2 Chronik 30

1 Und Hiskia sandte [Boten] an ganz Israel und Juda und schrieb auch Briefe an Ephraim und Manasse, daß sie zum Hause des HERRN nach Jerusalem kommen sollten, um dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, Passah zu feiern.

And he sent Hezekiah to all Israel and Judah and also letters he wrote to Ephraim and Manasseh to come to [the] house of Yahweh in Jerusalem to observe a passover to Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

2 Denn der König beschloß mit seinen Obersten und der ganzen Gemeinde zu Jerusalem, das Passah im zweiten Monat zu feiern;

And he had taken counsel the king and officials his and all the assembly in Jerusalem to observe the passover in the month second.

3 denn sie konnten es nicht zur bestimmten Zeit feiern, weil sich die Priester nicht in genügender Zahl geheiligt hatten und das Volk noch nicht in Jerusalem versammelt war.

For not they had been able to observe it at the time that for the priests not they had consecrated themselves to [what] [was] sufficiency and the people not they had gathered to Jerusalem.

4 Und der Beschluß gefiel dem König und der ganzen Gemeinde wohl.

And it was pleasing the thing in [the] eyes of the king and in [the] eyes of all the assembly.

5 Und sie verfaßten einen Aufruf, der in ganz Israel, von Beerseba bis Dan, verkündigt werden sollte, daß sie kämen, um dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, zu Jerusalem Passah zu halten; denn sie hatten es nicht in Menge gefeiert, wie es vorgeschrieben ist.

And they appointed a word to cause to pass a proclamation in all Israel from Beer Sheba and to Dan to come to observe a passover to Yahweh [the] God of Israel in Jerusalem for not to multitude they had done according to [what] is written.

6 Und die Läufer gingen mit den Briefen von der Hand des Königs und seiner Obersten durch ganz Israel und Juda und sprachen nach dem Befehl des Königs: Ihr Kinder Israel, kehret zurück zum HERRN, dem Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, so wird er sich zu den Entronnenen kehren, die euch aus der Hand der assyrischen Könige noch übriggeblieben sind,

And they went the runners with letters from [the] hand of the king and officials his in all Israel and Judah and according to [the] command of the king saying O people of Israel return to Yahweh [the] God of Abraham Isaac and Israel so he may return to the escaped remnant which remains to you from [the] hand of [the] kings of Assyria.

7 und seid nicht wie eure Väter und eure Brüder, die sich an dem HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter, versündigt haben, daß er sie der Verwüstung preisgab, wie ihr sehet!

And may not you be like fathers your and like brothers your who they acted unfaithfully against Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their and he made them into a horror just as you [are] seeing.

8 So seid nun nicht halsstarrig wie eure Väter, sondern reichet dem HERRN die Hand und kommt zu seinem Heiligtum, welches er auf ewig geheiligt hat, und dienet dem HERRN, eurem Gott, so wird sich die Glut seines Zorns von euch wenden.

Now may not you harden neck your like fathers your give a hand to Yahweh and come to sanctuary his which he has consecrated for ever and serve Yahweh God your so may it turn back from you [the] burning of anger his.

9 Denn wenn ihr zum HERRN zurückkehret, so werden eure Brüder und eure Söhne Barmherzigkeit finden vor denen, die sie gefangen halten, daß sie wieder in dieses Land zurückkehren. Denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist gnädig und barmherzig, und er wird das Angesicht nicht von euch wenden, wenn ihr euch zu ihm kehret!

For when return you to Yahweh relatives your and children your to compassion before captors their and to return to the land this for [is] gracious and compassionate Yahweh God your and not he will turn aside face from you if you will turn back to him.

10 Und die Läufer gingen von einer Stadt zur andern im Lande Ephraim und Manasse und bis nach Sebulon; aber jene verlachten sie und spotteten ihrer.

And they were the runners passing from city - to [the] city in [the] land of Ephraim and Manasseh and to Zebulun and people were laughing on them and mocking them.

11 Doch etliche von Asser und Manasse und Sebulon demütigten sich und kamen nach Jerusalem.

Nevertheless men from Asher and Manasseh and from Zebulun they humbled themselves and they came to Jerusalem.

12 Auch in Juda wirkte die Hand Gottes, daß er ihnen ein einmütiges Herz gab, des Königs und der Obersten Gebot zu erfüllen nach dem Wort des HERRN.

Also on Judah it was [the] hand of God to give to them a heart one to do [the] command of the king and the officials by [the] word of Yahweh.

13 So versammelte sich denn zu Jerusalem eine große Volksmenge, um das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote zu feiern im zweiten Monat, eine sehr große Gemeinde.

And they gathered Jerusalem a people numerous to observe [the] festival of the unleavened bread in the month second an assembly for multitude exceedingly.

14 Und sie machten sich auf und schafften die Altäre weg, die zu Jerusalem waren, auch alle Räucheraltäre beseitigten sie und warfen sie in den Bach Kidron.

And they arose and they removed the altars which [were] in Jerusalem and all the incense altars they removed and they threw [them] to [the] wadi of Kidron.

15 Dann schächteten sie das Passah am vierzehnten Tag des zweiten Monats. Und die Priester und Leviten schämten sich und heiligten sich und brachten Brandopfer zum Hause des HERRN;

And they slaughtered the passover on [day] four-teen of the month second and the priests and the Levites they were ashamed and they consecrated themselves and they brought burnt offerings [the] house of Yahweh.

16 und sie standen auf ihren Posten, wie es sich gebührt, nach dem Gesetze Moses, des Mannes Gottes. Und die Priester sprengten das Blut, [das sie empfingen], aus der Hand der Leviten.

And they stood at place their according to custom their according to [the] law of Moses [the] man of God the priests [were] sprinkling the blood from [the] hand of the Levites.

17 Denn es waren viele in der Gemeinde, die sich nicht geheiligt hatten; darum schächteten die Leviten die Passahlämmer für alle, die nicht rein waren, um sie dem HERRN zu heiligen.

For many among the assembly who not they had consecrated themselves and the Levites [were] over [the] slaughter of the passovers for every not clean to consecrate [them] to Yahweh.

18 Auch waren viele vom Volk, von Ephraim, Manasse, Issaschar und Sebulon, die sich nicht gereinigt hatten, so daß sie das Passah nicht aßen, wie es vorgeschrieben ist;

For [the] greater part of the people many from Ephraim and Manasseh Issachar and Zebulun not they had purified themselves for they ate the passover with not according to [what] is written for he had prayed Hezekiah on them saying Yahweh good may he make atonement for.

19 aber Hiskia betete für sie und sprach: Der HERR, der gütig ist, wolle allen denen vergeben, die ihr Herz darauf gerichtet haben, Gott zu suchen, den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Väter, auch wenn sie nicht die für das Heiligtum erforderliche Reinheit besitzen!

Every [one who] heart his he has directed to seek God - Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his and not according to [the] purification of the holy place.

20 Und der HERR erhörte Hiskia und heilte das Volk.

And he listened Yahweh to Hezekiah and he healed the people.

21 Also feierten die Kinder Israel, die sich zu Jerusalem befanden, das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage lang mit großer Freude. Und die Leviten und Priester lobten den HERRN alle Tage mit Instrumenten zum Preise des HERRN.

And they observed [the] people of Israel who were found (in Jerusalem *L(abh)*) [the] festival of the unleavened bread seven days with joy great and [were] praising Yahweh a day - in a day the Levites and the priests with instruments of strength to Yahweh.

22 Und Hiskia sprach allen Mut zu, welche sich verständig erwiesen in der Erkenntnis des HERRN; und sie aßen das [für das] Fest [Bestimmte], sieben Tage lang, und opferten Dankopfer und bekannten sich zum HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter.

And he spoke Hezekiah to [the] heart of all the Levites who were understanding understanding good to Yahweh and they ate the appointed feast [the] seven the days sacrificing sacrifices of peace offerings and giving thanks to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.

23 Und die ganze Gemeinde beschloß, noch weitere sieben Tage das Fest zu feiern, und so feierten sie noch sieben Tage lang ein Freudenfest;

And they took counsel all the assembly to observe seven days another and they observed seven days joy.

24 denn Hiskia, der König von Juda, spendete für die Gemeinde tausend Farren und zehntausend Schafe. Und es heiligten sich viele Priester.

For Hezekiah [the] king of Judah he contributed for the assembly one thousand young bulls and seven thousand sheep. And the officials they contributed for the assembly young bulls one thousand and sheep ten thousand and they consecrated themselves priests to multitude.

25 Und die ganze Gemeinde von Juda freute sich und die Priester und Leviten und die ganze Gemeinde, die aus Israel gekommen war, auch die Fremdlinge, die aus dem Lande Israel gekommen waren, und die in Juda wohnten.

And they rejoiced - all [the] assembly of Judah and the priests and the Levites and all the assembly which were coming from Israel and the sojourners who were coming from [the] land of Israel and who were dwelling in Judah.

26 Und es war große Freude zu Jerusalem; denn seit der Zeit Salomos, des Sohnes Davids, des Königs von Israel, war dergleichen nicht gewesen.

And it was joy great in Jerusalem for since [the] days of Solomon [the] son of David [the] king of Israel not like this in Jerusalem.

27 Und die Priester, die Leviten, standen auf und segneten das Volk, und ihr Rufen ward erhört, und ihr Gebet kam zu Seiner heiligen Wohnung, in den Himmel.

And they arose the priests the Levites and they blessed the people and it was listened to voice their and it came prayer their to [the] dwelling of holiness his to the heavens.
