Matthaeus 13
1 An jenem Tage aber ging Jesus hinaus aus dem Haufen, und setzte sich an den See.
Now on the same day, Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the sea-side:
2 Und es versammelten sich zu ihm viele Volkshaufen, so daß er in das Boot trat, und sich setzte, und alles Volk stand am Ufer.
and many people were gathered together to bear Him, so that He went into a ship and sat down, and all the multitude stood upon the shore; and He spake to them many things in parables,
3 Und er redete vieles zu ihnen in Gleichnissen, und sprach: Siehe, es ging der Säemann aus, zu säen.
saying, "Behold a sower went out to sow;
4 Und indem er säete, fiel etliches an den Weg, und es kamen die Vögel, und fraßen es auf.
and as he was sowing, some seeds fell by the way-side, and the birds came and ate them up:
5 Anderes fiel auf das Felsigte, wo es nicht viel Erde hatte, und ging bald auf, darum daß es nicht tiefe Erde hatte.
some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and they soon sprung up indeed, because they had no depth of earth;
6 Als aber die Sonne aufging, ward es versengt, und weil es nicht Wurzeln hatte, verdorrte es.
but when the sun rose, they were burnt up, and withered; because they had no root:
7 Anderes aber fiel auf die Dornen; und die Dornen schlossen auf und erstickten es.
and others fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them:
8 Anderes aber fiel auf die gute Erde, und gab Frucht, das hunderfältig, das sechzigfältig, das dreißigfältig.
but others fell on good ground, and yielded fruit, some an hundred-fold, some sixty, and some thirty.
9 Wer Ohren hat zu hören, der höre.
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."
10 Und er kamen die Jünger herbei, und sagten zu ihm: Warum sprichst du in Gleichnissen zu ihnen?
And the disciples came to Him and said, Why dost thou speak to them in parables?
11 Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Euch ist gegeben zu wissen die Gleichnisse der Himmelsherrschaft, jenen aber ist es nicht gegeben.
And He answered them, saying, Because it is granted unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not granted:
12 Denn wer da hat, dem wird gegeben werden, und wird Überfluß haben; wer aber nicht hat, von dem wird auch, was er hat, genommen werden.
for whosoever really hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundantly; but whosoever thus hath not, even that which he hath, shall be taken away from him:
13 Darum rede ich in Gleichnissen zu ihnen, weil sie sehend nicht sehen, und hörend nicht hören, noch verstehen.
for this reason I speak to them in parables; because though they see, they will not see; and though they hear, they will not hear, nor understand.
14 Und an ihnen wird erfüllt die Weissagung Jesaias, die da sagt: Mit dem Gehör werdet ihr hören, und doch nicht verstehen, und sehend werdet ihr sehen, und doch nicht wahrnehmen.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, Ye shall hear by the hearing of the ear, and not understand; and in seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: for the heart of this people is grown stupid,
15 Denn das Herz dieses Volkes ist verstockt, und an den Ohren sind sie schwerhörig geworden, und ihre Augen haben sie verschleiert, so daß sie mit den Augen nicht sehen, und mit den Ohren nicht hören, und mit dem Herzen nicht verstehen, und sich bekehren, und ich sie dann heilen würde.
and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; least they should see at all with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
16 Eure Augen aber sind selig, daß sie sehen, und eure Ohren, daß sie hören.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear:
17 Denn, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Viele Propheten und Gerechte haben verlangt zu sehen, was ihr sehet, und haben es nicht geschaut, und zu hören, was ihr hört, und haben es nicht gehört.
for indeed I tell you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear what ye hear, and have not heard them.
18 Ihr nun, höret das Gleichnis des Säemanns.
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the gospel-kingdom,
19 Bei jedem, der das Wort von der (Himmels) Herrschaft hört, und es nicht versteht, kommt der Böse, und raubt weg, was in seinem Herzen gesäet ist; dieser ist der an den Weg Gesäete.
and regardeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and snatcheth away that which was sown in his heart: this is he who received the seed as by the way-side.
20 Der auf das Felsigte Gesäete ist der, welcher das Wort hört, und es gleich mit Freuden aufnimmt,
And he who received the seed as upon stony grounds, is one that heareth the word and immediately receiveth it with joy:
21 Aber hat nicht Wurzel in sich, sondern ist unbeständig; wenn dann Trübsal, oder Verfolgung, um des Wortes willen kommt, so fällt er sogleich am Anstoß.
yet hath he no root in himself, and therefore is but for a short season; and when affliction cometh, or persecution on account of the word, he is as soon disgusted.
22 Der in die Dornen Gesäete aber ist, der das Wort hört, und die Sorge des Weltlaufs, und der Betrug des Reichtums erstickt das Wort, und es bleibt fruchtlos. (aiōn g165)
And he that received the seed among the thorns, is one that likewise heareth the word; but the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches choketh the word, and so it becometh unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Der auf das gute Land Gesäete aber ist, der das Wort hört, und versteht, der bringt dann Frucht: hundertfältig, oder sechzigfältig, oder dreißigfältig.
But he who received the seed into good ground, is one that heareth and understandeth the word, who indeed beareth fruit, and yieldeth, like fertile lands, some an hundred-fold, some sixty, some thirty.
24 Ein anderes Gleichnis legte er ihnen vor, und sagte: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich, wie wenn ein Mensch guten Samen auf seinen Acker säet.
Another parable propounded He unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man, who sowed good grain in his ground:
25 Als aber die Leute schliefen, kam sein Feind, und säete Lolch mitten unter den Weizen, und ging davon.
but while men were asleep, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.
26 Als aber die Saat aufsproßte, und Frucht trieb, da kam auch der Lolch zum Vorschein.
Now when the blade shot forth, and produced the corn, then the tares also appeared.
27 Da kamen die Knechte des Hausherrn zu ihm, und sagten: Herr, hast du nicht guten Samen gesäet auf deinem Acker? Woher nun hat er Lolch?
So the servants came to their master, and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? whence then are the tares?
28 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ein feindseliger Mensch hat das getan. Die Diener aber sagten zu ihm: Willst du nun, daß wir hingehen, und ihn ausjäten?
And he said unto them, Some enemy hath done this. The servants therefore said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 Er aber sprach: Nein, damit ihr nicht, wenn ihr den Lolch ausjätet, zugleich mit ihm den Weizen entwurzelt.
But he said, No: least in plucking up the tares ye root up the corn along with them.
30 Lasset beides miteinander wachsen bis zur Ernte! Und zur Zeit der Ernte werde ich zu den Schnittern sagen: Sammelt zuerst den Lolch, und bindet ihn in Bündel, damit man ihn verbrenne; den Weizen aber sammelt in meine Scheune.
Let both grow together till harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather the weeds together, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but carry the wheat into my barn.
31 Ein anderes Gleichnis legte er ihnen vor, und sagte: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich einem Senfkorn, welches ein Mensch nahm, und säete es auf seinem Acker.
Another parable delivered He unto them, saying, The gospel-kingdom is like a grain of mustard-seed, which a man took and sowed in his field.
32 Welches das kleinste ist von allen Samen; wenn es aber wächst, so wird es größer, als die Kräuter, und wird zum Bäumlein, so daß die Vögel des Himmels in seinen Zweigen nisten.
Which is indeed one of the lest of all seeds: but when it is grown, is the greatest among herbs, and even becometh a tree; so that the birds of the air come and lodge in it's branches.
33 Ein anderes Gleichnis sagte er ihnen: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist gleich dem Sauerteig, welchen ein Weib nahm, und mischte ihn unter drei Scheffel Mehl, bis daß das Ganze durchsäuert war.
Another parable spake He unto them, saying, The gospel-kingdom is like leaven, which a woman took and put into a large quantity of dough, till the whole was leavened.
34 Dies alles redete Jesus in Gleichnissen zu den Volkshaufen, und ohne Gleichnis redete er nicht zu ihnen.
All these things spake Jesus in parables to the multitudes; and at this time He spake nothing to them without a parable:
35 Damit erfüllt würde das da gesagt ist durch den Propheten, der spricht: "Ich will in Gleichnissen meinen Mund auftun, ich will kund machen, was verborgen gewesen ist, von Grundlegung der Welt an."
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables, I will publish things which have been concealed from the foundation of the world.
36 Da verließ Jesus die Volkshaufen, und ging nach Hause. Und es kamen seine Jünger zu ihm, die sprachen: Deute uns das Gleichnis vom Lolch auf dem Acker.
Then Jesus leaving the multitude went into the house; and his disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field:
37 Da antwortete er, und sprach zu ihnen: Der den guten Samen säet, der ist der Menschensohn.
and He answered them, and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 Der Acker aber ist die Welt; und der gute Same sind die Söhne der Gottesherrschaft; der Lolch aber die Söhne des Bösen.
the field is the world; the good seed are the children of my kingdom; and the tares are the children of the wicked one.
39 Der Feind, der sie säet, ist der Teufel; die Ernte aber das Ende des Weltlaufs; und die Schnitter sind die Engel. (aiōn g165)
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
40 Gleichwie nun der Lolch gesammelt und mit Feuer verbrannt wird, so wird es auch sein am Ende des Weltlaufs. (aiōn g165)
As therefore the tares are gathered together, and burnt in the fire; so shall it be in the end of the world: (aiōn g165)
41 Der Menschensohn wird seine Engel senden, und sie werden seiner Herrschaft alles Anstößige und alle Übeltäter zusammenlesen,
the Son of man will send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all that commit offences, and those who do iniquity, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire,
42 Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen, daselbst wird sein Heulen und Zähneknirschen.
and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Alsdann werden die Gerechten leuchten, wie die Sonne, in ihres Vaters Herrschaft. Wer Ohren hat, zu hören, der höre!
But the righteous shall then shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
44 Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem in dem Acker verborgenen Schatz, den ein Mann fand und verbarg, und ging vor Freude hin, und verkaufte alles, was er hatte, und erwarb jenen Acker.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hid in a field, which a man having found conceals, and being rejoiced at it goes and sells all that he has, and purchases that field.
45 Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem Kaufmann, der gute Perlen sucht.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking precious pearls,
46 Da er aber eine sehr wertvolle Perle fand, ging er hin, verhandelte alles, was er hatte, und kaufte sie.
who, having found one of great value, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
47 Wiederum ist die Himmelsherrschaft gleich einem Netz, das in den See geworfen wurde, und von jeder Art fing.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net, that was cast into the sea, and inclosed fishes of various sorts;
48 Da es aber voll war, zog man es ans Ufer, und setzte sich hin, und verlas die guten in Gefäße; die nichtsnutzigen aber warf man hinaus.
which, when it was full, they dragged to the shore, and sat down and gathered the good into vessels, and threw out the bad.
49 So wird es auch sein am Ende des Weltlaufs. Die Engel werden ausgehen, und absondern die Schlechten aus dem Kreise der Gerechten, (aiōn g165)
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous; (aiōn g165)
50 Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen; daselbst wird sein Heulen und Zähneknirschen.
and shall cast them into the fiery furnace, and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
51 Habt ihr das alles verstanden? Sie sagten ihm: Ja!
Then saith Jesus unto them, Did ye understand all these? they say unto Him, Yes, Lord: and He said unto them,
52 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Jeder Schriftgelehrte, der ein Jünger für die Gottesherrschaft geworden, ist gleich einem Hausherrn, der aus seinem Schatze Neues und Altes hervorbringt.
Therefore every teacher, who has been thus instructed in the knowledge of the kingdom of heaven, is like a master of a family, who brings forth out of his store things new and old.
53 Und es geschah, als Jesus diese Gleichnisse vollendet hatte, daß er von dannen zog.
And when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence:
54 Und kam in seine Vaterstadt, und lehrte sie in ihrer Synagoge, so daß sie sich verwunderten und sagten: Woher hat er diese Weisheit und die Krafttaten?
and came into his own country, and taught them in their synagogues; so that they were amazed and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom and these powers?
55 Ist dieser nicht des Bauhandwerkers Sohn? heißen nicht seine Mutter Maria, und seine Brüder Jakobus, und Joses, und Simon, und Judas?
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 Und seine Schwestern, sind sie nicht alle bei uns? Woher hat der jetzt das alles?
and his sisters, are they not all here among us? from whence then hath this man all these things?
57 Und sie stießen sich an ihm: Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ein Prophet gilt nirgends weniger, als in seiner Vaterstadt und in seinem Hause.
So they were prejudiced against Him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is no where less honoured than in his own country, and in his own family.
58 Und er tat daselbst nicht viele Krafttaten, um ihres Unglaubens willen.
And he did not many miracles there, because of their unbelief.
