 Dies ist das Land, das ihr als Erbbesitz unter die Stämme Israels verlosen sollt; und das sind ihre Anteile, spricht Gott, der HERR.

This is the land that you shall distribute by lot to the tribes of Israel, and these shall be their portions, says the Lord God.

30 Und dies sollen die Ausgänge der Stadt sein: An der Nordseite, welche 4500 mißt,

And these shall be the exits of the city: from the northern region, you shall measure four thousand and five hundred.

31 (und zwar sollen die Tore der Stadt nach den Namen der Stämme Israels benannt werden): drei Tore gegen Norden; das erste Ruben, das zweite Juda, das dritte Levi.

And the gates of the city shall be according to the names of the tribes of Israel. There shall be three gates from the north: the gate of Reuben one, the gate of Judah one, the gate of Levi one.

32 Und auf der Ostseite 4500 und drei Tore: das erste Tor Joseph, das zweite Benjamin, das dritte Dan.

And to the eastern region, there shall be four thousand and five hundred. And there shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph one, the gate of Benjamin one, the gate of Dan one.

33 Auch die Südseite mißt 4500 und hat drei Tore: das erste Simeon, das zweite Issaschar, das dritte Sebulon.

And to the southern region, you shall measure four thousand and five hundred. And there shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon one, the gate of Issachar one, the gate of Zebulun one.

34 Die Westseite mißt auch 4500 und hat ihre drei Tore: das erste Gad, das zweite Asser, das dritte Naphtali.

And to the western region, there shall be four thousand and five hundred, and their three gates: the gate of Gad one, the gate of Asher one, the gate of Naphtali one.

35 Der ganze Umfang beträgt 18000. Und der Name der Stadt soll fortan lauten: «Der HERR ist hier!»

Along the circumference, there shall be eighteen thousand. And the name of the city, from that day, shall be: ‘The Lord is in that very place.’”
