Hesekiel 34
1 Und das Wort des HERRN kam zu mir also:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 Menschensohn, weissage wider die Hirten Israels, weissage und sprich zu ihnen, den Hirten: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wehe den Hirten Israels, die sich selbst weiden! Sollen die Hirten nicht die Herde weiden?
Son of man, prophesy concerning the shepherds of Israel: prophesy, and say to the shepherds: Thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, that fed themselves: should not the hocks be fed by the shepherds?
3 Das Fette esset ihr, mit der Wolle bekleidet ihr euch, und das Gemästete schlachtet ihr, aber die Herde weidet ihr nicht!
You ate the milk, and you clothed yourselves with the wool, and you killed that which was fat: but my flock you did not feed.
4 Das Schwache stärket ihr nicht, das Kranke heilet ihr nicht, das Verwundete verbindet ihr nicht, das Verscheuchte holt ihr nicht zurück, und das Verlorene suchet ihr nicht,
The weak you have not strengthened, and that which was sick you have not healed, that which was broken you have not bound up, and that which was driven away you have not brought again, neither have you sought that which was lost: but you ruled over them with rigour, and with a high hand.
5 sondern streng und hart herrschet ihr über sie! Und so haben sie sich zerstreut, weil sie ohne Hirten waren, und sind allen wilden Tieren des Feldes zur Speise geworden und haben sich zerstreut.
And my sheep were scattered, because there was no shepherd: and they became the prey of all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.
6 Auf allen Bergen und hohen Hügeln gehen meine Schafe irre, und über das ganze Land sind meine Schafe zerstreut; und niemand ist da, der nach ihnen fragt oder sie sucht.
My sheep have wandered in every mountain, and in every high hill: and my flocks mere scattered upon the face of the earth, and there was none that sought them, there was none, I say, that sought them.
7 Darum, ihr Hirten, höret das Wort des HERRN!
Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
8 So wahr ich lebe, spricht Gott, der HERR, weil meine Schafe zum Raube und allen wilden Tieren des Feldes zur Speise geworden sind, weil sie keinen Hirten haben und meine Hirten meinen Schafen nicht nachfragen, weil sie nur sich selbst und nicht meine Schafe weiden,
As I live, saith the Lord God, forasmuch as my flocks have been made a spoil, and my sheep are become a prey to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd: for my shepherds did not seek after my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flocks:
9 so höret, ihr Hirten, das Wort des HERRN!
Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
10 So spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich will an die Hirten und will meine Schafe von ihren Händen fordern und will ihrem Schafeweiden ein Ende machen, und die Hirten sollen hinfort auch sich selbst nicht mehr weiden; denn ich will meine Schafe aus ihrem Maul erretten, daß sie hinfort nicht ihre Speise sein sollen.
Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself come upon the shepherds, I will require my hock at their hand, and I will cause them to cease from feeding the flock any more, neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more: and I will deliver my flock from their mouth, and it shall no more be meat for them.
11 Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich selbst will meinen Schafen nachforschen und sie suchen!
For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself will seek my sheep, and will visit them.
12 Wie ein Hirt seine Herde zusammensucht an dem Tage, da er mitten unter seinen zerstreuten Schafen ist, so will ich meine Schafe suchen und sie aus allen Orten erretten, dahin sie sich an dem neblichten und dunklen Tage zerstreut haben.
As the shepherd visiteth his hock in the day when he shall be in the midst of his sheep that were scattered, so will I visit my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
13 Ich will sie aus den Völkern herausführen und aus den Ländern zusammenbringen und will sie in ihr Land führen und sie weiden auf den Bergen Israels, in den Tälern und an allen Wohnorten des Landes.
And I will bring them out from the peoples, and will gather them out of the countries, and will bring them to their own land: and I will feed them in the mountains of Israel, by the rivers, and in all the habitations of the land.
14 Auf einer guten Weide will ich sie weiden; und ihre Trift soll auf den hohen Bergen Israels sein, daselbst sollen sie sich in einer guten Hürde lagern und auf den Bergen Israels fette Weide haben!
I will feed them in the most fruitful pastures, and their pastures shall be in the high mountains of Israel: there shall they rest on the green grass, and be fed in fat pastures upon the mountains of Israel.
15 Ich will selbst meine Schafe weiden und sie lagern, spricht Gott, der HERR.
I will feed my sheep: and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.
16 Das Verlorene will ich suchen und das Verscheuchte zurückholen und das Verwundete verbinden; das Schwache will ich stärken; aber was fett und stark ist, will ich abtun; ich will sie weiden, wie es recht ist.
I will seek that which was lost: and that which was driven away, I will bring again: and I will bind up that which was broken, and I will strengthen that which was weak, and that which was fat and strong I will preserve: and I will feed them in judgment.
17 Und zu euch, meinen Schafen, spricht Gott, der HERR: Seht, ich will richten zwischen den einzelnen Schafen, zwischen den Widdern und Böcken.
And as for you, O my flocks, thus saith the Lord God: Behold I judge between cattle and cattle, of rams and of he goats.
18 Ist es euch nicht genug, daß ihr eine so gute Weide abweidet; müßt ihr auch noch das übrige Weideland mit euren Füßen zertreten? Und wenn ihr klares Wasser getrunken habt, müßt ihr dann das übrige mit euren Füßen trüben?
Was it not enough for you to feed upon good pastures? but you must also tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures: and when you drank the dearest water, you troubled the rest with your feet.
19 Und sollen dann meine Schafe das abweiden, was ihr mit euren Füßen zertreten habt, und trinken, was ihr mit euren Füßen trübe gemacht habt?
And my sheep were fed with that which you had trodden with your feet: and they drank what your feet had troubled.
20 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also zu ihnen: Siehe, Ich will selbst richten zwischen den fetten und den mageren Schafen:
Therefore thus saith the Lord God to you: Behold, I myself will judge between the fat cattle and the lean.
21 weil ihr alle schwachen Schafe mit Seite und Schulter gedrängt und mit euren Hörnern gestoßen habt, bis ihr sie hinausgetrieben hattet,
Because you thrusted with sides and shoulders, and struck all the weak cattle with your horns, till they were scattered abroad:
22 so will ich meinen Schafen zu Hilfe kommen, daß sie hinfort nicht mehr zur Beute werden sollen, und ich will Recht sprechen zwischen den einzelnen Schafen.
I will save my dock, and it shall be no more a spoil, and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
23 Ich will ihnen einen einzigen Hirten erwecken, der sie weiden soll, nämlich meinen Knecht David; der soll sie weiden, und der soll ihr Hirte sein.
AND I WILL SET UP ONE SHEPHERD OVER THEM, and he shall feed them, even my servant David: he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
24 Und ich, der HERR, will ihr Gott sein, und mein Knecht David soll Fürst sein mitten unter ihnen; ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt!
And I the Lord will be their God: and my servant David the prince in the midst of them: I the Lord have spoken it.
25 Ich will einen Friedensbund mit ihnen schließen und alle bösen Tiere aus dem Lande treiben, daß sie in der Wüste sicher wohnen und in den Wäldern schlafen können.
And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they that dwell in the wilderness shall sleep secure in the forests.
26 Ich will sie und die Umgebung meines Hügels zum Segen setzen und will ihnen den Regen zu seiner Zeit herabsenden; das sollen gesegnete Regen sein!
And I will make them a blessing round about my hill: and I will send down the rain in its season, there shall be showers of blessing.
27 Und die Bäume des Feldes sollen ihre Früchte bringen und das Erdreich sein Gewächs; und sie sollen sicher in ihrem Lande wohnen und erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich ihr Joch zerbreche und sie aus der Hand derer errette, die sie knechteten.
And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be in their land without fear: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have broken the bonds of their yoke, and shall have delivered them out of the hand of those that rule over them.
28 Sie sollen hinfort nicht mehr eine Beute der Heiden werden, noch sollen die wilden Tiere des Landes sie fressen, sondern sie sollen sicher wohnen, und niemand wird sie erschrecken.
And they shall be no more for a spoil to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the earth devour them: but they shall dwell securely without any terror.
29 Ich will ihnen auch eine berühmte Pflanze erwecken, daß sie nicht mehr durch Hunger im Lande weggerafft werden und die Schmähung der Heiden nicht mehr tragen müssen.
And I will raise up for them a bud of renown: and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither shall they bear any more the reproach of the Gentiles.
30 Also werden sie erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, ihr Gott, bei ihnen bin und daß sie, das Haus Israel, mein Volk sind, spricht Gott, der HERR.
And they shall know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they are my people the house of Israel: saith the Lord God.
31 Und ihr seid meine Herde; ihr Menschen seid die Schafe meiner Weide! Ich bin euer Gott, spricht Gott, der HERR.
And you my flocks, the flocks of my pasture are men: and I am the Lord your God, saith the Lord God.
