1 Chronik 9
1 Ganz Israel aber wurde nach seinen Geschlechtern verzeichnet, und siehe, sie sind eingeschrieben im Buche der Könige von Israel. Und Juda ward nach Babel weggeführt um seiner Untreue willen.
So all Israel were recorded by their genealogies, and, behold, they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel; but [the men of] Judah were carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
2 Und die früheren Einwohner, die in ihrem Eigentum, in ihren Städten wohnten, waren Israeliten, die Priester, die Leviten und die Tempeldiener.
And the first inhabitants that [dwelt again] in their possessions in their cities, were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple-servants.
3 Und zu Jerusalem wohnten von den Kindern Juda und von den Kindern Benjamin und von den Kindern Ephraim und Manasse:
And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Menasseh.
4 Utai, der Sohn Ammihuds, des Sohnes Omris, des Sohnes Imris, des Sohnes Banis, von den Söhnen des Perez, des Sohnes Judas.
'Uthai the son of 'Ammihud, the son of 'Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5 Und von den Schilonitern: Asaja, der Erstgeborene, und seine Söhne.
And of the Shilonites: 'Assayah the first-born, and his sons.
6 Und von den Söhnen Serahs: Jeuel und seine Brüder, 690.
And of the sons of Zerach: Je'uel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 Und von den Kindern Benjamin: Sallu, der Sohn Meschullams, des Sohnes Hodawjas, des Sohnes Hassenuas;
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 und Jibneja, der Sohn Jerochams, und Ela, der Sohn Ussis, des Sohnes Michris, und Meschullam, der Sohn Sephatjas, des Sohnes Reguels, des Sohnes Jibnijas;
And Yibneyah the son of Jerocham, and Elah the son of 'Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatyah, the son of Re'uel, the son of Yibniyah;
9 und ihre Brüder nach ihren Geschlechtern, 956. Alle diese Männer waren Stammhäupter ihrer Stammhäuser.
And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chiefs of the divisions of their family divisions.
10 Und von den Priestern: Jedaja und Jojarib und Jachin, und Asarja,
And of the priests: Jeda'yah, and Jehoyarib, and Jachin.
11 der Sohn Hilkijas, des Sohnes Meschullams, des Sohnes Zadoks, des Sohnes Merajots, des Sohnes Achitubs, Vorsteher des Hauses Gottes;
And 'Azaryah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Actitub, the ruler of the house of God.
12 und Adaja, der Sohn Jerochams, des Sohnes Paschhurs, des Sohnes Malkijas, und Maasai, der Sohn Adiels, des Sohnes Jachseras, des Sohnes Meschullams, des Sohnes Meschillemits, des Sohnes Immers;
And 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma'sai the son of 'Adiel, the son of Jachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer:
13 und ihre Brüder, Häupter ihrer Stammhäuser: 1760, wackere Männer im Geschäft des Dienstes des Hauses Gottes.
And their brethren, chiefs of their family divisions, were one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Und von den Leviten: Schemaja, der Sohn Chaschubs, des Sohnes Asrikams, des Sohnes Chaschabjas, von den Söhnen Meraris;
And of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, of the sons of Merari;
15 und Bakbakar, Cheresch, Galal und Mattanja, der Sohn Michas, des Sohnes Sichris, des Sohnes Asaphs;
And Bakbakkar, Cheresh, and Galal, and Matthanyah the son of Micha, the son of Zichri, the son of Assaph;
16 und Obadja, der Sohn Schemajas, des Sohnes Galals, des Sohnes Jedutuns; und Berechja, der Sohn Asas, des Sohnes Elkanas, der da wohnte in den Dörfern der Netophatiter.
And 'Obadiah the son of Shema'yah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechyah the son of Assa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 Und die Torhüter: Schallum und Akkub und Talmon und Achiman und ihre Brüder; Schallum war das Haupt;
And the gatekeepers were Shallum, and 'Akkub, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brethren, Shallum being the chief;
18 und bis jetzt sind sie am Königstore gegen Aufgang, sie, die Torhüter des Lagers der Kinder Levi.
And up to this time they are in the king's gate to the eastward: they are the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
19 Und Schallum, der Sohn Kores, des Sohnes Ebjasaphs, des Sohnes Korahs, und seine Brüder vom Hause seines Vaters, die Korahiter, waren bei der Besorgung des Dienstes Schwellenhüter des Zeltes, und ihre Väter waren im Lager des HERRN Hüter des Eingangs gewesen.
And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korchites, being over the work of the service, were the watchmen at the threshold of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the camp of the Lord, were the watchmen at the entrance [thereof].
20 Und Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, war vor Zeiten Fürst über sie; der HERR sei mit ihm!
And Phinehas the son of El'azar was the ruler over them in times past; [and] the Lord was with him.
21 Secharja, der Sohn Meschelemjas, war Torhüter an der Tür der Stiftshütte.
[And] Zechariah the son of Meshelemyah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 Die Gesamtzahl derer, die auserlesen waren zu Torhütern an den Schwellen, betrug 212. Sie wurden in ihren Dörfern eingetragen; David und Samuel, der Seher, hatten sie eingesetzt in ihre Vertrauensstellung.
All of these selected to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were recorded according to their genealogy in their villages; [and they were] those [whom] David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their trust.
23 Und sie und ihre Söhne hielten an den Toren des Hauses des HERRN, an der Zeltwohnung, Wache.
Both they and their children had the oversight over the gates of the house of the Lord, [namely, ] the house of the tabernacle, as watches.
24 Nach den vier Winden sollten die Torhüter stehen, gegen Aufgang, gegen Abend, gegen Mitternacht und gegen Mittag.
On four quarters were the gatekeepers, toward the east, the west, the north, and the south.
25 Und ihre Brüder in ihren Dörfern hatten je für sieben Tage, von Termin zu Termin, zu ihnen zu kommen.
And their brethren, who were in their villages, had to come after every seven days from time to time in common with these.
26 Denn sie hatten einen Vertrauensposten, die vier Vorsteher der Türhüter; sie waren Leviten; sie waren auch über die Zellen und über die Schätze des Hauses Gottes gesetzt.
For in [their] trust were these four chief gatekeepers— these Levites, and they were [appointed] over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27 Und sie übernachteten in der Umgebung des Hauses Gottes; denn ihnen lag die Wache ob, und sie hatten jeden Morgen aufzuschließen.
And they lodged round about the house of God; because upon them rested the duty of watching, and they had the supervision of the opening thereof each and every morning.
28 Und etliche von ihnen waren [bestellt] über die Geräte des [Gottes-]Dienstes; denn abgezählt brachten sie sie hinein, und nach der Zahl taten sie sie heraus.
And some of them had the charge of the vessels for the service; for by number did they bring them in, and by number did they carry them out.
29 Und etliche von ihnen waren über die Geräte gesetzt, über alle heiligen Geräte und über das Feinmehl und den Wein und das Öl und den Weihrauch und die Spezereien.
Some of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Und etliche von den Söhnen der Priester mischten Salböl für die Spezereien.
And some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixture of the spices.
31 Und dem Mattitja aus den Leviten (er war der Erstgeborene Schallums, des Korahiters), war das Pfannen-Backwerk anvertraut.
And Matthithyah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korchite, had the trust over the meat-offerings that were baked in the pans.
32 Und etliche von den Kindern der Kahatiter, von ihren Brüdern, waren über die Schaubrote gesetzt, sie zuzurichten, Sabbat für Sabbat.
And others of their brethren, of the sons of the Kehathites, were over the orders of the shew-bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 Und jene, die Sänger, Stammhäupter der Leviten, wohnten frei in den Zellen; denn Tag und Nacht liegt ihnen der Dienst ob.
But these the singers, the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, remained in the chambers free of service; for day and night were they obliged to engage in that work.
34 Das sind die Stammhäupter der Leviten, nach ihren Geschlechtern, Oberhäupter; diese wohnten zu Jerusalem.
These are the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, being the chiefs for their generations: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35 Und zu Gibeon wohnten: der Vater Gibeons, Jeiel; sein Weib hieß Maacha.
And in Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, Je'iel; and the name of his wife was Ma'achah;
36 Und sein Sohn, der Erstgeborene, war Abdon, und Zur und Kis und Baal und Ner und Nadab
And his first-born son was 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 und Gedor und Achjo und Sacharja und Miklot.
And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Und Miklot zeugte Schimeam, und auch diese wohnten ihren Brüdern gegenüber zu Jerusalem, bei ihren Brüdern.
And Mikloth begat Shimam. And they also dwelt alongside of their brethren at Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 Und Ner zeugte Kis und Kis zeugte Saul, und Saul zeugte Jonatan und Malkischua und Abinadab und Eschbaal.
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jehonathan, and Malki-shua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
40 Und der Sohn Jonatans war Meribbaal, und Meribbaal zeugte Micha.
And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al: and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
41 Und die Söhne Michas: Piton und Melech und Tachrea, [und Achas].
And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Thachrea'.
42 Und Achas zeugte Jara, und Jara zeugte Alemet und Asmavet und Simri, und Simri zeugte Moza.
And Achaz begat Ja'rah; and Ja'rah begat 'Alemeth, 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43 Moza zeugte Binea, und dessen Sohn war Rephaja, dessen Sohn Elasa, dessen Sohn Azel.
And Moza begat Bin'a; ! and Rephayah his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
44 Und Azel hatte sechs Söhne, und das sind ihre Namen: Asrikam, Bochru, Jismael, Schearja, Obadja und Chanan. Das waren die Söhne Azels.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan: these were the sons of Azel.
