4 Mose 34

1 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Mose:

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

2 »Folgende Verordnungen sollst du den Israeliten mitteilen: Wenn ihr in das Land Kanaan kommt, so soll dies das Gebiet sein, das euch als Erbbesitz zufällt: das Land Kanaan in seinem ganzen Umfang.

“Enjoin the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan [Humbled] (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan [Humbled] according to its borders),

3 Und zwar soll die Südseite sich euch von der Wüste Zin an, Edom entlang, hinziehen, so daß eure Südgrenze im Osten am (südlichen) Ende des Salzmeeres beginnt.

then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom [Red], and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.

4 Dann soll eure Grenze südlich vom Skorpionenstieg umbiegen und sich nach Zin hinüberziehen, wo sie südlich von Kades-Barnea endigt; von dort soll sie weiter nach Hazar-Addar hin laufen und nach Azmon hinübergehen;

Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea [Consecrated Son-inconstant]; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.

5 und von Azmon wende sich die Grenze nach dem Bach Ägyptens hin und endige nach dem Westmeer zu. –

The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and it shall end at the sea.

6 Was sodann die Westgrenze betrifft, so gelte euch da das große Meer zugleich als Grenze; das soll eure Westgrenze sein. –

“‘For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea [Mediterranean Sea, Inland Sea] and its border. This shall be your west border.

7 Und folgendes soll eure Nordgrenze sein: vom großen Westmeer an sollt ihr euch eine Grenzlinie bis zum Berge Hor ziehen;

“‘This shall be your north border: from the Great Sea [Mediterranean Sea, Inland Sea] you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.

8 vom Berge Hor an sollt ihr euch eine Grenzlinie in der Richtung auf Hamath hin ziehen, und das Ende der Grenze soll nach Zedad hin sein;

From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.

9 dann laufe die Grenze weiter nach Siphron hin und erreiche ihr Ende bei Hazar-Enan. Das soll eure Nordgrenze sein. –

Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.

10 Als Ostgrenze aber sollt ihr euch eine Linie von Hazar-Enan nach Sepham festsetzen;

“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.

11 und von Sepham gehe die Grenze nach Ha-Ribla hinab östlich von Ain; dann ziehe sich die Grenze noch weiter hinab und stoße auf den Höhenzug östlich vom See Genezareth;

The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

12 dann ziehe sich die Grenze den Jordan entlang hinab und erreiche ihr Ende am Salzmeer. Dies soll euer Land nach seinen Grenzen ringsum sein.«

The border shall go down to the Jordan [Descender], and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”

13 Mose gab dann den Israeliten folgende Weisung: »Dies ist das Land, das ihr euch durchs Los als euren Erbbesitz zuteilen sollt und das der HERR den neun Stämmen und dem halben Stamm (Manasse) zu geben geboten hat.

Moses [Drawn out] enjoined the children of Israel [God prevails], saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Adonai has enjoined to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;

14 Denn alle zu den beiden Stämmen Ruben und Gad gehörenden Familien und der halbe Stamm Manasse haben ihren Erbbesitz bereits empfangen.

for the tribe of the children of Reuben [See, a son!] according to their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad [Good fortune] according to their fathers’ houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh [Causing to forget] have received, their inheritance.

15 Diese zweieinhalb Stämme haben ihren Erbbesitz auf der andern Seite des Jordans, Jericho gegenüber, im Osten, nach Sonnenaufgang hin, bereits erhalten.«

The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan [Descender] at Jericho [Fragrant, Moon] eastward, toward the sunrise.”

16 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Mose folgendes:

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

17 »Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die das Land als Erbbesitz unter euch verteilen sollen: der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns;

“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar [Help of God] the priest, and Joshua [Yah Salvation] the son of Nun.

18 dazu sollt ihr von jedem Stamm einen Fürsten zu der Verteilung des Landes hinzuziehen.

You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.

19 Und dies sind die Namen der Männer: für den Stamm Juda: Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes;

These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah [Praised], Caleb [Dog] the son of Jephunneh.

20 für den Stamm Simeon: Samuel, der Sohn Ammihuds;

Of the tribe of the children of Simeon [Hearing], Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

21 für den Stamm Benjamin: Elidad, der Sohn Kislons;

Of the tribe of Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south], Elidad the son of Chislon.

22 für den Stamm Dan als Fürst: Bukki, der Sohn Joglis;

Of the tribe of the children of Dan [He judged] a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.

23 für die Nachkommen Josephs: für den Stamm Manasse als Fürst: Hanniel, der Sohn Ephods,

Of the children of Joseph [May he add]: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh [Causing to forget] a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

24 und für den Stamm Ephraim als Fürst: Kemuel, der Sohn Siphtans;

Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim [Fruit] a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

25 für den Stamm Sebulon als Fürst: Elizaphan, der Sohn Parnachs;

Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun [Living together] a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

26 für den Stamm Issaschar als Fürst: Paltiel, der Sohn Assans;

Of the tribe of the children of Issachar [Hire, Reward] a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

27 für den Stamm Asser als Fürst: Ahihud, der Sohn Selomis;

Of the tribe of the children of Asher [Happy] a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

28 für den Stamm Naphthali als Fürst: Pedahel, der Sohn Ammihuds.«

Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali [My wrestling] a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”

29 Diese waren es, denen der HERR gebot, den Israeliten ihren Erbbesitz im Lande Kanaan zuzuteilen.

These are they whom Adonai enjoined to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel [God prevails] in the land of Canaan [Humbled].
