4 Mose 33

1 Folgendes sind die einzelnen Züge der Israeliten, in denen sie aus Ägypten nach ihren Heerscharen unter der Führung Moses und Aarons ausgezogen sind.

These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.

2 Mose hatte nämlich auf Befehl des HERRN die Orte aufgeschrieben, von denen ihre Auszüge erfolgt waren; und folgendes sind ihre Züge von einem Aufbruchsort zum andern:

And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.

3 Sie brachen von Ramses am fünfzehnten Tage des ersten Monats auf; am Tage nach dem Passah zogen die Israeliten mit hoch erhobener Hand vor den Augen aller Ägypter aus,

So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;

4 während die Ägypter alle Erstgeborenen begruben, die der HERR unter ihnen hatte sterben lassen; denn der HERR hatte auch an ihren Göttern ein Strafgericht vollzogen.

when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,

5 Die Israeliten brachen also von Ramses auf und lagerten in Sukkoth.

Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.

6 Von Sukkoth zogen sie dann weiter und lagerten in Etham, das am Rande der Wüste liegt.

And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.

7 Von Etham zogen sie weiter und wandten sich nach Pi-Hahiroth, das Baal-Zephon gegenüber liegt, und lagerten östlich von Migdol.

And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.

8 Von Pi-Hahiroth brachen sie auf und zogen mitten durch das Meer nach der Wüste hin; sie wanderten dann drei Tagereisen weit in der Wüste Etham und lagerten in Mara.

And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.

9 Von Mara zogen sie weiter und kamen nach Elim; dort waren zwölf Wasserquellen und siebzig Palmbäume, und sie lagerten daselbst.

And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.

10 Von Elim zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Schilfmeer.

And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.

11 Vom Schilfmeer zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Sin.

And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.

12 Aus der Wüste Sin zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Dophka.

And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.

13 Von Dophka zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Alus.

And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.

14 Von Alus zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rephidim; dort hatte das Volk kein Wasser zu trinken.

And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

15 Von Rephidim zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Sinai.

And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.

16 Aus der Wüste Sinai zogen sie weiter und lagerten bei den Lustgräbern.

And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.

17 Von den Lustgräbern zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hazeroth.

And they brake up from Kibroth-hattaavah, —and encamped in Hazeroth.

18 Von Hazeroth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rithma.

And they brake up from Hazeroth, —and encamped in Rithmah.

19 Von Rithma zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rimmon-Perez.

And they brake up from Rithmah, —and encamped in Rimmon-perez.

20 Von Rimmon-Perez zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Libna.

And they brake up from Rimmon-perez, —and encamped in Libnah.

21 Von Libna zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Rissa.

And they brake up from Libnah, —and encamped in Rissah.

22 Von Rissa zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Kehelatha.

And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.

23 Von Kehelatha zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Berge Sepher.

And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.

24 Vom Berge Sepher zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Harada.

And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.

25 Von Harada zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Makheloth.

And they brake up from Haradah, —and encamped in Makheloth.

26 Von Makheloth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Thahath.

And they brake up from Makheloth, —and encamped in Tahath.

27 Von Thahath zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Therah.

And they brake up from Tahath, —and encamped in Terah.

28 Von Therah zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Mithka.

And they brake up from Terah, —and encamped in Mithkah.

29 Von Mithka zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hasmona.

And they brake up from Mithkah, —and encamped in Hashmonah.

30 Von Hasmona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Moseroth.

And they brake up from Hashmonah, —and encamped in Moseroth.

31 Von Moseroth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Bene-Jaakan.

And they brake up from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.

32 Von Bene-Jaakan zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Hor-Hagidgad.

And they brake up from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.

33 Von Hor-Hagidgad zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Jotbatha.

And they brake up from Hor-haggidgad, —and encamped in Jotbathah, —

34 Von Jotbatha zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Abrona.

And they brake up from Jotbathah, —and encamped in Abronah.

35 Von Abrona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Ezjon-Geber.

And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.

36 Von Ezjon-Geber zogen sie weiter und lagerten in der Wüste Zin, das ist Kades.

And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.

37 Von Kades zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Berge Hor, an der Grenze des Landes der Edomiter.

And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;

38 Da stieg der Priester Aaron nach dem Befehl des HERRN auf den Berg Hor hinauf und starb daselbst im vierzigsten Jahr nach dem Auszug der Israeliten aus dem Lande Ägypten am ersten Tage des fünften Monats;

and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.

39 Aaron war aber 123 Jahre alt, als er auf dem Berge Hor starb.

Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.

40 [Und der Kanaanäer, der König von Arad, der im südlichen Teile des Landes Kanaan wohnte, hörte vom Heranrücken der Israeliten.]

And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.

41 Vom Berge Hor zogen sie dann weiter und lagerten in Zalmona.

And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.

42 Von Zalmona zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Phunon.

And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.

43 Von Phunon zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Oboth.

And they brake up from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.

44 Von Oboth zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Ijje-Abarim an der Grenze des Moabiterlandes.

And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.

45 Von Ijjim zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Dibon-Gad.

And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.

46 Von Dibon-Gad zogen sie weiter und lagerten in Almon-Diblathaim.

And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47 Von Almon-Diblathaim zogen sie weiter und lagerten am Gebirge Abarim östlich vom Nebo.

And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48 Vom Gebirge Abarim zogen sie weiter und lagerten sich in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber;

And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.

49 und zwar lagerten sie am Jordan von Beth-Jesimoth bis Abel-Sittim in den Steppen der Moabiter.

Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.

50 Der HERR gebot dann dem Mose in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber: »Teile den Israeliten folgende Verordnungen mit:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:

51 Wenn ihr über den Jordan in das Land Kanaan hinübergezogen seid,

Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

52 sollt ihr alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch her austreiben und alle ihre Götzenbilder vernichten; auch alle ihre Gußbilder sollt ihr vernichten und alle ihre Höhen zerstören.

then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.

53 Ihr sollt dann das Land in Besitz nehmen und darin wohnen; denn euch habe ich das Land als Eigentum verliehen.

So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.

54 Und zwar sollt ihr euch das Land durch das Los als Erbbesitz zuteilen entsprechend euren Stämmen: den größeren Stämmen sollt ihr einen größeren Erbbesitz geben und den kleineren einen weniger großen Erbbesitz zuteilen; doch wohin immer einem jeden das Los fällt, da soll es ihm als Eigentum zuteil werden: nach euren väterlichen Stämmen sollt ihr euch das Land als Erbbesitz zuteilen.

And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.

55 Wenn ihr aber die Bewohner des Landes nicht vor euch her austreibt, so werden die, welche ihr von ihnen übriglaßt, zu Dornen in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in euren Seiten werden und euch in dem Lande, in dem ihr wohnen werdet, bedrängen.

But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.

56 Die Folge wird dann sein, daß ich euch das Geschick widerfahren lasse, das ich ihnen zugedacht hatte.«

And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
