4 Mose 18
1 Der HERR sagte dann zu Aaron: »Du und deine Söhne und das Haus deines Vaters mit dir, ihr sollt die Verfehlungen am Heiligtum auf euch nehmen; und du und deine Söhne mit dir, ihr habt die Verfehlungen an eurem Priesteramt zu tragen.
And Jehovah said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
2 Aber auch deine Brüder, den Stamm Levi, deinen väterlichen Stamm, laß mit dir herantreten: sie sollen sich dir anschließen und dir behilflich sein, während du und deine Söhne mit dir den Dienst vor dem Offenbarungszelt verrichtet.
And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, that they may unite with thee, and minister unto thee; but thou and thy sons with thee [shall serve] before the tent of the testimony.
3 Und zwar sollen sie das besorgen, was zu deiner Bedienung und zur Bedienung des ganzen Zeltes erforderlich ist; nur an die heiligen Geräte und an den Altar dürfen sie nicht herantreten, sonst müßt sowohl ihr als auch sie sterben.
And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of the whole tent: only they shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they may not die, and you as well as they.
4 Sie sollen sich also dir anschließen und den Dienst am Offenbarungszelt in seinem ganzen Umfang besorgen, und kein Unbefugter darf sich neben euch daran beteiligen.
And they shall unite with thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and no stranger shall come near to you.
5 Ihr aber sollt den Dienst im Heiligtum und den Dienst am Altar verrichten, damit nicht nochmals ein Strafgericht über die Israeliten ergeht.
And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there come no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
6 Bedenkt wohl: ich selbst habe eure Brüder, die Leviten, aus der Mitte der Israeliten als ein Geschenk für euch herausgenommen, als solche, die dem HERRN zu eigen gegeben sind, um den Dienst am Offenbarungszelt zu verrichten.
And I, behold, I have taken your brethren, the Levites, from among the children of Israel; to you are they given as a gift for Jehovah to perform the service of the tent of meeting.
7 Du aber und deine Söhne mit dir, ihr habt eures Priesteramts zu warten bezüglich aller Geschäfte, die den Altar betreffen, und bezüglich aller Verrichtungen drinnen hinter dem Vorhange und sollt so den Dienst versehen; als einen geschenkten Dienst überweise ich euch das Priestertum; der Unbefugte aber, der es ausübt, soll den Tod erleiden.«
But thou and thy sons with thee shall attend to your priesthood for all that concerneth the altar, and for that which is inside the veil; and ye shall perform the service: I give you your priesthood as a service of gift, and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
8 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Aaron: »Ich selbst überweise dir hiermit das, was von meinen Hebeopfern (nicht verbrannt wird, sondern) den Abhub bildet: von allen heiligen Gaben der Israeliten verleihe ich sie dir und deinen Söhnen als Anteil, als eine ewige Gebühr.
And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to thee have I given them, because of the anointing, and to thy sons by an everlasting statute.
9 Folgendes soll von den hochheiligen Gaben, soweit sie nicht verbrannt werden, dir zustehen: alles, was von ihnen dargebracht wird an Speisopfern sowie an Sündopfern und an Schuldopfern, die sie mir als Ersatz für Veruntreuungen darbringen; diese (Opfergaben) sollen dir und deinen Söhnen als etwas Hochheiliges zustehen.
This shall be thine of the most holy things, [reserved] from the fire: every offering of theirs, of all their oblations, and of all their sin-offerings, and of all their trespass-offerings, which they render unto me, it is most holy for thee and for thy sons.
10 An einer hochheiligen Stätte sollst du sie verzehren; jede männliche Person darf davon essen; als heilig sollen sie dir gelten.
As most holy shalt thou eat it: every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.
11 Auch folgendes soll dir als Hebe von ihren Gaben zustehen: alle Webeopfer der Israeliten; dir und deinen Söhnen und Töchtern mit dir weise ich sie als eine ewige Gebühr zu: wer rein ist in deinem Hause, darf davon essen.
And this shall be thine: the heave-offering of their gift, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
12 Alles Beste vom Öl und alles Beste vom Most und vom Getreide, ihre Erstlingsgaben, die sie dem HERRN weihen, das weise ich dir zu:
All the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they give to Jehovah, have I given thee.
13 die Erstlinge von allen Früchten, die in ihrem Lande wachsen und die sie dem HERRN darbringen, sollen dir gehören: wer rein ist in deinem Hause, darf davon essen.
The first ripe of everything that is in their land, which they shall bring to Jehovah, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
14 Alles, was in Israel mit dem Bann belegt worden ist, soll dir gehören.
Every devoted thing in Israel shall be thine.
15 Alles Erstgeborene von allem Fleisch, das man dem HERRN darzubringen hat, vom Menschen wie vom Vieh, soll dir gehören; jedoch sollst du die Erstgeburten der Menschen unbedingt lösen lassen, und auch die Erstgeburten der unreinen Tiere sollst du lösen lassen.
Everything that breaketh open the womb of all flesh, which they present to Jehovah, of men or of beasts, shall be thine; nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou in any case ransom, and the firstborn of unclean beasts shalt thou ransom.
16 Was aber die Lösung (einer menschlichen Erstgeburt) betrifft, so sollst du sie im Alter von einem Monat an lösen lassen, und zwar nach deiner Schätzung, für einen Betrag von fünf Schekeln Silber nach dem Schekel des Heiligtums, der zwanzig Gera beträgt.
And those that are to be ransomed from a month old shalt thou ransom, according to thy valuation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
17 Jedoch das Erstgeborene eines Rindes oder das Erstgeborene eines Schafes oder einer Ziege darfst du nicht lösen lassen, sie sind heilig; ihr Blut sollst du an den Altar sprengen und ihr Fett als Feueropfer zum lieblichen Geruch für den HERRN in Rauch aufgehen lassen;
But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom: they are holy. Thou shalt sprinkle their blood on the altar, and their fat shalt thou burn as an offering by fire for a sweet odour to Jehovah.
18 ihr Fleisch aber soll dir gehören: wie die Webebrust und wie die rechte Keule soll es dir gehören.
And their flesh shall be thine; as the wave-breast and as the right shoulder shall it be thine.
19 Alle Hebeopfer von heiligen Gaben, welche die Israeliten dem HERRN von ihrem Besitz darbringen, überweise ich dir und deinen Söhnen und Töchtern bei dir als ewige Gebühr: das soll ein ewiger Salzbund vor dem HERRN für dich und deine Nachkommen bei dir sein!«
All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to Jehovah, have I given thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute: it shall be an everlasting covenant of salt before Jehovah unto thee and thy seed with thee.
20 Weiter sagte der HERR zu Aaron: »In ihrem Lande sollst du keinen Erbbesitz haben und keinen Teil des Landes unter ihnen besitzen: ich bin dein Anteil und dein Erbbesitz inmitten der Israeliten!
And Jehovah said to Aaron, In their land thou shalt have no inheritance, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
21 (Als Entgelt) aber überweise ich hiermit den Leviten alle Zehnten in Israel zum Erbbesitz für ihren Dienst, den sie zu verrichten haben, für den Dienst am Offenbarungszelte.
And to the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.
22 Die Israeliten nämlich dürfen künftighin am Offenbarungszelt nicht mehr tätig sein, weil sie sonst Sünde auf sich laden würden und sterben müßten.
Neither shall the children of Israel henceforth come near the tent of meeting, to bear sin and die.
23 Vielmehr sollen die Leviten den Dienst am Offenbarungszelt verrichten, und sie sollen für etwaige Verfehlungen verantwortlich sein: diese Bestimmung hat ewige Geltung für eure künftigen Geschlechter. Aber einen Erbbesitz sollen sie inmitten der Israeliten nicht haben;
But the Levite, he shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it is an everlasting statute throughout your generations. And among the children of Israel shall they possess no inheritance;
24 denn den Zehnten, den die Israeliten als Hebeopfer an den HERRN abgeben, habe ich den Leviten als Erbbesitz überwiesen; darum habe ich in bezug auf sie verordnet, daß sie keinen Erbbesitz inmitten der Israeliten zu eigen haben sollen.«
for I have given for an inheritance to the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Jehovah; therefore I have said of them, They shall possess no inheritance among the children of Israel.
25 Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
26 »Teile den Leviten folgende Verordnungen mit: Wenn ihr von den Israeliten den Zehnten in Empfang nehmt, den ich euch von ihnen als euren Erbbesitz zugewiesen habe, so sollt ihr davon ein Hebeopfer für den HERRN abgeben, nämlich den Zehnten vom Zehnten.
And to the Levites shalt thou speak, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer a heave-offering from it for Jehovah, the tenth of the tithe.
27 Dann soll dies euer Hebeopfer euch so angerechnet werden, wie (wenn die anderen Israeliten) das Getreide von der Tenne und die Fülle von der Kelter (abgeben).
And your heave-offering shall be reckoned unto you, as the corn from the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
28 Ebenso sollt auch ihr ein Hebeopfer für den HERRN von allen euren Zehnten abgeben, die ihr von den Israeliten in Empfang nehmt, und sollt davon das Hebeopfer, das dem HERRN gebührt, an den Priester Aaron abführen.
Thus ye also shall offer Jehovah's heave-offering of all your tithes, which ye take of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof Jehovah's heave-offering to Aaron the priest.
29 Von allen Gaben, die euch zufallen, sollt ihr ein unverkürztes Hebeopfer für den HERRN abgeben, und zwar von allem Besten davon, als die davon zu entrichtende heilige Gebühr.
Out of all that is given you ye shall offer the whole heave-offering of Jehovah, — of all the best thereof the hallowed part thereof.
30 Sage also zu ihnen: ›Wenn ihr das Beste davon abgebt, so soll (das übrige) euch, den Leviten, so angerechnet werden wie (den anderen Israeliten) der Ertrag der Tenne und wie der Ertrag der Kelter,
And thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as produce of the threshing-floor, and as produce of the winepress.
31 so daß ihr es an jedem beliebigen Ort verzehren dürft, ihr und eure Familie; denn es ist euer Lohn für euren Dienst am Offenbarungszelt.‹
And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households; for it is your reward for your service in the tent of meeting.
32 Wenn ihr also das Beste davon abgebt, so werdet ihr seinetwegen keine Sünde auf euch laden und werdet die heiligen Gaben der Israeliten nicht entweihen und darum auch nicht sterben müssen.«
And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, if ye heave from it the best of it; and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
