4 Mose 26
1 Nachdem aber das Sterben zu Ende war, gebot der HERR dem Mose und Eleasar, dem Sohne des Priesters Aaron, folgendes:
And it came to pass after the plague, That the Lord spoke unto Moses and unto Elazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 »Stellt die Kopfzahl der ganzen Gemeinde der Israeliten fest, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, Geschlecht für Geschlecht, alle, die zum Kriegsdienst in Israel tauglich sind!«
Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by the descent from their fathers, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel.
3 Da nahmen Mose und der Priester Eleasar die Musterung vor in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber,
And Moses with El'azar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
4 von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte. Es waren aber die Israeliten, die aus Ägypten ausgezogen waren:
[Take the sum of the people, ] from twenty years old and upward; as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt.
5 Ruben, der Erstgeborene Israels. Die Söhne Rubens waren: Hanok, von dem das Geschlecht der Hanokiten stammt; von Pallu das Geschlecht der Palluiten;
Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben, of Chanoch, the family of the Chanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
6 von Hezron das Geschlecht der Hezroniten; von Karmi das Geschlecht der Karmiten.
Of Chezron, the family of the Chezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
7 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Rubeniten, und die Zahl ihrer Gemusterten betrug 43730.
These are the families of the Reubenites; and those that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8 Der Sohn Pallus war Eliab;
And the sons of Pallu: Eliab.
9 und die Söhne Eliabs: Nemuel, Dathan und Abiram. Dieser Dathan und Abiram waren die zur Gemeindeversammlung Berufenen, die sich gegen Mose und Aaron mit der Rotte Korahs aufgelehnt hatten, als sie sich gegen den HERRN auflehnten,
And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are Dathan and Abiram, men called to the assembly, who quarreled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korach, at the time they quarreled against the Lord;
10 worauf die Erde ihren Mund auftat und sie samt Korah verschlang, während die Rotte dadurch umkam, daß das Feuer die 250 Männer verzehrte, so daß sie zu einem abschreckenden Beispiel wurden.
When the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korach, while that company died, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.
11 Die Söhne Korahs aber waren nicht mit umgekommen.
But the sons of Korach did not die.
12 Die Söhne Simeons nach ihren Geschlechtern waren diese: von Nemuel stammte das Geschlecht der Nemueliten; von Jamin das Geschlecht der Jaminiten; von Jachin das Geschlecht der Jachiniten;
The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Yamin, the family of the Yaminites; of Yachin, the family of the Yachinites;
13 von Serah das Geschlecht der Sarchiten; von Saul das Geschlecht der Sauliten.
Of Zerach, the family of the Zarchites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Simeoniten: 22200.
These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
15 Die Söhne Gads nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Zephon das Geschlecht der Zephoniten; von Haggi das Geschlecht der Haggiten; von Suni das Geschlecht der Suniten;
The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Chaggi, the family of the Chaggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
16 von Osni das Geschlecht der Osniten; von Eri das Geschlecht der Eriten;
Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of 'Eri, the family of the 'Erites;
17 von Arod das Geschlecht der Aroditen; von Areli das Geschlecht der Areliten.
Of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites;
18 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Gads, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 40500.
These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
19 Die Söhne Judas waren: Er und Onan, die beide im Lande Kanaan starben.
The sons of Judah were 'Er and Onan; and 'Er with Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20 Es waren aber die Söhne Judas nach ihren Geschlechtern: von Sela das Geschlecht der Selaniten; von Perez das Geschlecht der Parziten; von Serah das Geschlecht der Sariten.
And the sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Parzites; of Zerach, the family of the Zarchites.
21 Die Söhne des Perez aber waren: von Hezron das Geschlecht der Hezroniten; von Hamul das Geschlecht der Hamuliten.
And the sons of Perez were: of Chezron, the family of the Chezronites; of Chamul, the family of the Chamulites.
22 Dies sind die Geschlechter Judas, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 76500.
These are the families of Judah, according to those that were numbered of them, seventy and six thousand and five hundred.
23 Die Söhne Issaschars nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Thola das Geschlecht der Tholaiten; von Puwwa das Geschlecht der Puwwiten;
The sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola', the family of the Tola'ites; of Puva, the family of the Punites;
24 von Jasub das Geschlecht der Jasubiten; von Simron das Geschlecht der Simroniten.
Of Yashub, the family of the Yashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
25 Dies sind die Geschlechter Issaschars, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 64300.
These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, sixty and four thousand and three hundred.
26 Die Söhne Sebulons nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Sered das Geschlecht der Sarditen; von Elon das Geschlecht der Eloniten; von Jahleel das Geschlecht der Jahleeliten.
The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Yachleel, the family of the Yachleelites.
27 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Sebuloniten, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 60500.
These are the families of the Zebulonites according to those that were numbered of them, sixty thousand and five hundred.
28 Die Söhne Josephs nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: Manasse und Ephraim.
The sons of Joseph after their families are Menasseh and Ephraim.
29 Die Söhne Manasses waren: von Machir das Geschlecht der Machiriten. Machir war der Vater Gileads; von Gilead stammt das Geschlecht der Gileaditen.
The sons of Menasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begat Gil'ad; of Gil'ad, the family of the Gil'adites.
30 Dies sind die Söhne Gileads: von Jeser stammt das Geschlecht der Jesriten; von Helek das Geschlecht der Helkiten;
These are the sons of Gil'ad: of I'ezer, the family of the I'ezerites; of Chelek, the family of the Chelkites;
31 von Asriel das Geschlecht der Asrieliten; von Sichem das Geschlecht der Sichmiten;
And of Assriel, the family of the Assrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shichmites;
32 von Semida das Geschlecht der Semidaiten; von Hepher das Geschlecht der Hephriten.
And of Shemida', the family of the Shemida'ites; and of Chepher, the family of the Chephrites.
33 Zelophhad aber, der Sohn Hephers, hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter, die hießen Mahla und Noa, Hogla, Milka und Thirza.
And Zelophehad the son of Chepher had no sons, but only daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Machlah, and No'ah, Choglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34 Dies sind die Geschlechter Manasses, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 52700.
These are the families of Menasseh; and those that were numbered of them were fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.
35 Dies waren die Söhne Ephraims nach ihren Geschlechtern: von Suthelah das Geschlecht der Suthalhiten; von Becher das Geschlecht der Bachriten; von Thachan das Geschlecht der Thachaniten.
These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelach, the family of the Shuthalchites; of Becher, the family of the Bachrites; of Tachan, the family of the Tachanites.
36 Und dies waren die Söhne Suthelahs: von Eran das Geschlecht der Eraniten.
And these are the sons of Shuthelach: of 'Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Ephraims, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 32500. Dies sind die Söhne Josephs nach ihren Geschlechtern.
These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred: these are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38 Die Söhne Benjamins nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Bela das Geschlecht der Baliten; von Asbel das Geschlecht der Asbeliten; von Ahiram das Geschlecht der Ahiramiten;
The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela', the family of the Bal'ites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Achiram, the family of the Achiramites;
39 von Supham das Geschlecht der Suphamiten; von Hupham das Geschlecht der Huphamiten.
Of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Chupham, the family of the Chuphamites.
40 Und die Söhne Belas waren: Ard und Naaman; von Ard stammt das Geschlecht der Arditen, von Naaman das Geschlecht der Naamaniten.
And the sons of Bela' were Ard and Na'aman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; and of Na'aman, the family of the Na'amites.
41 Dies sind die Söhne Benjamins nach ihren Geschlechtern, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 45600.
These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
42 Dies waren die Söhne Dans nach ihren Geschlechtern: von Suham das Geschlecht der Suhamiten.
These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shucham, the family of the Shuchamites; these are the families of Dan after their families.
43 Dies sind die Söhne Dans nach ihren Geschlechtern. Alle Geschlechter der Suhamiten, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 64400.
All the families of the Shuchamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were sixty and four thousand and four hundred.
44 Die Söhne Assers nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Jimna das Geschlecht der Jimniten; von Jiswi das Geschlecht der Jiswiten; von Beria das Geschlecht der Beriiten.
The children of Asher after their families: of Yimnah, the family of the Yimnites; of Yishvi, the family of the Yishvites; of Beri'ah, the family of the Beri'ites.
45 Von den Söhnen Berias: von Heber das Geschlecht der Hebriten; von Malkiel das Geschlecht der Malkieliten.
Of the sons of Beri'ah: of Cheber, the family of the Chebrites; of Malkiel, the family of the Makielites.
46 Und die Tochter Assers hieß Serah.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serach.
47 Dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Assers, soviele von ihnen gemustert wurden: 53400.
These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
48 Die Söhne Naphthalis nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: von Jahzeel das Geschlecht der Jahzeeliten; von Guni das Geschlecht der Guniten;
The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Yachzeel, the family of the Yachzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49 von Jezer das Geschlecht der Jizriten; von Sillem das Geschlecht der Sillemiten.
Of Yezer, the family of the Yizrites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50 Dies sind die Söhne Naphthalis nach ihren Geschlechtern; und ihre Gemusterten beliefen sich auf 45400.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
51 Dies ist die Gesamtzahl der gemusterten Israeliten: 601730.
These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand, and one thousand, seven hundred and thirty.
52 Hierauf sagte der HERR zu Mose folgendes:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
53 »Unter diese soll das Land als erblicher Besitz nach der Kopfzahl verteilt werden;
Unto these shall the land be divided for an inheritance according to the number of the names.
54 den größeren Stämmen sollst du einen größeren Erbbesitz geben, dagegen den kleineren einen weniger großen Erbbesitz zuteilen; jedem Stamme soll sein Erbbesitz nach der Zahl der aus ihm Gemusterten zugeteilt werden.
To the large tribe shalt thou give the more inheritance, and to the small shalt thou give the less inheritance: to each according to those that were numbered thereof shall its inheritance be given.
55 Doch soll die Verteilung des Landes durch das Los erfolgen: nach den Namen ihrer väterlichen Stämme sollen sie es in Besitz nehmen;
Nevertheless, through the lot shall the land be divided: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers shall they obtain their inheritance.
56 nach der Entscheidung des Loses soll der Erbbesitz zwischen den größeren und den kleineren Stämmen verteilt werden.«
By the decision of the lot shall the inheritance of each be divided, according as they are many or few.
57 Und folgendes sind die Leviten, soviele von ihnen nach ihren Geschlechtern gemustert wurden: von Gerson das Geschlecht der Gersoniten, von Kehath das Geschlecht der Kehathiten, von Merari das Geschlecht der Merariten.
And these are those that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershunites: of Kehath, the family of the Kehathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58 Dies sind die Geschlechter Levis: das Geschlecht der Libniten, das Geschlecht der Hebroniten, das Geschlecht der Mahliten, das Geschlecht der Musiten, das Geschlecht der Korhiten. Kehath aber war der Vater Amrams.
These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Chebronites, the family of the Machlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korchites; and Kehath begat 'Amran.
59 Und die Frau Amrams hieß Jochebed, eine Tochter Levis, die dem Levi in Ägypten geboren war; diese gebar dem Amram Aaron und Mose und deren Schwester Mirjam.
And the name of 'Amram's wife was Yochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom [her mother] bore to Levi in Egypt; and she bore unto Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Dem Aaron aber wurden Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar geboren;
And there were born unto Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Elazar, and Ithamar.
61 aber Nadab und Abihu kamen ums Leben, als sie ein ungehöriges Feueropfer vor dem HERRN darbrachten.
And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered a strange fire before the Lord.
62 Es belief sich aber die Zahl der aus ihnen Gemusterten auf 23000 Seelen, alle männlichen Personen von einem Monat an und darüber; sie waren nämlich nicht mit unter den übrigen Israeliten gemustert worden, weil ihnen kein Erbbesitz inmitten der Israeliten zugeteilt wurde.
And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all the males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was not given unto them any inheritance among the children of Israel.
63 Dies war die Musterung, die Mose und der Priester Eleasar bei den Israeliten in den Steppen der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber, vorgenommen haben.
These are those that were numbered by Moses and Elazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
64 Unter diesen befand sich aber kein einziger Mann mehr von denen, die von Mose und dem Priester Aaron einst in der Wüste am Sinai gemustert worden waren.
And among these there was not one man of those whom Moses and Aaron the priest had numbered, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65 Der HERR hatte ihnen ja angekündigt, daß sie in der Wüste sterben sollten. So war denn kein einziger von ihnen übriggeblieben außer Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, und Josua, dem Sohne Nuns.
For the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness: and there was not left of them one man, save Caleb the son of Yephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
