Hesekiel 32
1 Im zwölften Jahr, im zwölften Monat, am ersten Tage des Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN an mich also:
And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Menschensohn, hebe ein Klagelied an über den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, und sprich zu ihm: Du warst gleich einem jungen Löwen unter den Heiden, und du warst wie ein Krokodil im Meere. Du schossest einher in deinen Strömen; du trübtest das Wasser mit deinen Füßen und wühltest ihre Flüsse auf.
Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou didst deem thyself like a young lion among the nations: while thou art as a crocodile in the seas; and thou issuedst forth with thy rivers, and madest turbid the waters with thy feet, and didst stir up their rivers.
3 So spricht Gott, der HERR: Ich will mein Netz über dich ausspannen unter der Versammlung vieler Völker; die werden dich in meinem Garne heraufziehen.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will therefore spread out my net over thee through the assemblage of many people, and they shall draw thee up in my net.
4 Denn ich will dich auf das Land werfen und aufs Feld hinstrecken, daß alle Vögel des Himmels sich auf dich setzen sollen; ich will die Tiere der ganzen Erde mit dir sättigen.
Then will I cast thee upon the land, upon the open field will I hurl thee, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to dwell upon thee, and I will satisfy off thee the beasts of all the earth.
5 Ich will dein Fleisch auf die Berge werfen und die Täler mit deinem Aas füllen.
And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy carcass.
6 Ich will das Land mit deinem Ausflusse, mit deinem Blute, tränken bis an die Berge hin, und die Kanäle sollen voll werden von dir.
I will also saturate the land wherein thou swimmest with thy blood, even to the mountains; and the ravines shall be full of thee.
7 Wenn ich dich auslöschen werde, so will ich den Himmel bedecken und seine Sterne finster machen; ich will die Sonne mit einer Wolke überziehen, und der Mond wird seinen Schein nicht geben;
And I will cover up the heavens, when thou art quenched, and make their stars obscure: the sun will I cover up with a cloud, and the moon shall not let shine her light.
8 ich will alle leuchtenden Himmelslichter über dir verdunkeln und Finsternis über dein Land bringen, spricht Gott, der HERR.
All the light-dispensing lights of the heavens—these will I make obscure because of thee, and I will lay darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord Eternal.
9 Ich will auch das Herz vieler Völker ängstigen, wenn ich deinen Untergang bekannt mache unter den Heiden und in den Ländern, welche du nicht kennst.
And I will aggrieve the heart of many people, when I bring those who are broken off from thee among the nations, into countries which thou hast not known.
10 Und ich werde machen, daß sich viele Völker über dich entsetzen und daß ihre Könige deinetwegen erschaudern werden, wenn ich mein Schwert vor ihren Augen schwingen werde. Sie werden jeden Augenblick erzittern, ein jeder für sein Leben, an dem Tage deines Falls.
Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and on their kings the hair shall stand on end because of thee, when I brandish my sword before their faces: and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, on the day of thy downfall.
11 Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Das Schwert des Königs von Babel wird über dich kommen.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The sword of the king of Babylon shall come over thee.
12 Durch das Schwert der Helden will ich deine Menge fällen (die Gewalttätigsten unter den Heiden sind sie alle), und sie werden die stolze Pracht Ägyptens verwüsten, und all seine Volksmenge wird vertilgt werden.
By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the fiercest of nations are all of them: and they shall destroy the pride of Egypt, and all her multitude shall be annihilated.
13 Ich will auch alle seine Tiere an den großen Wassern umbringen, daß hinfort weder die Füße der Menschen, noch die Klauen der Tiere sie trüben sollen.
And I will cause to vanish all her beasts from beside the great waters; and the foot of man shall not make them turbid any more, nor shall the hoofs of beasts make them turbid.
14 Alsdann will ich machen, daß ihre Wasser sinken und ihre Ströme wie Öl daherfließen sollen, spricht Gott, der HERR.
Then will I make clear their waters, and cause their rivers to flow like oil, saith the Lord Eternal;
15 Wenn ich Ägyptenland wüste gelegt und das Land von allem, was darinnen ist, entblößt habe, wenn ich alle, die darin wohnen, geschlagen habe, so werden sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
When I render the land of Egypt desolate and wasted, the country bereft of what now filleth it, when I smite all those that dwell therein: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
16 Das ist das Klagelied, welches die Töchter der Heiden anstimmen werden; ja, sie werden eine Wehklage über sie erheben; über Ägypten und über alle seine Menge werden sie eine Klage anheben, spricht Gott, der HERR.
This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament for her; the daughters of the nations shall lament for her: for Egypt, and for all her multitude, shall they lament with it, saith the Lord Eternal.
17 Und im zwölften Jahr, am fünfzehnten Tage des Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN an mich also:
And it came to pass in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
18 Menschensohn, erhebe eine Wehklage über die Menge in Ägypten und laß sie mit den Töchtern mächtiger Völker in die Unterwelt hinabfahren zu denen, welche zur Grube fahren.
Son of man, moan for the multitude of Egypt, and say that it shall go down, yea, she, and the daughters of powerful nations, unto the land of the nether world, with those that go down to the pit.
19 Wen übertriffst du an Lieblichkeit? Steig hinab! Lege dich zu den Unbeschnittenen!
Whom dost thou surpass in loveliness? go down [then], and be thou laid with the [other] uncircumcised.
20 Mitten unter den vom Schwerte Erschlagenen sollen sie fallen. Das Schwert ist übergeben; ziehet sie hinab samt all ihrer Menge!
In the midst of those that are slain by the sword shall they fall: to the sword is she given up; drag her away and all her multitudes.
21 Es werden die Starken unter den Helden aus der Mitte der Unterwelt von ihm und seinen Helfern sagen: «Sie sind hinabgefahren, sie liegen da, die Unbeschnittenen, die vom Schwerte durchbohrt sind!» (Sheol h7585)
Then will speak of him the strongest among the mighty out of the midst of the nether world with those that once helped him, They are gone down, there lie the uncircumcised, —slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)
22 Da ist Assur mit seinem ganzen Haufen, ringsum sind seine Gräber, sie alle sind mit dem Schwerte erschlagen und gefallen.
There is Asshur and all his assemblage; round about him are his graves; all of them the slain that are fallen by the sword;
23 Ihre Gräber sind in die tiefste Grube gelegt. Und rings um sein Grab ist seine Schar; sie sind alle erschlagen, durchs Schwert gefallen, die zuvor Schrecken verbreitet haben im Lande der Lebendigen.
Whose graves are placed in the lowest depth of the pit, and his assemblage is round about his grave; all of them are slain, fallen by the sword, who once spread terror in the land of the living.
24 Da ist auch Elam und alle seine Menge rings um sein Grab; sie alle sind erschlagen, durchs Schwert gefallen, unbeschnitten in die Unterwelt hinabgefahren; sie, die einst Schrecken verbreiteten im Lande der Lebendigen und nun ihre Schmach tragen mit denen, welche in die Grube hinabgefahren sind.
There is 'Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them the slain, that are fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the land of the nether world, who once spread their terror in the land of the living; and they have borne their confusion with those that go down to the pit.
25 Man hat ihn mit all seiner Menge unter die Erschlagenen gelegt; ihre Gräber sind rings um ihn her. Alle sind unbeschnitten, mit dem Schwerte erschlagen; weil sie Schrecken verbreitet haben im Lande der Lebendigen, müssen sie ihre Schande tragen samt denen, welche zur Grube hinabfahren; man hat ihn mitten unter die Erschlagenen gelegt.
In the midst of the slain have they set a couch for her with all her multitude; all round about are her graves; all of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because their terror was once spread in the land of the living; and they have borne their confusion with those that go down to the pit: in the midst of the slain was she placed.
26 Da sind auch Mesech, Tubal und ihre ganze Menge und ihre Gräber ringsum. Diese alle sind unbeschnitten durchs Schwert umgekommen, weil sie Schrecken verbreitet haben im Lande der Lebendigen.
There is Meshech, Thubal, and all her multitude; all round about her are her graves: all of them are the uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because they once spread their terror in the land of the living.
27 Und sie liegen nicht bei den Helden, welche unter den Unbeschnittenen gefallen sind, die mit ihren Kriegswaffen in die Unterwelt hinabfuhren, denen man ihre Schwerter unter ihre Häupter legte; sondern ihre Missetat ist auf ihrem Gebein, weil sie ein Schrecken der Helden waren im Lande der Lebendigen. And those who are fallen of the uncircumcised shall not lie with the mighty, who are gone down to the nether world with their weapons of war, while men laid their swords under their heads, and the [instruments of] their iniquities were upon their bones; for the terror of the mighty was in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
28 So sollst auch du unter den Unbeschnittenen zerschmettert werden und unter denen liegen, welche durch das Schwert umgekommen sind!
But thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with those that are slain by the sword.
29 Da ist auch Edom mit seine Königen und allen seinen Fürsten, welche mit ihrer Macht zu denen gelegt sind, die durch das Schwert erschlagen wurden. Sie liegen bei den Unbeschnittenen und bei denen, welche in die Grube hinabfahren.
There are Edom, her kings, and all her princes, who are laid despite their prowess by those that are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those that go down to the pit.
30 Da sind auch alle Fürsten des Nordens und alle Zidonier, welche mit den Erschlagenen hinabgefahren sind. Sie sind mit ihrer erschreckenden Stärke zuschanden geworden und liegen unbeschnitten unter denen, welche mit dem Schwerte erschlagen sind, und tragen ihre Schande samt denen, welche zur Grube hinabfuhren.
There are the chieftains of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, who are gone down with the slain: despite the terror they excited through their prowess are they made ashamed; and they lie uncircumcised with those that are slain by the sword, and bear their confusion with those that go down to the pit.
31 Wenn nun der Pharao diese sehen wird, so wird er getröstet werden über alle seine Menge. Vom Schwerte erschlagen ist der Pharao und all sein Heer, spricht Gott, der HERR.
These shall Pharaoh see, and he shall be comforted over all his multitude: slain by the sword are Pharaoh and all his army, saith the Lord Eternal.
32 Denn ich habe ihn Schrecken verbreiten lassen im Lande der Lebendigen; darum soll der Pharao und seine ganze Menge unter Unbeschnittenen hingestreckt werden und bei denen, welche vom Schwerte erschlagen worden sind, spricht Gott, der HERR.
For I spread my terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with those that are slain by the sword, —yea, Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord Eternal.
