2 Chronik 3
1 Und Salomo fing an, das Haus des HERRN zu bauen zu Jerusalem, auf dem Berge Morija, wo er seinem Vater David erschienen war, an dem Orte, welchen David bestimmt hatte, auf der Tenne Ornans, des Jebusiters.
And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where He had appeared unto David his father, on the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Er fing aber an zu bauen im zweiten Monat, am zweiten Tage, im vierten Jahre seiner Regierung.
And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Und also legte Salomo den Grund, das Haus Gottes zu bauen: die Länge betrug nach altem Maß sechzig Ellen und die Breite zwanzig Ellen.
Now in this manner was the foundation laid of the house of God [at its] building [by] Solomon: The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Die Halle aber, welche der ganzen Breite des Hauses entlang ging, war zwanzig Ellen lang und hundertzwanzig hoch. Er überzog sie inwendig mit lauterm Gold.
And the porch that was in the front of the length was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Das große Haus aber täfelte er mit Zypressenholz und überzog es mit gutem Gold und machte darauf Palmen und Kettenwerk
And the great house he ceiled with fir-wood, which he overlaid with pure gold, and he wrought thereon palm-trees and chains.
6 und überzog das Haus mit kostbaren Steinen zur Zierde; das Gold aber war Parvaimgold.
And he overlaid the house with costly stones for ornament: and the gold was gold of Parvayim.
7 Und er überzog das Haus, die Balken, die Schwellen, seine Wände und seine Türen mit Gold und ließ Cherubim an den Wänden einschnitzen.
And he covered the house, the beams, the sills, and its walls, and its doors, with gold: and he engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Er machte auch den Raum des Allerheiligsten: seine Länge war zwanzig Ellen, nach der Breite des Hauses; und seine Breite war auch zwanzig Ellen. Und er überzog es mit gutem Gold, [im Betrage von] sechshundert Talenten.
And he made the most holy house, its length being in front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits: and he covered it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
9 Und das Gewicht der Nägel betrug fünfzig Schekel Gold; er überzog auch die Söller mit Gold.
And the weight of the nails [amounted] to fifty shekels of gold. And the upper chambers he covered with gold.
10 Er machte im Raume des Allerheiligsten auch zwei Cherubim von Bildhauerarbeit und überzog sie mit Gold.
And he made in the most holy house two cherubim of sculpture work, and they overlaid them with gold.
11 Und die Länge der Flügel der Cherubim betrug [insgesamt] zwanzig Ellen; ein Flügel [des einen Cherubs], fünf Ellen lang, berührte die Wand des Raumes, und der andere Flügel, auch fünf Ellen lang, berührte den Flügel des anderen Cherubs.
And regarding the wings of the cherubim their length was twenty cubits; the wing of the one amounting to five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing of five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 Ebenso maß ein Flügel des zweiten Cherubs fünf Ellen und berührte die Wand des Raumes, und der andere Flügel, fünf Ellen lang, berührte den Flügel des anderen Cherubs,
And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits was joined closely to the wing of the other cherub.
13 so daß sich die Flügel dieser Cherubim zwanzig Ellen weit ausbreiteten. Und sie standen auf ihren Füßen, und ihre Angesichter waren einwärts gewandt.
The wings of these cherubim [as they were] spread out were twenty cubits: and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 Er machte auch einen Vorhang von blauem und rotem Purpur und Stoffen von Karmesinfarbe und feiner Baumwolle und brachte Cherubim darauf an.
And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought thereon cherubim.
15 Und er machte vor dem Hause zwei Säulen, fünfunddreißig Ellen hoch, und oben darauf einen Knauf, fünf Ellen hoch.
And he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits in length, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 Und er machte Kettenwerk und tat solches oben auf die Säulen und machte hundert Granatäpfel und tat sie an das Kettenwerk.
And he made chains in the debir; and [others which] he placed on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and placed them on the chains.
17 Und er richtete die Säulen vor dem Tempel auf, eine zur Rechten, die andere zur Linken; und er hieß die zur Rechten Jachin und die zur Linken Boas.
And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Bo'az.
