1 Chronik 26

1 Von den Abteilungen der Torhüter: Unter den Korahitern war Meschelemja, der Sohn Kores, aus den Söhnen Asaphs.

To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;

2 Die Söhne Meschelemjas aber waren diese: Der Erstgeborene Sacharja, der zweite Jediael, der dritte Sebadja, der vierte Jatniel,

and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;

3 der fünfte Elam, der sechste Johanan, der siebente Eljoenai.

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.

4 Die Söhne Obed-Edoms aber waren diese: Der Erstgeborene Semaja, der zweite Josabad, der dritte Joach, der vierte Sakar, der fünfte Netaneel,

And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;

5 der sechste Ammiel, der siebente Issaschar, der achte Peulletai: denn Gott hatte ihn gesegnet.

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.

6 Und seinem Sohn Semaja wurden auch Söhne geboren, die Häupter ihrer Familien wurden; denn sie waren tüchtige Leute.

And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.

7 So waren nun die Söhne Semajas: Otni, Rephael, Obed und Elsabad, dessen Brüder wackere Leute waren, Elihu und Semachja.

the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.

8 Alle diese waren aus den Söhnen Obed-Edoms, sie und ihre Söhne und Brüder, wackere Leute, tauglich zu Ämtern, zusammen zweiundsechzig von Obed-Edom.

All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.

9 Und Meschelemja hatte Söhne und Brüder, wackere Leute, achtzehn.

And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.

10 Chosa aber, aus den Söhnen Meraris, hatte Söhne; Simri war das Oberhaupt; wiewohl er nicht der Erstgeborene war, so setzte ihn doch sein Vater zum Haupt;

And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.

11 der zweite Hilkja, der dritte Tebalja, der vierte Sacharja. Aller Söhne und Brüder Chosas waren dreizehn.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.

12 Diesen Abteilungen der Torhüter, und zwar den Mannschaftshäuptern, fielen gleich wie ihren Brüdern Ämter zu, die sie im Hause des HERRN zu versehen hatten.

To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.

13 Und sie warfen das Los nach ihren Vaterhäusern, den kleinen sowohl als den großen, für jedes Tor.

Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.

14 Das Los für das Tor gegen Osten fiel auf Selemja; und für seinen Sohn Sacharja, der ein kluger Ratgeber war, warf man das Los, das fiel für ihn gegen Norden.

And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.

15 Für Obed-Edom aber gegen Süden, und für seine Söhne bei dem Vorratshause;

To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.

16 für Schuppim und Chosa gegen Westen, beim Tor Schalleket, an der oberen Straße; eine Wache neben der andern.

To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.

17 Gegen Osten waren sechs Leviten; gegen Norden täglich vier, gegen Süden täglich vier und bei dem Vorratshause je zwei;

Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.

18 am Parbar, gegen Westen, vier an der Straße und zwei am Parbar.

For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.

19 Dies ist die Verteilung der Tore unter die Söhne der Korahiter und die Söhne Meraris.

These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.

20 Und die Leviten, ihre Brüder, waren über die Schätze des Hauses Gottes und über die Schätze der geweihten Dinge.

And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.

21 Die Söhne Laedans, die Söhne des Gersoniters, die Familienhäupter Laedans, des Gersoniters, waren die Jechieliter.

The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;

22 Die Söhne Jechiels, Setam und dessen Bruder Joel, waren über die Schätze des Hauses des HERRN.

the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.

23 Von den Amramitern, Jizharitern, Hebronitern und Ussielitern war Schebuel,

Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.

24 der Sohn Gersoms, des Sohnes Moses, Fürst über die Schätze.

And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.

25 Und seine Brüder von Elieser: dessen Sohn war Rechabja, dessen Sohn war Jesaja, dessen Sohn war Joran, dessen Sohn war Sichri, dessen Sohn war Schelomit.

And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.

26 Dieser Schelomit und seine Brüder waren über alle Schätze der geweihten Gegenstände, welche der König David und die Familienhäupter und die Obersten der Tausendschaften und Hundertschaften und die Heerführer geweiht hatten

The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:

27 von den Kriegen und von der Beute hatten sie sie geweiht, um das Haus des HERRN zu unterstützen,

out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.

28 auch über alles, was Samuel, der Seher, und Saul, der Sohn des Kis, und Abner, der Sohn Ners, und Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, geweiht hatten; alles Geweihte war unter der Aufsicht Schelomits und seiner Brüder.

And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.

29 Von den Jizharitern waren Kenanja und seine Söhne als Amtleute und Richter über Israel bestellt für das auswärtige Geschäft.

Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.

30 Von den Hebronitern aber standen Chasabja und seine Brüder, 1700 wackere Männer, der Verwaltung Israels vor, diesseits des Jordan, gegen Westen, für alle Angelegenheiten des HERRN und zum Dienste des Königs.

Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.

31 Von den Hebronitern war Jerija das Oberhaupt der Hebroniter, ihrer Geschlechter und Familien. Im vierzigsten Jahre des Königreichs Davids wurde nach ihnen gesucht, und man fand unter ihnen wackere Männer zu Jaeser in Gilead,

Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;

32 und seine Brüder, wackere Leute, 2700 Familienhäupter; die setzte der König David über die Rubeniter, Gaditer und den halben Stamm Manasse, für alle Angelegenheiten Gottes und des Königs.

and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
