Markus 3
1 Und er ging abermals in die Synagoge; und es war daselbst ein Mensch, der hatte eine verdorrte Hand.
And again Jesus entered into a synagogue. And there was a man there, whose hand was withered.
2 Und sie hielten auf ihn, ob ihn am Sabbat heilen würde, daß sie ihn anklagen möchten.
And they watched him, that if he should heal on the sabbath, they might accuse him.
3 Und er sagt dem Menschen, der die verdorrte Hand hatte: Stehe auf, in die Mitte hin!
And he said to the man of the withered hand: Stand up in the midst.
4 Und sagt ihnen: Ist es erlaubt, am Sabbat Gutes zu tun, oder Böses? die Seele zu erretten, oder zu töten? Sie aber schwiegen.
And he said also to them: Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to give life to a person, or to destroy? But they were silent
5 Und er sah sie umher an mit Zorn, traurig ob der Verstocktheit ihrer Herzen, und sagt dem Menschen: Strecke deine Hand aus! Und er streckte sie aus, und seine Hand ward wieder hergestellt.
And he looked on them with indignation, being grieved with the hardness of their heart. And he said to the man: Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched forth, and his hand was restored.
6 Und die Pharisäer gingen hinaus, und hielten alsbald eine Beratung mit den Herodianern wider ihn, daß sie ihn verderben möchten.
And the Pharisees went out, that very hour, with the domestics of Herod, and held a consultation against him, how they might destroy him.
7 Und Jesus entwich mit seinen Jüngern an den See, und eine große Menge von Galiläa folgte ihm nach, und von Judäa,
And Jesus retired with his disciples to the sea. And many people joined him from Galilee, and from Judaea,
8 Und von Jerusalem, und von Idumäa, und von jenseits des Jordans, und die um Tyrus und Sidon, eine große Menge; da sie hörten, was er tat, kamen zu ihm.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan, and from Tyre, and from Sidon: great multitudes, when they heard all that he did, came to him.
9 Und er sprach zu seinen Jüngern, daß ein Boot für ihn bereit sein solle, um des Volkshaufens willen, damit sie ihn nicht drängen möchten.
And he told his disciples to bring him a ship, on account of the multitude, lest they should crowd upon him
10 Denn er heilte viele, so daß sie ihn überfielen, damit ihn anrühren möchten, so viel ihrer Plagen hatten.
For he had healed many, so that they rushed upon him, in order to touch him.
11 Und die unreinen Geister, wenn sie ihn sahen, fielen vor ihm nieder, schrieen und sprachen: Du bist der Sohn Gottes.
And they who were afflicted with unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down and cried out, and said: Thou art the Son of God.
12 Und er bedrohte sie stark, daß sie ihn nicht offenbar machten.
And he charged them much, not to make him known.
13 Und er stieg auf den Berg und ruft herbei, welche er wollte, und sie kamen zu ihm.
And he ascended a mountain, and called whom he pleased; and they came to him.
14 Und er bestimmte zwölfe, daß sie mit ihm seien, und daß er sie aussende, zu predigen,
And he chose twelve to be with him, whom he would send out to preach,
15 Und Macht zu haben, die Krankheiten zu heilen, und die Dämonen auszutreiben.
and who would have power to heal the sick, and to cast out demons.
16 Und er legte dem Simon den Namen Petrus bei;
And to Simon he gave the name of Cephas.
17 Und Jakobus, der Sohn Zebedäi, und Johannes, der Bruder des Jakobus; und er legte ihnen die Namen Boanerges bei, das ist Donnersöhne.
And to James the son of Zebedee and to John the brother of James, he gave the name of Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder.
18 Und Andreas und Philippus, und Bartholomäus und Matthäus und Thomas und Jakobus, des Alphäus Sohn, und Thaddäus und Simon von Kana,
And he chose also Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 Und Judas Ischariot, der ihn verriet.
And Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And they came to the house:
20 Und sie kamen nach Hause. Und es kommt abermals ein Volkshaufe zusammen, so daß sie nicht einmal mehr Brot essen können.
and the multitude assembled again, so that they could not eat bread.
21 Und als das die Seinigen hörten, gingen sie aus, ihn festzunehmen, denn sie sprachen: Er ist verrückt. -
And his kinsmen heard, and went out to take him; for they said: He is out of his reason.
22 Und die Schriftgelehrten, welche von Jerusalem herabgekommen waren, sprachen: Er hat den Beelzebul, denn mit dem obersten der Dämonen treibt er die Dämonen aus.
And those Scribes that had come down from Jerusalem, said: Beelzebub is in him; and by the prince of demons he expelleth demons.
23 Und er rief sie zu sich, und sagte ihnen in Gleichnissen: Wie kann Satan den Satan austreiben?
And Jesus called them, and said to them, by similitudes: How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Und wenn ein Königreich wider sich selbst entzweit ist, so kann selbiges Königreich nicht bestehen.
For if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 Und wenn ein Haus wider sich selbst entzweit ist, so kann jenes Haus nicht bestehen.
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 Und wenn der Satan aufsteht wider sich selbst und entzweit ist, so kann er nicht bestehen, sondern hat ein Ende.
And if Satan rise up against himself and be divided, he cannot stand, but is at an end.
27 Niemand kann den Hausrat des Starken rauben, indem er in sein Haus einbricht, es sei denn, daß er den Starken zuvor binde, dann wert mag er sein Haus berauben.
No one can enter the house of a strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he may rob his house.
28 Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß alle Sünden der Menschen werden vergeben werden, auch die Lästerungen, womit sie irgend lästern,
Verily I say to you: All sins, and the blasphemies that men may utter, may be forgiven them:
30 Weil sie sagten: Er hat einen unsaubern Geist.
Because they had said: An unclean spirit is in him.
31 Da kamen seine Mutter und seine Brüder, und draußen stehend, sandten sie zu ihm, und ließen ihn rufen.
And his mother and his brothers came, and, standing without, sent to call him to them.
32 Und es saß ein Volkshaufe um ihn. Und sie sagten ihm: Siehe, deine Mutter, und deine Brüder, und deine Schwestern draußen suchen dich.
And the multitude were sitting around him, and they said to him: Lo, thy mother and thy brothers, without, call for thee.
33 Und er antwortete ihnen, und sprach: Wer ist meine Mutter, oder meine Brüder?
He replied, and said to them: Who is my mother? and who are my brothers?
34 Und er blickte herum auf die, welche im Kreise um ihn saßen, und sagt: Siehe, meine Mutter und meine Brüder;
And he looked upon those who sat by him, and said: Behold my mother! and, behold my brothers!
35 Denn wer den Willen Gottes tut, der ist mein Bruder und meine Schwester und Mutter.
For whoever shall do the pleasure of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and my mother.
