1 Koenige 11

1 Aber der König Salomo liebte viele ausländische Frauen neben der Tochter des Pharao: moabitische, ammonitische, edomitische, zidonische und hetitische,

And the king Solomon he loved women foreign many and [the] daughter of Pharaoh Moabite [women] Ammonite [women] Edomite [women] Sidonian [women] Hittite [women].

2 aus den Völkern, von denen der HERR den Kindern Israel gesagt hatte: Geht nicht zu ihnen und lasset sie nicht zu euch kommen, denn sie werden gewiß eure Herzen zu ihren Göttern neigen! An diesen hing Salomo mit Liebe.

From the nations which he had said Yahweh to [the] people of Israel not you must go among them and they not they will go among you truly they will turn aside heart your after gods their to them he cleaved Solomon to love [them].

3 Und er hatte siebenhundert fürstliche Frauen und dreihundert Nebenfrauen; und seine Frauen neigten sein Herz.

And it belonged to him wives noble ladies seven hundred and concubines three hundred and they turned aside wives his heart his.

4 Denn als Salomo alt war, neigten seine Frauen sein Herz fremden Göttern zu, daß sein Herz nicht mehr so vollkommen mit dem HERRN, seinem Gott, war wie das Herz seines Vaters David.

And it was to [the] time of [the] old age of Solomon wives his they turned aside heart his after gods other and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David father his.

5 Also lief Salomo der Astarte nach, der Gottheit der Zidonier, und Milkom, dem Greuel der Ammoniter.

And he walked Solomon after Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians and after Milcom [the] detestable thing of [the] Ammonites.

6 Und Salomo tat, was böse war in den Augen des HERRN, und folgte dem Herrn nicht gänzlich nach, wie sein Vater David.

And he did Solomon the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he filled after Yahweh like David father his.

7 Auch baute Salomo eine Höhe dem Kamos, dem Greuel der Moabiter, auf dem Berge, der vor Jerusalem liegt, und dem Moloch, dem Greuel der Kinder Ammon.

Then he built Solomon a high place for Chemosh [the] detestable thing of Moab on the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Jerusalem and for Molech [the] detestable thing of [the] people of Ammon.

8 Und ebenso tat er für alle seine ausländischen Frauen, die ihren Göttern räucherten und opferten.

And thus he did for all wives his foreign [who] made smoke and [who] sacrificed to gods their.

9 Aber der HERR ward zornig über Salomo, weil sein Herz sich abgewandt hatte von dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, der ihm zweimal erschienen war,

And he was angry Yahweh with Solomon for it had turned aside heart his from with Yahweh [the] God of Israel who had appeared to him two times.

10 ja, der ihm gerade darüber Befehl gegeben hatte, daß er nicht andern Göttern nachwandeln solle; aber er beachtete nicht, was ihm der HERR geboten hatte.

And he had commanded to him on the matter this to not to walk after gods other and not he observed [that] which he had commanded Yahweh.

11 Darum sprach der HERR zu Salomo: Weil solches von dir geschehen ist und du meinen Bund nicht bewahrt hast, noch meine Satzungen, die ich dir geboten habe, so will ich dir gewiß das Königreich entreißen und es deinem Knechte geben.

And he said Yahweh to Solomon because that it has been this with you and not you have observed covenant my and statutes my which I commanded to you certainly I will tear away the kingdom from with you and I will give it to servant your.

12 Doch zu deiner Zeit will ich es nicht tun, um deines Vaters David willen; der Hand deines Sohnes will ich es entreißen.

Only in days your not I will do it for [the] sake of David father your from [the] hand of son your I will tear away it.

13 Nur will ich ihm nicht das ganze Reich entreißen; einen Stamm will ich deinem Sohne geben, um meines Knechtes David und um Jerusalems willen, die ich erwählt habe.

Only all the kingdom not I will tear away a tribe one I will give to son your for [the] sake of David servant my and for [the] sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.

14 Und der HERR erweckte dem Salomo einen Widersacher, Hadad, den Edomiter, er war vom königlichen Samen in Edom.

And he raised up Yahweh an adversary to Solomon Hadad the Edomite [was] one of [the] offspring the king he in Edom.

15 Denn als David in Edom war, und als Joab, der Feldhauptmann, hinaufzog, um die Erschlagenen zu begraben, erschlug er, was männlich war in Edom.

And it was when was David Edom when went up Joab [the] commander of the army to bury the [ones] slain and he struck down every male in Edom.

16 Denn Joab blieb sechs Monate lang daselbst mit ganz Israel, bis er alles ausgerottet hatte, was in Edom männlich war.

For six months he remained there Joab and all Israel until he had cut off every male in Edom.

17 Da floh Hadad und mit ihm etliche Edomiter von den Knechten seines Vaters, um nach Ägypten zu gehen; Hadad aber war noch ein kleiner Knabe.

And he fled Hadad he and people Edomite some of [the] servants of father his with him to go Egypt and Hadad [was] a youth young.

18 Und sie machten sich auf von Midian und kamen gen Paran, nahmen Leute mit sich aus Paran und kamen nach Ägypten zum Pharao, dem König von Ägypten; der gab ihm ein Haus, versprach ihm Nahrung und gab ihm Land.

And they arose from Midian and they went Paran and they took men with them from Paran and they went Egypt to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he gave to him a house and food he assigned to him and land he gave to him.

19 Und Hadad fand große Gnade beim Pharao, so daß er ihm auch seiner Gemahlin Schwester, die Schwester der Gebieterin Tachpenes, zum Weibe gab.

And he found Hadad favor in [the] eyes of Pharaoh exceedingly and he gave to him a wife [the] sister of own wife his [the] sister of Tahpenes the queen.

20 Und die Schwester der Tachpenes gebar ihm Genubat, seinen Sohn, und Tachpenes zog ihn auf im Hause des Pharao, so daß Genubat im Hause des Pharao unter den Kindern des Pharao war.

And she bore to him [the] sister of Tahpenes Genubath son his and she weaned him Tahpenes in [the] midst of [the] household of Pharaoh and he was Genubath [the] house of Pharaoh in among [the] sons of Pharaoh.

21 Als nun Hadad in Ägypten hörte, daß David sich zu seinen Vätern gelegt habe, und daß Joab, der Feldhauptmann, tot sei, sprach Hadad zum Pharao: Laß mich in mein Land ziehen!

And Hadad he heard in Egypt that he had lain down David with ancestors his and that he had died Joab [the] commander of the army and he said Hadad to Pharaoh let go me so I may go to own land my.

22 Der Pharao sprach zu ihm: Was mangelt dir bei mir, daß du in dein Land ziehen willst? Er sprach: Nichts; aber laß mich gehen!

And he said to him Pharaoh that what? [are] you lacking with me and here you [are] seeking to go to own land your and he said - In-deed really you will let go me.

23 Und Gott erweckte ihm noch einen Widersacher, Reson, den Sohn Eljadas, der von seinem Herrn Hadad-Eser, dem König zu Zoba, geflohen war.

And he raised up God to him an adversary Rezon [the] son of Eliada who he had fled from with Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah master his.

24 Der sammelte Männer um sich und war Rottenführer, als David sie schlug; und sie zogen nach Damaskus und wohnten daselbst und regierten zu Damaskus.

And he gathered with him men and he was [the] leader of a marauding band when killed David them and they went Damascus and they dwelt in it and they reigned in Damascus.

25 Und er war Israels Widersacher, solange Salomo lebte, außer dem Übel, das Hadad tat; und er hatte einen Widerwillen gegen Israel und wurde König über Syrien.

And he was an adversary of Israel all [the] days of Solomon and harm which Hadad and he loathed Israel and he reigned over Aram.

26 Auch Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, ein Ephraimiter von Zareda, Salomos Knecht, dessen Mutter, eine Witwe, Zeruha hieß, erhob die Hand wider den König.

And Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat an Ephrathite from Zeredah and [the] name of mother his [was] Zeruah a woman a widow a servant of Solomon and he raised a hand on the king.

27 Und dies ist der Anlaß, bei welchem er die Hand wider den König erhob: Salomo baute Millo und schloß [damit] eine Lücke an der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters.

And this [is] the reason why he raised a hand on the king Solomon he built the Millo he closed up [the] breach of [the] city of David father his.

28 Nun war Jerobeam ein tüchtiger Mann; als aber Salomo sah, daß der Jüngling arbeitsam war, setzte er ihn über alle Lastträger des Hauses Josephs.

And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty [man] of strength and he saw Solomon the young man that [was] doing work he and he appointed him to all [the] forced labor of [the] house of Joseph.

29 Es begab sich aber zu jener Zeit, als Jerobeam aus Jerusalem wegging, fand ihn der Prophet Achija von Silo auf dem Wege; der hatte einen neuen Mantel an, und sie waren beide allein auf dem Felde.

And it was at the time that and Jeroboam he had gone out from Jerusalem and he found him Ahijah Shilonite the prophet on the way and he [was] covering himself with a cloak new and [the] two of them to alone them [were] in the open country.

30 Und Achija faßte den neuen Mantel, den er anhatte, und zerriß ihn in zwölf Stücke

And he seized Ahijah the cloak new which [was] on him and he tore it two [plus] ten pieces.

31 und sprach zu Jerobeam: Nimm die zehn Stücke! Denn also spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will das Königreich der Hand Salomos entreißen und dir zehn Stämme geben.

And he said to Jeroboam take for yourself ten pieces for thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to tear the kingdom from [the] hand of Solomon and I will give to you ten the tribes.

32 Einen Stamm soll er haben, um meines Knechtes David und um der Stadt Jerusalem willen, die ich aus allen Stämmen Israels erwählt habe;

And the tribe one it will belong to him for [the] sake of - servant my David and for [the] sake of Jerusalem the city which I have chosen it from all [the] tribes of Israel.

33 darum, weil sie mich verlassen und Astarte, die Gottheit der Zidonier, Kamos, den Gott der Moabiter, und Milkom, den Gott der Ammoniter, angebetet haben und nicht in meinen Wegen gewandelt sind, um zu tun, was in meinen Augen recht ist, nach meinen Satzungen und Rechten, wie sein Vater David getan hat.

Because - that they have forsaken me and they have bowed down to Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians to Chemosh [the] god of Moab and to Milcom [the] god of [the] people of Ammon and not they have walked in ways my by doing the right in view my and statutes my and judgments my like David father his.

34 Doch will ich nicht das ganze Reich aus seiner Hand nehmen, sondern ich will ihn als Fürst belassen sein Leben lang, um meines Knechtes David willen, den ich erwählt habe, der meine Gebote und Satzungen beobachtet hat.

And not I will take all the kingdom from hand his for - ruler I will make him all [the] days of life his for [the] sake of David servant my whom I chose him who he observed commandments my and statutes my.

35 Aber ich will das Königreich aus der Hand seines Sohnes nehmen und dir zehn Stämme geben;

And I will take the kingship from [the] hand of son his and I will give it to you [the] ten the tribes.

36 und will seinem Sohn einen Stamm geben, daß mein Knecht David immerdar vor mir eine Leuchte habe in der Stadt Jerusalem, die ich mir erwählt habe, um meinen Namen dahin zu setzen.

And to son his I will give a tribe one so as to belong a lamp to David servant my all the days - before me in Jerusalem the city which I have chosen for myself to put name my there.

37 So will ich nun dich nehmen, und du sollst regieren über alles, was dein Herz begehrt und König sein über Israel.

And you I will take and you will reign over all that it will desire self your and you will be king over Israel.

38 Wirst du nun allem gehorchen, was ich dir gebieten werde, und in meinen Wegen wandeln und tun, was in meinen Augen recht ist, daß du meine Satzungen und meine Gebote beobachtest, wie mein Knecht David getan hat, so will ich mit dir sein und dir ein beständiges Haus bauen, wie ich es David gebaut habe, und will dir Israel geben.

And it will be if you will listen to all that I will command you and you will walk in ways my and you will do the right in view my by observing statutes my and commandments my just as he did David servant my and I will be with you and I will build for you a house enduring just as I built for David and I will give to you Israel.

39 Und ich will den Samen Davids um deswillen demütigen, doch nicht immerdar!

So I may afflicted [the] offspring of David on account of this nevertheless not all the days.

40 Salomo aber trachtete, Jerobeam zu töten; da machte sich Jerobeam auf und floh nach Ägypten zu Sisak, dem König von Ägypten, und verblieb in Ägypten, bis Salomo starb.

And he sought Solomon to put to death Jeroboam and he arose Jeroboam and he fled Egypt to Shishak [the] king of Egypt and he was in Egypt until [the] death of Solomon.

41 Was aber mehr von Salomo zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, und seine Weisheit, ist das nicht geschrieben im Buche der Geschichte Salomos?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon and all that he did and wisdom his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of Solomon.

42 Die Zeit aber, während welcher Salomo über ganz Israel zu Jerusalem regierte, beträgt vierzig Jahre.

And the days which he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel [were] forty year[s].

43 Und Salomo entschlief mit seinen Vätern und ward begraben in der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters; und Rehabeam, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.

And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
