Jesaja 12

1 An jenem Tage aber wirst du beten: »Ich danke dir, HERR! Denn bist du auch erzürnt gegen mich gewesen, so hat dein Zorn sich doch wieder gelegt, und du hast mich wieder getröstet.

And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

2 Fürwahr, Gott ist mein Heil: ich bin voller Zuversicht und fürchte mich nicht! Denn Gott, der HERR, ist meine Stärke und mein Lobgesang, und er ist mir ein Retter geworden!«

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

3 Und ihr werdet mit Jubel Wasser aus den Quellen des Heils schöpfen

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

4 und an jenem Tage sprechen: »Danket dem HERRN, ruft seinen Namen aus, macht unter den Völkern seine Großtaten bekannt, rühmet, daß sein Name erhaben ist!

And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 Lobsinget dem HERRN, denn Herrliches hat er vollbracht: das muß auf der ganzen Erde kund werden!

Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth.

6 Jauchzet und jubelt, ihr Bewohner Zions, denn groß ist in eurer Mitte der Heilige Israels!«

Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
