5 Mose 22
1 Du sollst nicht zusehen, wie deines Bruders Ochs oder Schaf irregeht; du sollst dich ihnen nicht entziehen, sondern sollst sie deinem Bruder zurückbringen.
Thou schalt not se `thi brotheris oxe, ethir scheep, errynge, and schalt passe, but thou schalt brynge ayen to thi brother.
2 Wenn aber dein Bruder nicht in deiner Nähe wohnt, oder wenn du den Eigentümer nicht kennst, so sollst du sie in dein Haus aufnehmen, daß sie bei dir seien, bis dein Bruder sie sucht, und dann sollst du sie ihm zurückgeben.
And if thi brother is not nyy, nether thou knowist hym, thou schalt lede tho beestis in to thin hows, and tho schulen be at thee, as long as thi brother sekith tho, and til he resseyue hem.
3 Also sollst du auch tun mit seinem Esel, und also sollst du tun mit seinem Kleide, und also sollst du tun mit allem Verlorenen, was dein Bruder verliert, und was du findest; du kannst dich ihm nicht entziehen.
In lijk maner thou schalt do of `the asse, and clooth, and of ech thing of thi brother, that was lost; if thou fyndist it, be thou not necgligent as of an alien thing.
4 Du sollst nicht zusehen, wie der Esel deines Bruders oder sein Ochse auf dem Wege fallen; du sollst dich ihnen nicht entziehen, sondern du sollst ihnen aufhelfen.
If thou seest that the asse, ethir oxe of thi brothir felde in the weye, thou schalt not dispise, but thou schalt `reise with hym.
5 Ein Weib soll keine Männertracht tragen, und ein Mann soll keine Weiberkleider anziehen; denn wer solches tut, ist dem HERRN, deinem Gott, ein Greuel.
A womman schal not be clothid in a mannys clooth, nether a man schal vse a wommannys cloth; for he that doith thes thingis is abhomynable bifor God. If thou goist in the weie,
6 Wenn du zufällig auf dem Wege ein Vogelnest antriffst, auf irgend einem Baume oder auf der Erde, mit Jungen oder mit Eiern, während die Mutter auf den Jungen oder auf den Eiern sitzt, so sollst du die Mutter nicht mit den Jungen nehmen;
and fyndist a `nest of a brid in a tree, ethir in the erthe, and fyndist the modir sittynge on the briddis ethir eyrun, thou schalt not holde the modir with `the children, but thou schalt suffre `the modir go,
7 sondern du sollst die Mutter fliegen lassen und die Jungen nehmen, auf daß es dir wohl gehe und du lange lebest.
and schalt holde the sones takun, that it be wel to thee, and thou lyue in long tyme. Whanne thou bildist a newe hows,
8 Wenn du ein neues Haus baust, so mache ein Geländer um dein Dach herum, damit du nicht Blutschuld auf dein Haus ladest, wenn jemand hinunterfiele.
thou schalt make a wal of the roof bi cumpas, lest blood be sched out in thin hows, and thou be gilti, if another man slidith, and falle in to a dich.
9 Du sollst deinen Weinberg nicht mit zweierlei [Gewächs] bepflanzen, damit nicht das Ganze dem Heiligtum verfalle, was du angepflanzt hast und der Ertrag des Weinbergs.
Thou schalt not sowe thi vyner `of another seed, lest bothe the seed which thou hast sowe, and tho thingis that `comen forth of the vyner, ben halewid togidere.
10 Du sollst nicht zugleich mit einem Ochsen und Esel ackern.
Thou schalt not ere with an oxe and asse togidere.
11 Du sollst kein gemischtes Gewebe anziehen, das aus Wolle und Leinen zusammengewoben ist.
Thou schalt not be clothid in a cloth, which is wouun togidir of wolle and `of flex.
12 Du sollst dir Quasten machen an die vier Zipfel deines Überwurfs, womit du dich bedeckst.
Thou schalt make litle cordis bi foure corneris in the hemmys of thi mentil, `with which thou art hilid.
13 Wenn jemand ein Weib nimmt und zu ihr kommt, hernach aber sie zu hassen beginnt
If a man weddith a wijf, and aftirward hatith hir,
14 und gegen sie den Vorwurf der Unzucht erhebt und sie in einen schlechten Ruf bringt, indem er spricht: Ich habe dieses Weib genommen; als ich ihr aber näher kam, habe ich sie nicht als Jungfrau erfunden;
and sekith occasiouns bi which he `schal forsake hir, and puttith ayens hir `the werste name, and seith, Y haue take this wijf, and Y entride to hir, and Y foond not hir virgyn; the fadir and modir of hir schulen take
15 so sollen der Vater und die Mutter der Tochter sie nehmen und das Zeichen ihrer Jungfrauschaft vor die Ältesten der Stadt an das Tor hinausbringen.
hir, and thei schulen bere with hem the signes of her virgynyte to the eldre men of the citee, that ben in the yate;
16 Und der Vater der Tochter soll zu den Ältesten sagen: Ich habe diesem Mann meine Tochter zum Weibe gegeben.
and the fadir schal seie, Y yaf my douytir wijf to this man, and for he hatith hir, he puttith to hir `the werste name,
17 Nun fängt er an sie zu hassen und erhebt den Vorwurf der Unzucht gegen sie und spricht: Ich habe deine Tochter nicht als Jungfrau erfunden, da doch dies das Zeichen der Jungfrauschaft meiner Tochter ist! Und sie sollen das Kleid vor den Ältesten der Stadt ausbreiten.
that he seye, Y foond not thi douytir virgyn; and lo! these ben the signes of virgynyte of my douytir; thei schulen sprede forth a cloth bifor the eldre men of the citee. And the eldere men of that citee schulen
18 Dann sollen die Ältesten jener Stadt den Mann nehmen und ihn strafen,
take the man, and schulen bete hym,
19 und ihm eine Buße von hundert Schekel Silber auferlegen und dieselben dem Vater der Tochter geben, weil jener eine Jungfrau in Israel verleumdet hat; und er soll sie zum Weibe haben, er kann sie sein Leben lang nicht verstoßen.
and ferthermore thei schulen condempne hym in an hundrid siclis of siluer, whiche he schal yyue to the `fadir of the damysel, for he diffamide the werste name on a virgyn of Israel; and he schal haue hir wijf, and he schal not mowe forsake hir, in al `the tyme of his lijf.
20 Ist es aber die Wahrheit, und kann die Jungfrauschaft der Tochter nicht erwiesen werden,
That if it is soth, that he puttith ayens hir, and virgynyte is not foundun in the damysel, thei schulen caste hir `out of `the yatis of
21 so soll man sie vor die Tür ihres väterlichen Hauses führen, und die Leute ihrer Stadt sollen sie zu Tode steinigen, weil sie eine Schandtat in Israel begangen, indem sie Unzucht getrieben hat in ihres Vaters Haus. Also sollst du das Böse ausrotten aus deiner Mitte.
the hous of hir fadir; and men of that citee schulen oppresse hir with stoonys, and sche schal die, for sche dide vnleueful thing in Israel, that sche dide fornycacioun in `the hows of hir fadir; and thou schalt do awey yuel fro the myddis of thee.
22 Wenn jemand ertappt wird, daß er bei einer verheirateten Frau liegt, so sollen beide sterben, der Mann, der bei dem Weibe gelegen, und das Weib. Also sollst du das Böse von Israel ausrotten.
If a man slepith with `the wijf of another man, euer eithir schal die, that is, auowter and auowtresse; and thou schalt do awey yuel fro Israel.
23 Wenn eine Jungfrau, die einem Mann verlobt ist, von einem andern Mann in der Stadt angetroffen wird, und dieser bei ihr liegt,
If a man spousith a damysel virgyn, and a man fyndith hir in the citee, and doith letcherie with hir,
24 so sollt ihr sie beide zum Tor jener Stadt hinausführen und sollt sie beide steinigen, daß sie sterben: die Tochter darum, daß sie nicht geschrieen hat, weil sie in der Stadt war; den Mann darum, daß er seines Nächsten Weib geschwächt hat. Also sollst du das Böse von dir ausrotten.
thou schalt lede euer eithir to the yate of that citee, and thei schulen be oppressid with stoonus; the damysel schal be stonyd, for sche criede not, whanne sche was in the citee; the man schal `be stonyd, for he `made low the wijf of his neiybore; and thou schalt do awei yuel fro the myddis of thee.
25 Wenn aber der Mann die verlobte Tochter auf dem Felde antrifft und sie mit Gewalt ergreift und bei ihr liegt, so soll der Mann, der bei ihr gelegen, allein sterben.
Forsothe if a man fyndith in the feeld a `damysel, which is spousid, and he takith, and doith letcherie with hir, he aloone schal die;
26 Der Tochter aber sollst du nichts tun, weil sie keine Sünde getan hat, die des Todes würdig ist. Denn es ist gleich, wie wenn jemand sich wider seinen Nächsten aufmacht und ihn totschlägt; also verhält es sich auch damit.
the damysel schal suffre no thing of yuel, nethir is gilti of deeth; for as a theef risith ayens his brothir, and sleeth `his lijf, so and the damysel suffride; sche was aloone in the feeld,
27 Denn er fand sie auf dem Felde, und die verlobte Tochter schrie; es war aber niemand, der ihr helfen konnte.
sche criede, and noon was present, that schulde delyuer hir.
28 Wenn jemand eine Jungfrau antrifft, die noch nicht verlobt ist, und sie ergreift und bei ihr liegt und sie ertappt werden,
If a man fyndith a damysel virgyn that hath no spowse, and takith, and doith letcherie with hir, and the thing cometh to the doom,
29 so soll der Mann, der bei der Tochter gelegen, ihrem Vater fünfzig Schekel geben, und er soll sie zum Weibe haben, weil er sie geschwächt hat; er kann sie nicht verstoßen sein Leben lang.
he that slepte with hir schal yyue to `the fadir of the damysel fifti siclis of siluer, and he schal haue hir wijf, for he `made hir low; he schal not mow forsake hir, in alle the daies of his lijf.
30 Niemand soll seines Vaters Weib nehmen, damit er nicht seinen Vater entblöße.
A man schal not take `the wijf of his fadir, nethir he schal schewe `the hilyng of hir.
