Ester 7
1 So kam nun der König mit Haman zum Trinkgelage bei der Königin Esther.
And he went the king and Haman to drink with Esther the queen.
2 Da sprach der König zu Esther auch am zweiten Tage beim Weintrinken: Was bittest du, Königin Esther? Es soll dir gegeben werden! Und was forderst du? Wäre es auch die Hälfte des Königreichs, es soll geschehen!
And he said the king to Esther also on the day second at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your O Esther the queen so it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.
3 Da antwortete die Königin Esther und sprach: Habe ich Gnade vor dir gefunden, o König, und gefällt es dem König, so schenke mir das Leben um meiner Bitte willen, und mein Volk um meines Begehrens willen!
And she answered Esther the queen and she said if I have found favor in view your O king and if [is] on the king good let it be given to me life my for petition my and people my for request my.
4 Denn wir sind verkauft, ich und mein Volk, um vertilgt, erwürgt und umgebracht zu werden. Wenn wir nur zu Knechten und Mägden verkauft würden, so wollte ich schweigen; aber der Feind wäre nicht imstande, den Schaden des Königs zu ersetzen!
For we have been sold I and people my to annihilate to kill and to destroy and if to male slaves and to female slaves we had been sold I kept quiet for not the distress [is] equal for [the] injury of the king.
5 Da sprach der König Ahasveros zu der Königin Esther: Wer ist der, und wo ist der, welcher sich vorgenommen hat, solches zu tun?
And he said the king Ahasuerus and he said to Esther the queen who? [is] he this and where? this [is] he whom it has filled him heart his to do thus.
6 Esther sprach: Der Widersacher und Feind ist dieser böse Haman! Da erschrak Haman vor dem König und der Königin.
And she said Esther a man an opponent and an enemy Haman evil this and Haman he was terrified from to before the king and the queen.
7 Der König aber stand in seinem Grimm auf vom Weintrinken und ging in den Garten am Hause. Haman aber stand auf und bat die Königin Esther um sein Leben; denn er sah, daß sein Verderben beim König beschlossen war.
And the king he rose up in rage his from [the] feast of wine into [the] garden of the palace and Haman he remained to seek on life his from Esther the queen for he saw that it was determined against him harm from with the king.
8 Und als der König aus dem Garten am Hause wieder in das Haus kam, wo man den Wein getrunken hatte, lag Haman an dem Polster, auf welchem Esther saß. Da sprach der König: Will er sogar der Königin Gewalt antun in meinem Hause? Das Wort war kaum aus des Königs Munde gegangen, so verhüllten sie dem Haman das Angesicht.
And the king he returned from [the] garden of the palace to [the] house of - [the] feast of wine and Haman [was] falling on the couch which Esther [was] on it and he said the king ¿ also to violate the queen with me in the house the word it came out from [the] mouth of the king and [the] face of Haman people covered.
9 Und Harbona, einer der Kämmerer vor dem König, sprach: Siehe, der Galgen, welchen Haman für Mardochai gemacht hat, der Gutes für den König geredet hat, steht schon bei Hamans Hause, fünfzig Ellen hoch! Der König sprach: Hängt ihn daran!
And he said Harbona one of the eunuchs before the king also there! the gallows which he has made Haman for Mordecai who he spoke good on the king [is] standing at [the] house of Haman high fifty cubit[s] and he said the king hang him on it.
10 Also hängte man Haman an den Galgen, welchen er für Mardochai gemacht hatte. Da legte sich der Zorn des Königs.
And they hanged Haman on the gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai and [the] rage of the king it subsided.
