Jeremia 27

1 Im Anfang der Regierung Zedekias, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs von Juda, erging folgendes Wort an Jeremia vom HERRN:

In the bigynnyng of the rewme of Joachym, the sone of Josie, kyng of Juda, this word was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, and seide,

2 so gebot mir der HERR: »Mache dir Stricke und Jochstäbe und lege sie dir auf den Nacken

The Lord seith these thingis to me, Make thou to thee boondis and chaynes, and thou schalt putte tho in thi necke;

3 und sende (Botschaft) an den König von Edom sowie an den König von Moab, an den König der Ammoniter, an den König von Tyrus und an den König von Sidon durch Vermittlung der Gesandten, die nach Jerusalem zu Zedekia, dem König von Juda, gekommen sind,

and thou schalt sende tho to the kyng of Edom, and to the kyng of Moab, and to the kyng of the sones of Amon, and to the kyng of Tyre, and to the kyng of Sidon, bi the hond of messangeris that camen to Jerusalem, and to Sedechie, kyng of Juda.

4 und trage ihnen folgende Botschaft an ihre Gebieter auf: ›So hat der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels, gesprochen: Berichtet euren Gebietern folgendes:

And thou schalt comaunde to hem, that thei speke to her lordis, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Ye schulen seie these thingis to youre lordis,

5 Ich habe die Erde, die Menschen und die Tiere, die es auf der ganzen Erde gibt, durch meine große Kraft und meinen ausgestreckten Arm geschaffen und gebe sie, wem es mir beliebt.

Y made erthe, and man, and beestis that ben on the face of al erthe, in my greet strengthe, and in myn arm holdun forth; and Y yaf it to hym that plesyde bifore myn iyen.

6 So habe ich nunmehr alle diese Länder der Gewalt meines Kneches Nebukadnezar, des Königs von Babylon, übergeben und sogar die Tiere des Feldes ihm gegeben, daß sie ihm dienstbar seien.

And now therfor Y yaf alle these londis in the hond of Nabugodonosor, my seruaunt, the kyng of Babiloyne; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of the feeld, that thei serue hym.

7 So sollen denn alle Völker ihm und seinem Sohne und seinem Enkel untertan sein, bis auch für sein Land die Zeit gekommen ist, wo mächtige Völker und große Könige ihn sich untertan machen.

And alle folkis schulen serue hym, and his sone, and the sone of his sone, til the tyme of his lond and of hym come; and many folkis and grete kyngis schulen serue hym.

8 Dasjenige Volk und Reich aber, das ihm, dem babylonischen König Nebukadnezar, sich nicht unterwirft und seinen Nacken nicht in das Joch des babylonischen Königs stecken will, ein solches Volk‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – ›will ich mit dem Schwert, mit Hunger und mit der Pest heimsuchen, bis ich es durch seine Hand gänzlich vernichtet habe.

Forsothe the folk and rewme that serueth not Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, and whoeuer bowith not his necke vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, Y schal visite on that folk in swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, seith the Lord, til Y waaste hem in his hond.

9 So hört ihr nun nicht auf eure Propheten und Wahrsager, auch nicht auf eure Träume, eure Zauberer und Beschwörer, wenn sie euch bestimmt versichern: Ihr werdet dem König von Babylon nicht untertan sein müssen;

Therfor nyle ye here youre profetis, and false dyuynouris, and dremeris, and dyuyneris bi chiteryng and fleyng of briddis, and witchis, that seien to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne;

10 denn eine Lüge ist es, die sie euch weissagen, um euch aus eurem Lande in die Verbannung zu bringen, weil ich euch alsdann verstoßen werde und ihr zugrunde geht.

for thei profesien a lessyng to you, that thei make you fer fro youre lond, and caste out you, and ye perische.

11 Dasjenige Volk aber, das seinen Nacken in das Joch des babylonischen Königs steckt und ihm untertan ist, das will ich ruhig in seinem Lande belassen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, ›damit es dasselbe bebaut und darin wohnen bleibt.‹«

Certis the folk that makith suget her nol vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serueth hym, Y schal dismytte it in his lond, seith the Lord; and it schal tile that lond, and schal dwelle therynne.

12 Hierauf richtete ich an Zedekia, den König von Juda, folgende Worte in ganz demselben Sinn: »Steckt euren Nacken in das Joch des Königs von Babylon und unterwerft euch ihm und seinem Volk, so werdet ihr am Leben bleiben!

And Y spak bi alle these wordis to Sedechie, kyng of Juda, and Y seide, Make ye suget youre neckis vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serue ye hym, and his puple, and ye schulen lyue.

13 Warum wollt ihr, du und dein Volk, durch das Schwert, durch den Hunger und durch die Pest zugrunde gehen, wie der HERR dem Volke angedroht hat, das sich dem Könige von Babylon nicht unterwerfen will?

Whi schulen ye die, thou and thi puple, bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, as the Lord spak to the folk, that nolde serue to the kyng of Babiloyne?

14 Hört nur nicht auf die Reden der Propheten, die euch bestimmt versichern: ›Ihr werdet dem König von Babylon nicht untertan sein müssen!‹, denn eine Lüge ist es, die sie euch weissagen.

Nyle ye here the wordis of profetis seiynge to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne; for thei speken leesyng to you, for Y sente not hem, seith the Lord;

15 ›Denn ich habe sie nicht gesandt‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, ›vielmehr weissagen sie Falsches in meinem Namen, damit ich euch verstoße und ihr elend zugrunde geht, ihr mitsamt den Propheten, die euch weissagen.‹«

and thei profesien falsly in my name, that thei caste out you, and that ye perische, bothe ye and the profetis that profesien to you.

16 Hierauf wandte ich mich an die Priester und an das ganze hiesige Volk mit folgenden Worten: »So hat der HERR gesprochen: Hört nicht auf die Reden eurer Propheten, die vor euch die Weissagung aussprechen: ›Fürwahr, die Tempelgeräte des HERRN werden nun gar bald aus Babylon zurückgebracht werden!‹, denn eine Lüge ist es, die sie euch weissagen.

And Y spak to the preestis, and to this puple, and Y seide, The Lord God seith these thingis, Nyle ye here the wordis of youre profetis, that profesien to you, and seien, Lo! the vessels of the Lord schulen turne ayen now soone fro Babiloyne; for thei profesien a leesyng to you.

17 Hört nicht auf sie, werdet vielmehr dem König von Babylon untertan, so werdet ihr am Leben bleiben: warum soll diese Stadt zu einer Wüste werden?

Therfor nyle ye here hem, but serue ye to the kyng of Babiloyne, that ye lyue; whi is this citee youun in to wildirnesse?

18 Sind sie aber wirklich Propheten und sind sie im Besitz des Wortes des HERRN, so mögen sie doch Fürbitte beim HERRN der Heerscharen einlegen, daß die Geräte, die noch im Tempel des HERRN und im Palast des Königs von Juda und in Jerusalem übriggeblieben sind, nicht auch noch nach Babylon kommen!

And if thei ben profetis, and if the word of God is in hem, renne thei to the Lord of oostis, that the vessels whiche weren left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the kyng of Juda, and in Jerusalem, come not in to Babiloyne.

19 Denn so hat der HERR der Heerscharen bezüglich der Säulen und bezüglich des großen Wasserbeckens sowie bezüglich der Gestühle und der sonstigen Geräte gesprochen, die in dieser Stadt noch zurückgeblieben sind,

For the Lord of oostis seith these thingis to the pilers, and to the see, that is, a greet waischyng vessel, and to the foundementis, and to the remenauntis of vessels, that weren left in this citee,

20 weil Nebukadnezar, der König von Babylon, sie nicht mitgenommen hat, als er Jechonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, aus Jerusalem nach Babylon in die Gefangenschaft wegführte samt allen vornehmen Männern Judas und Jerusalems –

whiche Nabugodonosor, king of Babiloyne, took not, whanne he translatide Jeconye, the sone of Joachim, king of Juda, fro Jerusalem in to Babiloyne, and alle the principal men of Juda and of Jerusalem.

21 ja, so hat der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels, bezüglich der Geräte gesprochen, die im Tempel des HERRN und im Palast des Königs von Juda und in Jerusalem noch zurückgeblieben sind:

For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis to the vessels that ben left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the king of Juda, and in Jerusalem, Tho schulen be translatid in to Babiloyne,

22 ›Nach Babylon sollen sie gebracht werden und dort bleiben bis zu dem Tage, an dem ich wieder nach ihnen sehen werde‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – ›und ich sie wieder herschaffe und an diesen Ort zurückbringe.‹«

and schulen be there `til to the dai of her visitacioun, seith the Lord; and Y schal make tho to be brouyt, and to be restorid in this place.
