Amos 2

1 So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Moabs wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie die Gebeine des Königs von Edom zu Kalk verbrannt haben;

Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Moab and on four not I will revoke it because burned he [the] bones of [the] king of Edom into lime.

2 darum will ich ein Feuer nach Moab senden, das die Paläste von Kerijot verzehren soll; und Moab soll sterben im Getümmel, im Kriegslärm und beim Posaunenschall;

And I will send forth a fire on Moab and it will consume [the] fortresses of Kerioth and it will die in uproar Moab with a shout of alarm with [the] sound of a trumpet.

3 und ich will den Richter aus seiner Mitte vertilgen und alle seine Fürsten mit ihm umbringen, spricht der HERR.

And I will cut off a judge from midst its and all officials its I will kill with him he says Yahweh.

4 So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Judas wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie das Gesetz des HERRN verachtet und seine Satzungen nicht beobachtet haben, sondern sich durch ihre Lügen verführen ließen, welchen schon ihre Väter nachgefolgt sind;

Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Judah and on four not I will revoke it because have rejected they [the] law of Yahweh and statutes his not they have kept and they have misled them lies their which they walked ancestors their after them.

5 darum will ich ein Feuer nach Juda senden, welches die Paläste Jerusalems verzehren soll.

And I will send forth a fire on Judah and it will consume [the] fortresses of Jerusalem.

6 So spricht der HERR: Wegen drei und wegen vier Übertretungen Israels wende ich solches nicht ab, weil sie den Gerechten um Geld und den Armen für ein Paar Schuhe verkaufen;

Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Israel and on four not I will revoke it because sold they for silver [the] righteous and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals.

7 weil sie nach dem Erdenstaub auf den Köpfen der Geringen gierig sind und die Wehrlosen vom Wege stoßen; weil Vater und Sohn zur Dirne gehen, um meinen heiligen Namen zu entheiligen;

Those [who] trample on [the] dust of [the] earth on [the] head of poor [people] and [the] way of humble [people] they turn aside and a man and father his they go into the young woman so as to profane [the] name of holiness my.

8 und auf Kleidern, die sie zum Pfand genommen, strecken sie sich aus neben jedem Altar und vertrinken Bußengelder im Hause ihrer Götter!

And on garments taken in pledge they stretch out beside every altar and [the] wine of fines they drink [the] house of god their.

9 Und doch habe ich den Amoriter vor ihnen her ausgerottet, der so hoch war wie die Zedern und so stark wie die Eichen; ich habe oben seine Frucht und unten seine Wurzel vertilgt;

And I I destroyed the Amorite[s] from before them who [was] like [the] height of cedars height his and [is] strong he like oaks and I destroyed fruit his above and roots his beneath.

10 und ich war es, der euch aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufgebracht und euch vierzig Jahre lang in der Wüste geleitet hat bis zur Einnahme des Landes der Amoriter;

And I I brought up you from [the] land of Egypt and I led you in the wilderness forty year[s] to take possession of [the] land of the Amorite[s].

11 und ich habe aus euren Söhnen Propheten erweckt und aus euren Jünglingen Nasiräer; oder ist es etwa nicht so, ihr Kinder Israel? spricht der HERR.

And I raised up some of sons your to prophets and some of young men your to Nazirites ¿ also not [is] this O people of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh.

12 Ihr aber gabt den Nasiräern Wein zu trinken und befahlt den Propheten: Ihr sollt nicht weissagen!

And you made drink the Nazirites wine and to the prophets you commanded saying not you must prophesy.

13 Seht, ich will eine Last auf euch legen, wie die eines Wagens, der voller Garben ist.

Here! I [am] about to make totter under you just as it totters the cart full itself cut grain.

14 Da wird dem Schnellen das Fliehen vergehen und dem Starken seine Kraft versagen, und der Held wird seine Seele nicht retten können,

And it will be lost a place of escape from a swift [person] and a strong [person] not he will make firm power his and a mighty [person] not he will save life his.

15 und der Bogenschütze wird nicht standhalten und der Leichtfüßige nicht entrinnen und der Richter seine Seele nicht erretten;

And [the] handler of the bow not he will stand and a [person] swift on feet his not he will save and [the] rider of the horse not he will save life his.

16 auch wer unter den Helden ein tapferes Herz hat, der wird nackt entfliehen, spricht der HERR.

And [the] [person] strong of heart his among the warriors naked he will flee on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
