Jesaja 46
1 Bel ist niedergesunken, es krümmt sich Nebo: ihre Götzenbilder werden den Saumtieren und dem Lastvieh zugewiesen, die Bilder, die ihr vordem umhertrugt, sind als Last dem müden Vieh aufgepackt!
Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth; their idols are upon the beasts, and upon the cattle; the things that ye carried about are made a load, a burden to the weary beast.
2 Ja, sie krümmen sich, sind allesamt niedergesunken, haben die Last nicht in Sicherheit zu bringen vermocht; und sie selbst müssen mit in die Gefangenschaft wandern!
They stoop, they bow down together, they could not deliver the burden; and themselves are gone into captivity.
3 »Höret mich an, ihr vom Hause Jakob und der gesamte Rest vom Hause Israel, die ihr vom Mutterleibe an mir aufgeladen, vom Mutterschoße an von mir getragen worden seid!
Hearken unto Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that are borne by Me from the birth, that are carried from the womb:
4 Auch bis in euer Greisenalter bleibe ich derselbe, und bis ihr grau geworden seid, will ich als Last euch tragen; ich habe es bisher getan, und ich will euch auch fernerhin tragen, ja ich will beladen bleiben und erretten.
Even to old age I am the same, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.
5 Wem wollt ihr mich vergleichen und an die Seite stellen und wem mich ähnlich erklären, daß wir einander glichen?
To whom will ye liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like?
6 Da schütten sie Gold aus dem Beutel und wägen Silber mit der Waage ab, dingen sich einen Goldschmied, daß er einen Gott daraus mache, den sie dann verehren, ja vor dem sie sich niederwerfen.
Ye that lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance; ye that hire a goldsmith, that he make it a god, to fall down thereto, yea, to worship.
7 Sie heben ihn auf die Schulter, tragen ihn umher, stellen ihn dann an seinen Platz: da bleibt er stehen, ohne sich von seiner Stelle zu rühren; ruft man ihm auch zu, so antwortet er doch nicht, kann keinen aus seiner Not retten.«
He is borne upon the shoulder, he is carried, and set in his place, and he standeth, from his place he doth not remove; yea, though one cry unto him, he cannot answer, nor save him out of his trouble.
8 »Bedenkt das wohl und zeigt euch festen Sinnes, nehmt es zu Herzen, ihr Abtrünnigen!
Remember this, and stand fast; bring it to mind, O ye transgressors.
9 Denkt an die früheren Geschehnisse zurück von der Urzeit her, daß ich Gott bin und sonst keiner, eine Gottheit, der nichts vergleichbar ist!
Remember the former things of old: that I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me;
10 Ich habe von Anfang an den Ausgang kundgetan und seit der Vorzeit das, was noch ungeschehen war; ich gebiete: ›Mein Ratschluß soll zustande kommen!‹, und alles, was mir beliebt, führe ich aus;
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying: 'My counsel shall stand, and all My pleasure will I do';
11 ich rufe von Osten her den Stoßvogel herbei, aus fernem Lande den Mann meiner Wahl; wie ich es ausgesprochen habe, so lasse ich es auch eintreten; wie ich es mir vorgenommen habe, so führe ich es auch aus.
Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of My counsel from a far country; yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass, I have purposed, I will also do it.
12 Hört auf mich, ihr Starrsinnigen, die ihr fern seid von Gerechtigkeit!
Hearken unto Me, ye stout-hearted, that are far from righteousness:
13 Ich habe meinen Gerechtigkeitserweis nahe gebracht: er ist nicht mehr fern, und meine Rettung läßt nicht auf sich warten; nein, in Zion will ich Rettung erscheinen lassen und für Israel meine Herrlichkeit.«
I bring near My righteousness, it shall not be far off, and My salvation shall not tarry; and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel My glory.
