Hosea 2
1 Sagt zu eurem Bruder: »Mein Volk« und zu eurer Schwester »Gnadenreiche«!
Say to brothers your people my and to sisters your she is Shown Compassion.
2 »Stellt eure Mutter zur Rede, ja, zur Rede – sie ist ja nicht mehr mein Weib, und ich bin nicht ihr Mann –, daß sie die (Zeichen ihrer) Buhlerei aus ihrem Gesicht und die (Zeichen ihrer) Ehebrecherei von ihrem Busen wegschaffe!
Conduct a case with mother your conduct a case for she not [is] wife my and I not [am] husband her and let her remove prostitution her from face her and adulteries her from between breasts her.
3 Sonst werde ich sie nackt ausziehen und sie so hinstellen, wie sie am Tage ihrer Geburt war, mache sie der Wüste gleich, lasse sie werden wie Ödland und lasse sie vor Durst sterben.
Lest I should strip her naked and I will exhibit her like [the] day was born she and I will make her like wilderness and I will make her like a land dry and I should make die her with thirst.
4 Auch ihren Kindern will ich keine Liebe mehr erweisen, weil sie Kinder einer Dirne sind;
And children her not I will have compassion on for [are] children of prostitution they.
5 denn ihre Mutter hat Ehebruch begangen, ihre Erzeugerin sich mit Schande bedeckt; sie hat ja doch gesagt: ›Ich will meinen Liebhabern nachgehen, die mir mein Brot und mein Wasser, meine Wolle und meinen Flachs, mein Öl und meine Getränke geben!‹
For she has prostituted herself mother their she has acted shamefully [the] [one who] conceived them for she said I will go after lovers my [who] give food my and water my wool my and flax my oil my and drinks my.
6 Darum will ich ihr nunmehr den Weg mit Dornen verzäunen und eine Mauer vor ihr aufführen, daß sie ihre Pfade nicht mehr finden soll.
Therefore here I [am] about to fence up way your with thorns and I will wall up wall her and paths her not she will find.
7 Wenn sie dann ihren Buhlen nachläuft, ohne sie zu erreichen, und wenn sie nach ihnen sucht, ohne sie zu finden, so wird sie sagen: ›Ich will mich (lieber) aufmachen und zu meinem ersten Manne zurückkehren; denn damals ging es mir besser als jetzt.‹
And she will pursue lovers her and not she will overtake them and she will seek them and not she will find [them] and she will say I will go and I will return to husband my former for it was good for me then more than now.
8 Sie ist sich (aber) nicht bewußt geworden, daß ich es bin, der ihr das Getreide, den Wein und das Öl gegeben und ihr das viele Silber und Gold geschenkt hat, das sie für den Baalsdienst verwandt haben.
And she not she knows that I I gave to her the grain and the new wine and the fresh oil and silver I multiplied to her and gold [which] they made into Baal.
9 Darum will ich mein Getreide zu seiner Zeit und meinen Wein zur bestimmten Stunde zurückhalten und will ihr meine Wolle und meinen Flachs entziehen, die ihr zur Bekleidung dienen sollten.
Therefore I will return and I will take grain my at appropriate time its and new wine my at appointed time its and I will take away wool my and flax my to cover nakedness her.
10 Vielmehr will ich nunmehr ihre Blöße vor den Augen ihrer Buhlen aufdecken – niemand soll sie meiner Hand entreißen! –,
And now I will uncover lewdness her to [the] eyes of lovers her and anyone not he will deliver her from hand my.
11 und ich will all ihrer Lust ein Ende machen, ihren Festen und Neumonden, ihren Sabbaten und all ihren Feiertagen,
And I will put an end to all gaiety her festival[s] her new moon[s] her and sabbath[s] her and every appointed feast her.
12 und will ihre Weinstöcke und ihre Feigenbäume verwüsten, von denen sie gesagt hat: ›Diese sind mein Buhllohn, den meine Liebhaber mir gegeben haben.‹ Ich will sie in eine Wildnis verwandeln, daß die Tiere des Feldes sie abfressen.
And I will devastate vine[s] her and fig tree[s] her which she said [are] wage[s] they of me which they gave to me lovers my and I will make them into a thicket and it will consume them [the] animal[s] of the field.
13 So will ich das Strafgericht für die Festtage der Baalgötzen an ihr vollziehen, an denen sie ihnen Rauchopfer dargebracht und sich mit ihren Ringen und Geschmeiden geschmückt hat und ihren Buhlen nachgelaufen ist, während sie mich vergaß!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.
And I will visit on her [the] days of the Baals when she made smoke to them and she ornamented herself ring[s] her and jewelry her and she went after lovers her and me she forgot [the] utterance of Yahweh.
14 »Darum wisse wohl: ich will sie locken und sie in die Wüste führen und ihr dort zu Herzen reden
Therefore here! I [am] about to persuade her and I will lead her the wilderness and I will speak (to *L(abh)*) heart her.
15 und will ihr von dort aus ihre Weinberge wieder zuweisen und das Tal Achor zur Pforte der Hoffnung machen. Dann wird sie dort willfährig werden wie in den Tagen ihrer Jugend, wie zu der Zeit, als sie aus dem Lande Ägypten heraufzog.
And I will give to her vineyards her from there and [the] valley of Achor to a door of hope and she will answer there like [the] days of youth her and like [the] day went up she from [the] land of Egypt.
16 Alsdann, an jenem Tage« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – »wirst du mich ›mein Mann‹ nennen und mich nicht mehr ›mein Baal‹ nennen;
And it will be in the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh you will call husband my and not you will call me again Baal my.
17 und ich will die Namen der Baalgötzen aus ihrem Munde verschwinden lassen, so daß sie fortan mit ihren Namen nicht mehr angerufen werden.
And I will remove [the] names of the Baals from mouth her and not they will be remembered again by name their.
18 Ich will auch an jenem Tage einen Bund zu ihren Gunsten mit den Tieren des Feldes, mit den Vögeln des Himmels und mit dem Gewürm des Erdbodens schließen, will Bogen, Schwerter und alles Kriegsgerät zerbrechen und aus dem Lande wegschaffen und sie in Sicherheit sich niederlegen lassen.
And I will make to them a covenant in the day that with [the] animal[s] of the field and with [the] bird[s] of the heavens and [the] creeping thing[s] of the ground and bow and sword and battle I will break from the land and I will make lie down them to security.
19 Und ich will dich mir verloben auf ewig, ja, ich will dich mir verloben auf Grund von Gerechtigkeit und Recht, in Liebe und Erbarmen,
And I will betroth you to myself for ever and I will betroth you to myself in righteousness and in justice and in covenant loyalty and in compassion.
20 und will dich mir verloben in Treue, und du sollst mich, den HERRN, erkennen lernen.
And I will betroth you to myself in faithfulness and you will know Yahweh.
21 Und dann, an jenem Tage, da werde ich willfährig sein« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, »da werde ich dem Himmel zu Willen sein, und dieser wird der Erde zu Willen sein,
And it will be - in the day that I will answer [the] utterance of Yahweh I will answer the heavens and they they will answer the earth.
22 und die Erde wird dem Getreide, dem Most und dem Öl zu Willen sein, und diese werden Jesreel zu Willen sein.
And the earth it will answer the grain and the new wine and the fresh oil and they they will answer Jezreel.
23 Und ich will sie mir im Lande fest einpflanzen und der ›Ungeliebten‹ Liebe erweisen und will zum ›Nicht-mein-Volk‹ sagen: ›Mein Volk bist du!‹, und dieses wird rufen: ›Mein Gott (bist du)!‹«
And I will sow her for myself in the land and I will have compassion on Lo-Ruhamah and I will say to Not-People My [are] people my you and he he will say God my.
