Hesekiel 10
1 Und ich schaute, und siehe, auf dem Firmament, das über dem Haupte der Cherubim war, befand sich etwas wie ein Saphirstein; etwas, das wie ein Throngebilde aussah, erschien über ihnen.
And I saw and there! [was] to the expanse which [was] above [the] head of the cherubim like a stone of sapphire like [the] appearance of [the] likeness of a throne it appeared above them.
2 Und er redete mit dem Mann, der das leinene Kleid trug, und sagte: Gehe hinein zwischen die Räder unter dem Cherub und fülle deine Hände mit glühenden Kohlen, die zwischen den Cherubim sind, und sprenge sie über die Stadt! Da ging er vor meinen Augen hinein.
And he said to the man - clothed of the linen and he said go to between the wheel to under the cherub and fill cupped hands your coals of fire from between the cherubim and sprinkle [them] on the city and he went to eyes my.
3 Und die Cherubim standen auf der rechten Seite des Hauses, als der Mann hineinging; die Wolke aber erfüllte den innern Vorhof.
And the cherubim [were] standing from [the] south of the house when went he the man and the cloud it filled the court inner.
4 Da erhob sich die Herrlichkeit des HERRN von dem Cherub zu der Schwelle des Hauses hin, also daß der Tempel von der Wolke erfüllt und der Vorhof voll Glanzes der Herrlichkeit des HERRN wurde.
And it rose [the] glory of Yahweh from on the cherub to [the] threshold of the house and it was filled the house the cloud and the court it was full [the] brightness of [the] glory of Yahweh.
5 Und man hörte das Rauschen der Flügel der Cherubim bis in den äußern Vorhof, gleich der Stimme des allmächtigen Gottes, wenn er redet.
And [the] sound of [the] wings of the cherubim it was heard to the court outer like [the] sound of God Almighty when speaks he.
6 Als er nun dem Manne, der das leinene Kleid trug, befahl, Feuer zwischen den Rädern, zwischen den Cherubim, zu holen, da ging dieser hinein und trat neben das Rad.
And it was when commanded he the man clothed of the linen saying take fire from between the wheel from between the cherubim and he went and he stood beside the wheel.
7 Da streckte ein Cherub seine Hand zwischen die Cherubim, nach dem Feuer, das zwischen den Cherubim war, und nahm davon und gab es dem, der das leinene Kleid trug, in die Hände; der nahm es und ging hinaus.
And he stretched out the cherub hand his from between the cherubim into the fire which [was] between the cherubim and he lifted up [some] and he put [it] into [the] cupped hands of [the] [man] clothed of the linen and he took [it] and he went out.
8 Und es wurde an den Cherubim etwas wie eine Menschenhand unter ihren Flügeln sichtbar.
And it was seen to the cherubim [the] form of [the] hand of a human under wings their.
9 Und ich schaute, und siehe, da waren vier Räder bei den Cherubim; ein Rad bei dem einen Cherub und das andere Rad bei dem andern Cherub; die Räder aber waren anzusehen wie der Glanz eines Chrysolithsteins.
And I saw and there! four wheels [were] beside the cherubim a wheel one beside the cherub one and a wheel one beside the cherub one and [the] appearance of the wheels [was] like [the] appearance of a stone of chrysolite.
10 Dem Ansehen nach waren sie alle vier von einerlei Gestalt, als wäre ein Rad mitten in dem andern.
And appearance their a likeness one [belonged] to [the] four of them just as it was the wheel in [the] middle of the wheel.
11 Wenn sie gingen, so gingen sie nach ihren vier Seiten; keines wandte sich um, wenn es ging; sondern wohin sich das Haupt wandte, dahin gingen sie, ihm nach, und sie wandten sich nicht um im Gehen.
When moved they to [the] four sides their they moved not they turned when moved they for the place which it turned the head after it they moved not they turned when moved they.
12 Ihr ganzer Leib und ihr Rücken und ihre Hände und ihre Flügel, auch die Räder waren alle ringsum voller Augen, bei allen vieren.
And all body their and backs their and hands their and wings their and the wheels [were] full eyes all around [belonged] to [the] four of them wheels their.
13 Und ihre Räder, die Räder nannte er vor meinen Ohren «Wirbelwind».
To the wheels to them it was called the wheel in ears my.
14 Aber jeder einzelne [Cherub] hatte vier Gesichter; das erste war eines Cherubs Gesicht, das zweite eines Menschen Gesicht, das dritte eines Löwen Gesicht und das vierte eines Adlers Gesicht.
And four faces [belonged] to one [the] face of the one [was] [the] face of the cherub and [the] face of the second [was the] face of a human and the third [face] [was the] face of a lion and the fourth [face] [was the] face of an eagle.
15 Und die Cherubim erhoben sich. Es war das lebendige Wesen, welches ich am Flusse Kebar gesehen hatte.
And they rose the cherubim that [was] the living creature which I had seen at [the] river of Kebar.
16 Wenn nun die Cherubim gingen, so gingen auch die Räder mit ihnen; und wenn die Cherubim ihre Flügel schwangen, daß sie sich von der Erde emporhoben, so wandten sich auch die Räder nicht von ihrer Seite.
And when moved the cherubim they moved the wheels beside them and when lifted up the cherubim wings their to rise from on the earth not they turned the wheels also they from beside them.
17 Wenn jene stillstanden, so standen auch diese still, wenn jene sich emporhoben, so erhoben sich auch die Räder mit ihnen; denn der Geist des lebendigen Wesens war in ihnen.
When stood still they they stood still and when rose they they rose with them for [the] spirit of the living creature [was] in them.
18 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN ging von der Schwelle des Tempels hinweg und stellte sich über die Cherubim.
And it went out [the] glory of Yahweh from at [the] threshold of the house and it stood still above the cherubim.
19 Da schwangen die Cherubim ihre Flügel und erhoben sich von der Erde bei ihrem Wegzug vor meinen Augen, und die Räder neben ihnen. Aber an der östlichen Pforte des Hauses des HERRN blieben sie stehen, und oben über ihnen war die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels.
And they lifted up the cherubim wings their and they rose from the earth to eyes my when went out they and the wheels [were] close by them and it stood still [the] entrance of [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh eastern and [the] glory of [the] God of Israel [was] above them from to above.
20 Es war das lebendige Wesen, welches ich am Flusse Kebar unter dem Gott Israels gesehen hatte; und ich merkte, daß es Cherubim waren.
That [was] the living creature which I had seen under [the] God of Israel at [the] river of Kebar and I knew that [were] cherubim they.
21 Ein Jedes hatte vier Gesichter und ein jedes vier Flügel, und etwas wie Menschenhände war unter ihren Flügeln.
Four four faces [belonged] to one and four wings [belonged] to one and [the] likeness of [the] hands of a human [were] under wings their.
22 Was aber die Gestalt ihrer Gesichter betrifft, so waren es die gleichen Gesichter, welche ich am Flusse Kebar gesehen hatte, ihre Erscheinung und sie selbst. Ein jedes ging gerade vor sich hin.
And [the] likeness of faces their they [were] the faces which I had seen at [the] river of Kebar appearance their and them each to [the] side of face its they moved.
