Hesekiel 19
1 Du aber stimme ein Klagelied an über die Fürsten Israels und sprich:
And you take up a lamentation because of [the] princes of Israel.
2 Was ist deine Mutter? Eine Löwin, die zwischen Leuen lag und ihre Jungen unter den jungen Löwen auferzog.
And you will say what? [was] mother your a lioness between lions she lay down in among young lions she reared cubs her.
3 Und sie zog eins von ihren Jungen auf, das ward ein junger Löwe und lernte rauben und fraß Menschen.
And she brought up one of cubs her a young lion it was and it learned to tear prey human[s] it devoured.
4 Da hörten die Heiden von ihm, und er ward in ihrer Grube gefangen, und sie führten ihn an Nasenringen nach Ägyptenland.
And they heard concerning it nations in pit their it was caught and they brought it with hooks to [the] land of Egypt.
5 Als sie aber sah, daß sie vergeblich harrte und ihre Hoffnung verloren war, nahm sie ein anderes von ihren Jungen und erzog es zu einem jungen Löwen;
And she saw that she waited it was lost hope her and she took one of cubs her a young lion she made it.
6 der ging einher unter den Leuen und ward ein junger Löwe, er lernte rauben und fraß Menschen.
And it went about in among lions a young lion it was and it learned to tear prey human[s] it devoured.
7 Und er schändete ihre Witwen und verwüstete ihre Städte, so daß das Land samt allem, was darin war, sich vor seinem lauten Brüllen entsetzte.
And it knew widows its and cities their it laid waste and it was desolate [the] land and what fills it from [the] sound of roaring its.
8 Aber die Nationen rings aus allen Ländern stellten sich ihm entgegen und spannten ihr Netz über ihn; und er ward in ihrer Grube gefangen.
And they set on it nations all around from provinces and they spread out over it net their in pit their it was caught.
9 Und sie zogen ihn an Nasenringen in einen Käfig und brachten ihn zum König von Babel und taten ihn in einen Zwinger, damit seine Stimme nicht mehr auf den Bergen Israels vernommen werde.
And they put it in cage with hooks and they brought it to [the] king of Babylon they brought it in strongholds so that not it will be heard voice its again to [the] mountains of Israel.
10 Deine Mutter war gleich einem Weinstock, an Wassern gepflanzt, der viele Früchte und Schosse bekam vom vielen Wasser.
Mother your like vine in blood your at water planted fruitful and full of branches it was from waters many.
11 Seine Äste wurden so stark, daß man Herrscherstäbe daraus machen konnte, und er wuchs über das dichte Laubwerk empor, so daß er auffiel wegen seiner Höhe und der Menge seiner Ranken.
And they belonged to it branches of strength to scepters of rulers and it was lofty stature its above between branches and it was seen by height its by [the] abundance of branches its.
12 Aber er ward im Zorn ausgerissen und zu Boden geworfen; und der Ostwind dörrte seine Frucht aus, seine starken Äste wurden abgerissen, sie wurden dürr und mit Feuer verbrannt.
And it was plucked up in rage to the ground it was thrown down and [the] wind of the east it dried up fruit its they were torn off and they became dry [the] branch of strength its a fire it consumed it.
13 Jetzt aber ist er in der Wüste gepflanzt, in einem dürren und trockenen Land.
And now [it is] planted in the wilderness in a land dry and thirst.
14 Und es ging Feuer aus von einem Zweige seiner Äste, das verzehrte seine Früchte, so daß er keinen Ast mehr hat, der zu einem Herrscherstab tauglich wäre. Das ist ein Klagelied und zum Klagegesang bestimmt.
And it went out fire from [the] branch of shoots its fruit its it consumed and not it was in it a branch of strength a scepter to rule [is] a lamentation it and it has become a lamentation.
