Markus 15
1 Und alsbald gegen Morgen hielten die hohen Priester eine Ratsversammlung mit den Ältesten und Schriftgelehrten. Und der ganze hohe Rat banden Jesus, führten ihn und überlieferten ihn Pilatus.
And anon in the dawning, the hie Priestes helde a Councill with the Elders, and the Scribes, and the whole Council, and bound Iesus, and led him away, and deliuered him to Pilate.
2 Und Pilatus frug ihn: Bist du der König der Juden? Er aber antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Du sagst es.
Then Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Iewes? And hee answered, and sayde vnto him, Thou sayest it.
3 Und die hohen Priester beschuldigten ihn viel.
And the hie Priestes accused him of many things.
4 Pilatus aber frug ihn abermal, und sprach: Antwortest du nichts! Siehe, welche Dinge sie wider dich zeugen.
Wherefore Pilate asked him againe, saying, Answerest thou nothing? beholde howe many things they witnesse against thee.
5 Jesus aber antwortete weiter nichts mehr, so daß sich Pilatus verwunderte.
But Iesus answered no more at all, so that Pilate marueiled.
6 Je am Fest aber gab er ihnen einen Gefangenen los, um welchen sie baten.
Nowe at the feast, Pilate did deliuer a prisoner vnto them, whomesoeuer they woulde desire.
7 Es war aber einer, genannt Barabbas, der war gefangen samt seinen Mitaufrührern, welche im Aufstand einen Mord begangen hatten.
Then there was one named Barabbas, which was bounde with his fellowes, that had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
8 Und das Volk ging hinauf, und bat, daß er ihnen wie immer tue.
And the people cried aloude, and began to desire that he woulde doe as he had euer done vnto them.
9 Pilatus aber antwortete ihnen und sprach: Wollt ihr, daß ich euch den König der Juden losgebe?
Then Pilate answered them, and said, Will ye that I let loose vnto you the King of ye Iewes?
10 Denn er wußte, daß ihn die hohen Priester aus Neid überliefert hatten.
For he knewe that the hie Priestes had deliuered him of enuie.
11 Die hohen Priester aber wiegelten das Volk auf, daß er ihnen lieber den Barabbas losgebe.
But the high Priestes had moued the people to desire that he would rather deliuer Barabbas vnto them.
12 Pilatus aber antwortete abermals, und sprach zu ihnen: Was wollt ihr denn, daß ich tun soll dem, von welchem ihr saget, er sei König der Juden.
And Pilate answered, and said againe vnto them, What will ye then that I doe with him, whom ye call the King of the Iewes?
13 Sie aber schrieen wiederum: Kreuzige ihn!
And they cried againe, Crucifie him.
14 Pilatus aber sprach zu ihnen: Was hat er denn Arges getan? Sie aber schrieen über die Maßen: Kreuzige ihn!
Then Pilate said vnto them, But what euill hath he done? And they cryed the more feruently, Crucifie him.
15 Pilatus aber wollte dem Volk genugtun und gab ihnen Barabbas los, und überlieferte Jesus, nachdem er ihn gegeißelt hatte, daß er gekreuzigt würde.
So Pilate willing to content the people, loosed them Barabbas, and deliuered Iesus, when he had scourged him, that he might be crucified.
16 Die Kriegsknechte aber führten Jesus in den Hof innen, das ist das Prätorium, und riefen zusammen die ganze Kohorte.
Then the souldiers led him away into the hall, which is the common hall, and called together the whole band,
17 Und zogen ihm einen Purpur an, und flochten eine dornene Krone, und setzten sie ihm auf.
And clad him with purple, and platted a crowne of thornes, and put it about his head,
18 Und fingen an ihn zu grüßen: Sei gegrüßt, König der Juden!
And began to salute him, saying, Haile, King of the Iewes.
19 Und sie schlugen ihn auf sein Haupt mit einem Rohr, und verspeiten ihn, und beugten die Kniee und warfen sich vor ihm nieder.
And they smote him on the head with a reede, and spat vpon him, and bowed the knees, and did him reuerence.
20 Und da sie ihn verspottet hatten, zogen sie ihm den Purpur aus, und zogen ihm seine eigenen Kleider an, und führten ihn hinaus, daß sie ihn kreuzigten.
And whe they had mocked him, they tooke the purple off him, and put his owne clothes on him, and led him out to crucifie him.
21 Und sie zwangen einen, der vorüberging, und vom Felde kam, Simon von Kyrene, den Vater des Alexander und Rufus, daß er sein Kreuz trüge.
And they compelled one that passed by, called Simon of Cyrene (which came out of the countrey, and was father of Alexander and Rufus) to beare his crosse.
22 Und sie bringen ihn an den Platz Golgatha, das heißt übersetzt Schädelstätte,
And they brought him to a place named Golgotha, which is by interpretation, the place of dead mens skulles.
23 Und sie gaben ihm Myrrhenwein; er aber nahm ihn nicht.
And they gaue him to drinke wine mingled with myrrhe: but he receiued it not.
24 Und sie kreuzigten ihn, und teilten seine Kleider, und warfen das Los über sie, wer etwas bekäme.
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what euery man should haue.
25 Es war aber die dritte Stunde, da sie ihn kreuzigten.
And it was the third houre, when they crucified him.
26 Und es war die Aufschrift seiner Anklage darübergeschrieben: Der König der Juden.
And ye title of his cause was written aboue, THAT KING OF THE JEWES.
27 Und mit ihm kreuzigten sie zwei Räuber; einen zu seiner Rechten, und einer zu seiner Linken.
They crucified also with him two theeues, the one on ye right hand, and the other on his left.
28 Und es ward erfüllet die Schrift, welche sagt: "Und zu den Übeltätern ward er gezählet."
Thus the Scripture was fulfilled, which sayth, And he was counted among the wicked.
29 Und die vorübergingen, lästerten ihn, schüttelten ihre Köpfe, und sagten: Pfui! der du den Tempel abbrichst, und bauest ihn in drei Tagen,
And they that went by, railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Hey, thou that destroyest the Temple, and buildest it in three dayes,
30 Errette dich selbst und steig herab vom Kreuze!
Saue thy selfe, and come downe from the crosse.
31 In gleicher Weise verspotteten ihn auch die hohen Priester unter einander, mit den Schriftgelehrten, und sprachen: Andere hat er errettet, sich selbst kann er nicht erretten.
Likewise also euen the hie Priests mocking, said among themselues with the Scribes, He saued other men, himselfe he cannot saue.
32 Messias! König Israels! steig herab vom Kreuze! damit wir es sehen und glauben. - Auch die mit ihm gekreuzigt waren, schmähten ihn.
Let Christ the King of Israel nowe come downe from the crosse, that we may see, and beleeue. They also that were crucified with him, reuiled him.
33 Als es aber die sechste Stunde war, da kam eine Finsternis über das ganze Land, bis zur neunten Stunde.
Nowe when the sixt houre was come, darkenesse arose ouer all the land vntill the ninth houre.
34 Und in der neunten Stunde schrie Jesus mit lauter Stimme: Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabachtahani; das heißt übersetzt: Mein Gott! Mein Gott! warum hast du mich verlassen?
And at the ninth houre Iesus cryed with a loude voyce, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lamma-sabachthani? which is by interpretation, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Und etliche der Dabeistehenden, als sie es hörten, sprachen: Siehe, er ruft den Elias.
And some of them that stoode by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
36 Es lief aber einer herzu, und füllte einen Schwamm mit Essig (Soldatenwein), und legte ihn um ein Rohr, und gab ihm zu trinken, indem er sprach: Lasset, wir wollen sehen, ob Elias kommt, ihn herabzunehmen.
And one ranne, and filled a spondge full of vineger, and put it on a reede, and gaue him to drinke, saying, Let him alone: let vs see if Elias will come, and take him downe.
37 Jesus aber gab einen lauten Schrei von sich, und verschied.
And Iesus cryed with a loude voyce, and gaue vp the ghost.
38 Und der Vorhang des Tempels zerriß entzwei, von oben an bis unten aus.
And the vaile of the Temple was rent in twaine, from the toppe to the bottome.
39 Als aber der Hauptmann, der dabeistund, ihm gegenüber, sah daß er also schreiend verschied, sprach er: Wahrhaftig dieser Mensch war Gottes Sohn.
Nowe when the Centurion, which stoode ouer against him, sawe that he thus crying gaue vp the ghost, he saide, Truely this man was the Sonne of God.
40 Es waren aber auch Weiber da, die von ferne zuschauten, unter welchen war: Maria, die Magdalenerin; Maria, die Mutter des kleinen Jakobus und des Joses, und Salome,
There were also women, which beheld afarre off, among whom was Marie Magdalene, and Marie (the mother of Iames the lesse, and of Ioses) and Salome,
41 Welche auch, als er in Galiläa war, ihm nachfolgten, und ihm dienten, und viele andere, die mit ihm nach Jerusalem hinausgegangen waren.
Which also when he was in Galile, folowed him, and ministred vnto him, and many other women which came vp with him vnto Hierusalem.
42 Und als es schon Abend geworden, dieweil es der Rüsttag war, welches ist der Vorsabbat,
And nowe when the night was come (because it was the day of the preparation that is before the Sabbath)
43 Kam Joseph von Arimathia, ein angesehener Ratsherr, welcher auch selbst auf die Gottesherrschaft wartete, wagte es, und ging hinein zu Pilatus, und bat um den Leichnam Jesu.
Ioseph of Arimathea, an honorable counsellour, which also looked for the kingdome of God, came, and went in boldly vnto Pilate, and asked the body of Iesus.
44 Pilatus aber verwunderte sich, daß er schon gestorben sei, und rief den Hauptmann herbei, und fragte ihn, ob er längst gestorben wäre.
And Pilate marueiled, if he were already dead, and called vnto him the Centurion, and asked of him whether he had bene any while dead.
45 Und als er es von dem Hauptmann erfuhr, schenkte er den Leichnam den Joseph.
And when he knewe the trueth of the Centurion, he gaue the body to Ioseph:
46 Und er kaufte Leinwand, und nahm ihn ab, wickelte ihn in die Leinwand, und setzte ihn bei in ein Grabmal, das aus dem Felsen gehauen war, und wälzte einen Stein an den Eingang des Grabmals.
Who bought a linnen cloth, and tooke him downe, and wrapped him in the linnen cloth, and laide him in a tombe that was hewen out of a rocke, and rolled a stone vnto the doore of the sepulchre:
47 Maria, die Magdalenerin, und Maria Joses (Mutter) sahen zu, wo er hingelegt ward.
And Marie Magdalene, and Marie Ioses mother, behelde where he should be layed.
