1 Chronik 14
1 Und Hiram, der König von Tyrus, sandte Boten zu David, und Zedernholz und Maurer und Zimmerleute, damit sie ihm ein Haus bauten.
And he sent (Huram *Q(K)*) [the] king of Tyre messengers to David and wood of cedar and craftsmen of a wall and craftsmen of wood to build for him a house.
2 Da erkannte David, daß der HERR ihn zum König über Israel bestätigt hatte; denn sein Königreich ward hoch erhaben um seines Volkes Israel willen.
And he knew David that he had appointed him Yahweh to king over Israel that [was] exalted upwards kingdom his for sake of people his Israel.
3 Und David nahm noch mehr Frauen zu Jerusalem und zeugte noch mehr Söhne und Töchter.
And he took David again wives in Jerusalem and he fathered David again sons and daughters.
4 Und dies sind die Namen derer, die ihm zu Jerusalem geboren wurden: Sammua, Sobab, Natan, Salomo,
And these [are] [the] names of the [ones] born who they belonged to him in Jerusalem Shammua and Shobab Nathan and Solomon.
5 Jibchar, Elischua, Eliphelet,
And Ibhar and Elishua and Elpelet.
6 Noga, Nepheg, Japhia,
And Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia.
7 Elischama, Beeljada und Eliphelet.
And Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet.
8 Als aber die Philister hörten, daß David zum König über ganz Israel gesalbt worden war, zogen alle Philister hinauf, um David zu suchen. Als David solches hörte, zog er ihnen entgegen.
And they heard [the] Philistines that he had been anointed David to king over all Israel and they went up all [the] Philistines to seek David and he heard David and he went out before them.
9 Und die Philister kamen und ließen sich nieder im Tal Rephaim.
And [the] Philistines they had come and they had made a raid in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.
10 David aber befragte Gott und sprach: Soll ich wider die Philister hinaufziehen, und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Der HERR sprach zu ihm: Ziehe hinauf, ich habe sie in deine Hand gegeben!
And he enquired David by God saying ¿ will I go up on ([the] Philistines *Q(k)*) and will you give? them in hand my and he said to him Yahweh go up and I will give them in hand your.
11 Und als sie gen Baal-Perazim hinaufzogen, schlug sie David daselbst. Und David sprach: Gott hat durch meine Hand meine Feinde zerrissen, wie die Wasser [Dämme] zerreißen. Daher hießen sie jenen Ort Baal-Perazim.
And they went up at Baal Perazim and he struck down them there David and he said David he has burst out against God enemies my by hand my like a bursting out of water there-fore people called [the] name of the place that Baal Perazim.
12 Und sie ließen ihre Götter daselbst zurück; da ließ sie David mit Feuer verbrennen.
And they abandoned there gods their and he spoke David and they were burned with fire.
13 Aber die Philister breiteten sich nochmals im Tale aus.
And they repeated again [the] Philistines and they made a raid in the valley.
14 Und David befragte Gott abermals. Und Gott sprach zu ihm: Du sollst nicht hinter ihnen her hinaufziehen, sondern wende dich von ihnen ab, daß du von den Balsamstauden her an sie herankommest!
And he enquired again David by God and he said to him God not you will go up after them go around from on them and you will come to them from [the] front of the balsam trees.
15 Wenn du alsdann in den Wipfeln der Balsamstauden das Geräusch eines Einherschreitens hören wirst, so ziehe aus zum Streit; denn Gott ist daselbst vor dir ausgezogen, das Heer der Philister zu schlagen.
So may it be when hearing you [the] sound of marching in [the] tops of the balsam trees then you will go out in battle for he has gone out God before you to strike down [the] camp of [the] Philistines.
16 Und David tat, wie Gott ihm geboten hatte. Und sie schlugen das Heer der Philister von Gibeon an bis gen Geser.
And he did David just as he had commanded him God and they struck down [the] camp of [the] Philistines from Gibeon and to Gezer.
17 Und Davids Ruhm ging aus in alle Lande, und der HERR ließ Furcht vor ihm über alle Heiden kommen.
And it went out [the] name of David in all the lands and Yahweh he put dread of him on all the nations.
