1 Samuel 29

1 Und die Philister versammelten ihr ganzes Heer zu Aphek; Israel aber lagerte sich an der Quelle in Jesreel.

And they gathered [the] Philistines all armies their Aphek towards and Israel [were] encamped at the spring which [is] in Jezreel.

2 Und die Fürsten der Philister zogen einher mit Hunderten und mit Tausenden; David aber und seine Männer bildeten die Nachhut mit Achis.

And [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] passing along to hundreds and to thousands and David and men his [were] passing along at the last with Achish.

3 Da sprachen die Fürsten der Philister: Was sollen diese Hebräer? Achis sprach zu ihnen: Ist nicht dieser David der Knecht Sauls, des König Israels, der nun schon Jahr und Tag bei mir gewesen ist und an dem ich nichts gefunden habe seit der Zeit, da er [von Saul] abgefallen ist, bis auf diesen Tag?

And they said [the] commanders of [the] Philistines what? [are] the Hebrews these and he said Achish to [the] commanders of [the] Philistines ¿ not [is] this David [the] servant of - Saul [the] king of Israel who he has been with me this days or this years and not I have found in him anything from [the] day fell he until the day this.

4 Aber die Fürsten der Philister wurden zornig auf ihn und sprachen zu ihm: Laß den Mann umkehren, daß er wieder an seinen Ort komme, dahin du ihn bestellt hast, daß er nicht mit uns zum Streit hinabziehe und im Streit unser Widersacher werde; denn womit könnte er seinem Herrn einen größeren Gefallen tun, als mit den Köpfen dieser Männer?

And they were angry towards him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines and they said to him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines send back the man so may he return to place his where you assigned him there and not he will go down with us in the battle and not he will become of us an adversary in the battle and how? will he make himself acceptable this one to master his ¿ not by [the] heads of the men those.

5 Ist er nicht derselbe David, von dem sie beim Reigen sangen und sprachen: Saul hat seine Tausend erschlagen, David aber seine Zehntausend!

¿ Not [is] this David whom people sing of him in dances saying he has struck down Saul thousands his and David (ten thousands his. *Q(K)*)

6 Da rief Achis David und sprach zu ihm: So wahr der HERR lebt, ich halte dich für aufrichtig, und dein Ausgang und Eingang mit mir im Heere gefällt mir wohl; denn ich habe nichts Arges an dir gefunden seit der Zeit, da du zu mir gekommen bist, bis auf diesen Tag; aber du gefällst den Fürsten nicht!

And he summoned Achish David and he said to him [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [are] upright you and [is] good in view my going out you and coming in you with me in the camp for not I have found in you evil from [the] day coming in you to me until the day this and in [the] eyes of the rulers not [are] good you.

7 So kehre nun um und gehe hin in Frieden, daß du nichts Übles tuest in den Augen der Philister!

And therefore turn back and go in peace and not you will do evil in [the] eyes of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines.

8 David aber sprach: Was habe ich denn getan, und was hast du an deinem Knechte gefunden seit der Zeit, da ich vor dir gewesen bin, bis auf diesen Tag, daß ich nicht kommen und wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Königs, streiten soll?

And he said David to Achish for what? have I done and what? have you found in servant your from [the] day when I was before you until the day this that not I will go and I will fight against [the] enemies of lord my the king.

9 Achis antwortete und sprach zu David: Ich weiß wohl, daß du meinen Augen gefällst wie ein Engel Gottes; aber der Philister Fürsten haben gesagt: Laß ihn nicht mit uns in den Streit hinaufziehen!

And he answered Achish and he said to David I know that [are] good you in view my like an angel of God nevertheless [the] commanders of [the] Philistines they have said not he will go up with us in battle.

10 So mache dich nun am Morgen früh auf samt den Knechten deines Herrn, die mit dir gekommen sind. Und wenn ihr euch am Morgen früh aufgemacht habt, so ziehet hin, sobald es hell ist!

And therefore rise early in the morning and [the] servants of master your who they have come with you and you will rise early in the morning and it will be light for you and go.

11 Also machten sich David und seine Männer früh auf, um am Morgen wegzugehen und wieder in der Philister Land zurückzukehren. Die Philister aber zogen hinauf gen Jesreel.

And he rose early David he and men his to go in the morning to return to [the] land of [the] Philistines and [the] Philistines they went up Jezreel.
