Hesekiel 13
1 Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich also:
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 Menschensohn, weissage wider die Propheten Israels, welche weissagen, und sage zu denen, die aus ihrem eigenen Herzen weissagen:
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say to them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of Jehovah!
3 Höret das Wort des HERRN! So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wehe den törichten Propheten, die ihrem eigenen Geiste folgen und dem, was sie nicht gesehen haben!
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 Israel, gleich Schakalen in den Ruinen sind deine Propheten!
Thy prophets, O Israel, are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 Ihr seid nicht in die Risse getreten und habt keine Mauer um das Haus Israel gemacht, daß es im Kampfe standzuhalten vermöchte am Tage des HERRN!
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor built a wall around the house of Israel, to stand in battle in the day of Jehovah.
6 Sie schauen Trug und lügenhafte Wahrsagung, sie, die da sagen: «So spricht der HERR!» obgleich der HERR sie nicht gesandt hat; und sie machen [ihnen] Hoffnung, daß er das Wort bestätige.
They see falsehood, and lying divination. They say, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when Jehovah hath not sent them; and they cause men to hope for the fulfilment of the word.
7 Habt ihr nicht falsche Gesichte gesehen und lügenhafte Wahrsagung ausgesprochen und dabei gesagt: «So spricht der HERR!» während ich doch nichts gesagt habe?
Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, and said, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when I have not spoken?
8 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Weil ihr Trug redet und Lügen schauet, so seht, ich will an euch! spricht Gott, der HERR.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood and have seen a lie, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
9 Und meine Hand soll über die Propheten kommen, welche Trug schauen und Lügen wahrsagen. Sie sollen nicht der Gemeinschaft meines Volkes angehören und nicht in das Verzeichnis des Hauses Israel eingetragen werden; sie sollen auch nicht in das Land Israel kommen, und ihr werdet erfahren, daß ich, Gott, der HERR bin,
My hand shall be against the prophets that see falsehood and divine lies. They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
10 darum, ja, darum, weil sie mein Volk irregeführt und von Frieden geredet haben, wo doch kein Friede ist! Jenes baut eine Wand, und diese übertünchen sie mit losem Kalk!
Because, yea, because they seduce my people, and say, “Peace!” when there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar;
11 So sage nun denen, die mit losem Kalk tünchen, daß er abfallen wird. Es soll ein überschwemmender Platzregen kommen, und Hagelsteine werden fallen, und ein Sturmwind wird losbrechen!
say to them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall; there shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12 Ja, siehe, die Wand wird fallen! Wird man nicht alsdann zu euch sagen: Wo ist nun die Tünche, die ihr aufgestrichen habt?
So when the wall is fallen, shall not men say to you, “Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
13 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Ich lasse in meinem Zorn einen Sturmwind hervorbrechen, und ein überschwemmender Platzregen soll durch meinen Zorn kommen und Hagelsteine durch meinen Grimm zur Vernichtung.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury, and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 Und die Wand, welche ihr mit losem Kalk getüncht habt, will ich niederreißen und zu Boden werfen, daß ihr Fundament aufgedeckt werde und sie falle und ihr darunter umkommet; so werdet ihr erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
Thus I will break down the wall which ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and will bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.
15 Also will ich an dieser Wand und an denen, welche sie mit losem Kalk getüncht haben, meinen Grimm kühlen und zu euch sagen: Die Wand ist nicht mehr, und die, welche sie getüncht haben, sind auch nicht mehr,
Thus will I accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor they that daubed it;
16 nämlich die Propheten Israels, welche Jerusalem weissagen und Gesichte des Friedens für sie schauen, wo doch kein Friede ist, spricht Gott, der HERR.
even the prophets of Israel, who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and see visions of peace for her when there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
17 Und du, Menschensohn, richte dein Angesicht wider die Töchter deines Volkes, welche aus ihrem eigenen Herzen weissagen, und weissage wider sie und sprich:
Likewise, son of man, set thou thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them.
18 So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wehe den Weibern, welche Binden nähen für alle Handgelenke und Überwürfe verfertigen für Köpfe jeder Größe, um Seelen zu fangen! Wollt ihr die Seelen meines Volkes fangen, um eure eigenen Seelen am Leben zu erhalten?
And say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew cushions for all elbows, and make pillows for heads of every stature, to ensnare men to destruction! Will ye hunt the lives of my people, and shall ye save your own?
19 Ihr entheiliget mich bei meinem Volke für einige Hände voll Gerste und für etliche Bissen Brot, um Seelen zu töten, welche nicht sterben sollten, und Seelen am Leben zu erhalten, welche nicht leben sollten, indem ihr mein Volk anlüget, das euren Lügen Gehör schenkt!
And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley, and for pieces of bread, slaying them that should not die, and saving them alive that should not live, by lying to my people, who hearken to your lies?
20 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Siehe, ich will an eure Binden, mit welchen ihr die Seelen fanget wie Vögel! Ich will sie euch von den Armen reißen und die Seelen, welche ihr fanget, freilassen wie Vögel!
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will set myself against the cushions with which ye ensnare men to destruction, so that they shall escape you; and I will tear them from your arms, and make them free whom ye would ensnare, so that they shall escape you.
21 Und ich will eure Kopfüberwürfe zerreißen und mein Volk aus eurer Hand erretten, daß sie hinfort nicht mehr als Beute in eure Hand fallen; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
Your pillows also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be ensnared, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
22 Weil ihr das Herz des Gerechten fälschlicherweise kränket, den ich doch nicht gekränkt haben will, dagegen die Hände des Gottlosen stärket, daß er sich ja nicht bekehre von seinem bösen Wege und er am Leben bleibe,
Because with lies ye have made sad the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life;
23 darum sollt ihr hinfort keinen Trug mehr schauen und keine Wahrsagerei mehr treiben, sondern ich will mein Volk aus euren Händen erretten, und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!
therefore shall ye no more see falsehood, nor divine divinations; but I will deliver my people out of your hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
