Sprueche 4
1 Hört, ihr Kinder, die väterliche Unterweisung und merkt wohl auf, um Einsicht zu lernen!
Sones, here ye the teching of the fadir; and perseiue ye, that ye kunne prudence.
2 Denn treffliche Lehre gebe ich euch: laßt meine Weisungen nicht unbeachtet!
Y schal yyue to you a good yifte; forsake ye not my lawe.
3 Denn als ich noch als Sohn bei meinem Vater war, als zartes und einziges Kind unter der Obhut meiner Mutter,
For whi and Y was the sone of my fadir, a tendir sone, and oon `gendride bifore my modir.
4 da belehrte er mich und sagte zu mir: »Laß dein Herz meine Worte festhalten! Beobachte meine Weisungen, so wirst du leben.
And my fadir tauyte me, and seide, Thin herte resseyue my wordis; kepe thou myn heestis, and thou schalt lyue.
5 Erwirb dir Weisheit, erwirb dir Einsicht, vergiß sie nicht und weiche nicht ab von den Worten meines Mundes!
Welde thou wisdom, welde thou prudence; foryete thou not, nethir bowe thou awey fro the wordis of my mouth.
6 Laß sie nicht außer acht, so wird sie dich behüten; gewinne sie lieb, so wird sie dich beschirmen.
Forsake thou not it, and it schal kepe thee; loue thou it, and it schal kepe thee.
7 Mit dem besten Teil deiner Habe erwirb dir Weisheit, und um den Preis deines ganzen Vermögens verschaffe dir Einsicht!
The bigynnyng of wisdom, welde thou wisdom; and in al thi possessioun gete thou prudence.
8 Halte sie hoch, so wird sie dir Ansehen verleihen, wird dich zu Ehren bringen, wenn du sie mit Liebe umfängst;
Take thou it, and it schal enhaunse thee; thou schalt be glorified of it, whanne thou hast biclippid it.
9 sie wird dir einen schönen Kranz aufs Haupt setzen, eine herrliche Krone dir bescheren.«
It schal yyue encresyngis of graces to thin heed; and a noble coroun schal defende thee.
10 Höre, mein Sohn, und nimm meine Worte an, so werden dir viele Lebensjahre zuteil werden.
Mi sone, here thou, and take my wordis; that the yeris of lijf be multiplied to thee.
11 Über den Weg der Weisheit will ich dich belehren, will dich auf rechten Bahnen einhergehen lassen;
Y schal schewe to thee the weie of wisdom; and Y schal lede thee bi the pathis of equyte.
12 wenn du (auf ihnen) wandelst, wird dein Schritt nicht gehemmt sein, und wenn du läufst, wirst du nicht zu Fall kommen.
In to whiche whanne thou hast entrid, thi goyngis schulen not be maad streit; and thou schalt rennen, and schalt not haue hirtyng.
13 Halte an der Zucht fest, laß sie nicht fahren! Bewahre sie, denn sie ist dein Leben.
Holde thou teching, and forsake it not; kepe thou it, for it is thi lijf.
14 Begib dich nicht auf den Pfad der Gottlosen und schreite nicht einher auf dem Wege der Bösen!
Delite thou not in the pathis of wyckid men; and the weie of yuele men plese not thee.
15 Meide ihn, gehe nicht auf ihn hinüber! Wende dich von ihm ab und gehe daran vorüber!
Fle thou fro it, and passe thou not therbi; bowe thou awei, and forsake it.
16 Denn sie können nicht schlafen, wenn sie nicht Böses (zuvor) getan haben; und der Schlaf ist ihnen geraubt, wenn sie nicht jemand verführt haben;
For thei slepen not, `no but thei han do yuele; and sleep is rauyschid fro hem, no but thei han disseyued.
17 denn das Brot, das sie essen, ist Gottlosigkeit, und der Wein, den sie trinken, ist Gewalttätigkeit.
Thei eten the breed of vnpite, and drinken the wyn of wickidnesse.
18 Aber der Pfad der Gerechten gleicht dem Glanz des Morgenlichts, das immer heller leuchtet bis zur vollen Tageshöhe.
But the path of iust men goith forth as liyt schynynge, and encreessith til to perfit dai.
19 Der Weg der Gottlosen ist wie dunkle Nacht; sie gewahren nicht, worüber sie straucheln.
The weie of wickid men is derk; thei witen not where thei schulen falle.
20 Mein Sohn, merke auf meine Worte, leihe meinen Reden dein Ohr!
Mi sone, herkene thou my wordis; and bowe doun thin eeris to my spechis.
21 Laß sie deinen Augen nie entschwinden, bewahre sie im Innersten deines Herzens!
Go not tho awei fro thyn iyen; kepe thou hem in the myddil of thin herte.
22 Denn Leben sind sie für jeden, der sie erfaßt, und heilsame Arznei für seinen ganzen Leib.
For tho ben lijf to men fyndynge thoo, and heelthe `of al fleisch.
23 Mehr als alles, was man zu bewachen hat, behüte dein Herz; denn von ihm hängt das Leben ab.
With al keping kepe thin herte, for lijf cometh forth of it.
24 Tu Falschheit des Mundes von dir ab und laß Lug und Trug fern von deinen Lippen sein!
Remoue thou a schrewid mouth fro thee; and backbitynge lippis be fer fro thee.
25 Dann können deine Augen geradeaus schauen und deine Augenlider frei vor dich hinblicken.
Thin iyen se riytful thingis; and thin iyeliddis go bifore thi steppis.
26 Laß deinen Fuß auf gerader Bahn gehen und alle deine Wege fest gerichtet sein!
Dresse thou pathis to thi feet, and alle thi weies schulen be stablischid.
27 Weiche nicht nach rechts noch nach links ab; halte deinen Fuß vom Bösen fern!
Bowe thou not to the riytside, nether to the leftside; turne awei thi foot fro yuel. For the Lord knowith the weies that ben at the riytside; but the weies ben weiward, that ben at the leftside. Forsothe he schal make thi goyngis riytful; and thi weies schulen be brouyt forth in pees.
