Jesaja 9
1 Doch das Land, wo jetzt Bedrängnis herrscht, wird nicht umnachtet bleiben. Wie die frühere Zeit Schmach über das Land Sebulon und über das Land Naphthali gebracht hat, so wird die Folgezeit die Straße am See, das Land jenseits des Jordans, den Bezirk der Heiden, zu Ehren bringen.
For not gloom [will belong] to [that] which distress [belonged] to it like the time former he treated with contempt [the] land of Zebulun and [the] land of Naphtali and the latter [time] he will make honored [the] way of the sea [the] other side of the Jordan Galilee of the nations.
2 Das Volk, das in Finsternis wandelt, wird ein großes Licht erblicken, über denen, die in umnachtetem Lande wohnen, wird Licht aufstrahlen.
The people which walk in the darkness they will see a light great [those who] dwell in a land of deep darkness a light it will shine on them.
3 Du wirst des Jubels viel schaffen, wirst die Freude groß werden lassen; sie werden sich vor dir freuen, wie man sich in der Ernte freut, wie man jubelt beim Beuteverteilen.
You will multiply the nation (to it *Q(K)*) you will magnify the rejoicing they will rejoice before you like [the] rejoicing at the harvest just as people are glad when divide they plunder.
4 Denn das Joch, das schwer auf ihnen lastete, und die Stäbe auf ihrem Nacken, den Stecken ihres Treibers zerbrichst du wie einst am Tage der Midianiterschlacht.
For - [the] yoke of burden its and [the] staff of shoulder its [the] rod of the [one who] oppresses it you will shatter like [the] day of Midian.
5 Ja, alle Stiefel der dröhnend einherschreitenden Krieger und die blutgetränkten Mäntel werden verbrannt werden, ein Fraß des Feuers.
For every boot [which] marches with shaking and cloak rolled in blood and it will be for burning fuel of a fire.
6 Denn ein Kind wird uns geboren, ein Sohn uns geschenkt werden, auf dessen Schulter die Herrschaft ruhen wird; und sein Name lautet »Wunderrat, Heldengott, Ewigvater, Friedefürst.«
For a child he will be born to us a son he will be given to us and it was the dominion on shoulder his and someone called name his a wonder a counselor God mighty father of perpetuity prince of peace.
7 Seine Herrschaft wird weit reichen, und des Friedens wird kein Ende sein über dem Throne Davids und für seine Königsherrschaft, indem er sie festigt und stützt durch Recht und Gerechtigkeit von nun an bis in Ewigkeit: der Eifer des HERRN der Heerscharen wird dies vollführen.
(To [the] increase of *Q(K)*) the dominion and to peace there not [will be] an end on [the] throne of David and over kingdom his to establish it and to sustain it in justice and in righteousness from now and until perpetuity [the] zeal of Yahweh of hosts it will accomplish this.
8 Ein Wort hat der Allherr gegen Jakob gesandt, und auf Israel ist es niedergefallen.
A word he has sent [the] Lord in Jacob and it will fall on Israel.
9 Und das ganze Volk wird es zu fühlen bekommen, Ephraim und die Bewohner Samarias, die da in Hochmut und hoffärtigem Sinn gesagt haben:
And they will know the people all of it Ephraim and [the] inhabitant[s] of Samaria with pride and with greatness of heart saying.
10 »Ziegelmauern sind eingestürzt, doch mit Quadersteinen führen wir den Bau wieder auf; Maulbeerbäume sind abgehauen worden, doch Zedern setzen wir an ihre Stelle!«
Bricks they have fallen and hewn [stone] we will rebuild sycamores they have been cut down and cedars we will substitute.
11 So verlieh denn der HERR den Gegnern Rezins die Übermacht über sie und stachelte seine Feinde an,
And he set on high Yahweh [the] opponents of Rezin against him and enemies his he provoked.
12 nämlich die Syrer im Osten und die Philister im Westen, daß sie Israel mit vollem Munde fraßen. Trotz alledem ließ sein Zorn nicht nach, und sein Arm blieb noch immer hoch erhoben.
Aram from [the] east and Philistines from [the] west and they consumed Israel with all [the] mouth for all this not it has turned back anger his and still hand his [is] stretched out.
13 Aber das Volk kehrte nicht zu dem zurück, der es geschlagen hatte, und nach dem HERRN der Heerscharen fragten sie nicht.
And the people not it has turned back to the [one who] struck it and Yahweh of hosts not they have sought.
14 Da hieb der HERR beides von Israel ab, Kopf und Schwanz, Palmzweig und Binse an einem Tage –
And he cut off Yahweh from Israel head and tail palm branch and bulrush day one.
15 die Vornehmen und Hochangesehenen, die sind der Kopf, und die Propheten, welche Lügen lehren, die sind der Schwanz –;
An old [man] and [one] uplifted of face he [is] the head and a prophet [who] teaches falsehood he [is] the tail.
16 und die Führer dieses Volkes waren Irreleiter, und die sich von ihnen führen ließen, wurden ins Verderben gestürzt.
And they were [the] guides the people this misleading and [those who] were guided by him [were] confused.
17 Darum freute der Allherr sich nicht ihrer jungen Mannschaft und erbarmte sich nicht ihrer Waisen und Witwen; denn sie sind allesamt ruchlose Frevler, und jeder Mund redet Gottlosigkeit. Trotz alledem ließ sein Zorn nicht nach, und sein Arm blieb noch immer hoch erhoben.
There-fore on young men its not he rejoices - [the] Lord and fatherless ones its and widows its not he has compassion on for all of it [is] godless and doing evil and every mouth [is] speaking disgraceful folly for all this not it has turned back anger his and still hand his [is] stretched out.
18 Denn der Frevel brannte wie Feuer, das Dornen und Gestrüpp verzehrt und in den Dickichten des Waldes lodert, so daß sie als hohe Rauchsäulen aufwirbeln.
For it has burned like fire wickedness thorn[s] and bush[es] it consumes and it has kindled [the] thickets of the forest and they have swirled a rising up of smoke.
19 Durch den Grimm des HERRN der Heerscharen wurde das Land in Brand gesetzt, so daß das Volk wie zu einem Fraß der Flammen wurde: keiner übte Schonung gegen den andern.
By [the] wrath of Yahweh of hosts it has been scorched [the] land and it was the people like fuel of a fire each brother his not they spared.
20 Man verschlang zur Rechten und blieb doch hungrig; man fraß zur Linken und wurde doch nicht satt: jeder verzehrte das Fleisch seines eigenen Armes,
And it devoured on [the] right [side] and it was hungry and it ate on [the] left [side] and not they were satisfied everyone [the] flesh of own arm his they ate.
21 nämlich Manasse den Ephraim und Ephraim den Manasse; vereint fielen sie beide über Juda her. Trotz alledem ließ sein Zorn nicht nach, und sein Arm blieb noch immer hoch erhoben.
Manasseh Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh together they on Judah for all this not it has turned back anger his and still hand his [is] stretched out.
