Hesekiel 43
1 Als er mich hierauf zum Tor, zu dem nach Osten gerichteten Tore, zurückgeführt hatte,
Then did he lead me to the gate, even the gate that was turned in an eastern direction.
2 erschien plötzlich die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels von Osten her; ihr Rauschen schallte wie das Rauschen gewaltiger Wasserfluten, und die Erde leuchtete von seiner Herrlichkeit.
And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east; and his voice was like a noise of many waters; and the earth gave light from his glory.
3 Die Erscheinung, die sich mir darbot, glich der Erscheinung, die ich geschaut hatte, als er gekommen war, um die Stadt zu vernichten, und die Erscheinung des Wagens, den ich erblickte, war dieselbe Erscheinung, die ich schon am Flusse Kebar gesehen hatte; und ich warf mich auf mein Angesicht nieder.
And it was like the appearance of the vision which I had seen, yea, like the vision that I had seen when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I had seen by the river Kebar: and I fell upon my face.
4 Als dann die Herrlichkeit des HERRN durch das nach Osten gerichtete Tor in den Tempelbezirk eingezogen war,
And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate which was turned in an eastern direction.
5 hob die Gotteskraft mich empor und brachte mich in den inneren Vorhof; und siehe da: der Tempel war von der Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllt.
Then did the Spirit take me up, and bring me into the inner court: and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
6 Da hörte ich, wie jemand vom Tempel her mich anredete, während der Mann noch neben mir stand.
And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and a man was standing alongside of me.
7 Und jener sagte zu mir: »Menschensohn, dies ist die Stätte meines Thrones und (dies) die Stätte meiner Fußsohlen, wo ich für immer inmitten der Kinder Israel wohnen will. Das Haus Israel wird aber hinfort meinen heiligen Namen nicht mehr entweihen, weder sie noch ihre Könige, durch ihre Abgötterei und durch die Leichen ihrer Könige bei deren Tode,
And he said unto me, Son of man, [this] is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever: and the house of Israel shall not defile any more my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their lewdness, nor by the carcasses of their kings on their high-places.
8 dadurch daß sie ihre Schwelle an meiner Schwelle und ihre Türpfosten neben den meinigen anbrachten, so daß sich nur die Wand zwischen mir und ihnen befand und sie so meinen heiligen Namen durch ihre Greuel entweihten, die sie verübten, so daß ich sie in meinem Zorn vernichtete.
Inasmuch as they placed their threshold by my threshold, and their door-posts close by my door-posts, and the wall being only between me and them, and they defiled my holy name by their abominations which they committed; so that I made an end of them in my anger.
9 Wenn sie nunmehr aber ihre Abgötterei und die Leichen ihrer Könige fern von mir halten, dann will ich für immer unter ihnen wohnen.
Now will they have to put away their lewdness, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
10 Du aber, Menschensohn, erstatte dem Hause Israel Bericht über diesen Tempel, damit sie sich ihrer Verschuldungen schämen.
Thou, son of man, tell the house of Israel of the house, that they may be confounded because of their iniquities: and let them measure the outlines.
11 Wenn sie sich dann alles dessen schämen, was sie begangen haben, dann laß sie den Bauplan des Tempels und seine Einrichtung, seine Aus- und Eingänge, seine ganze Gestalt und alle für ihn gültigen Satzungen und Bestimmungen wissen und schreibe es vor ihren Augen auf, damit sie auf seine ganze Gestaltung und alle für ihn gültigen Anordnungen achtgeben und sie zur Ausführung bringen.
And if they be confounded because of all that they have done: then let them know the form of the house, and its arrangements, and its means of egress, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its statutes, and all its forms, and all its laws, and write them down before their eyes; that they may observe the whole of its form, and all its statutes, and carry them out.
12 Dies ist die für den Tempel gültige Ordnung: ›Auf dem Gipfel des Berges soll er liegen und sein ganzer Bezirk ringsum hochheilig sein!‹ Siehe, dies ist die für den Tempel gültige Ordnung!«
This is the law for the house, Upon the top of the mount shall its whole limit all round about be most holy: behold, this is the law for the house.
13 Dies nun waren die Maße des Altars nach Ellen, die Elle zu einer gewöhnlichen Elle und einer Handbreite gerechnet: seine Grundeinfassung war eine Elle hoch und eine Elle breit, und die Randleiste an ihrem Rande ringsum eine Spanne hoch. Und dies war die Höhe des Altars:
And these are the measures of the altar in cubits, The cubit is a cubit and a hand-breadth; and the bottom shall be a cubit high, and a cubit broad, and its border on its edge round about shall be a span: and this shall be the outside of the altar.
14 von der Grundeinfassung am Boden bis zu der unteren Umfriedigung zwei Ellen Höhe und eine Elle Breite; dann von der kleinen Umfriedigung bis zu der großen Umfriedigung vier Ellen Höhe und eine Elle Breite;
And from the bottom upon the ground up to the lower projection shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser projection up to the greater projection shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
15 dann der Opferherd vier Ellen Höhe; und vom Opferherd ragten die vier Hörner (eine Elle) empor.
And the upper portion of the altar shall be four cubits; and from the upper surface of the altar and upward shall be the four horns.
16 Der Opferherd war zwölf Ellen lang bei zwölf Ellen Breite, quadratförmig an seinen vier Seiten.
And the upper surface of the altar shall be twelve cubits long, by twelve broad, square on its four sides.
17 Die große Umfriedigung hatte vierzehn Ellen Länge bei vierzehn Ellen Breite, so daß ihre vier Seiten ein Quadrat bildeten; und die Randleiste rings um sie herum war eine halbe Elle breit und die Grundeinfassung an ihr eine Elle (breit) ringsum. Die Stufen des Altars aber befanden sich auf der Ostseite.
And the projection shall be fourteen cubits in length, by fourteen in breadth on its four sides; and the border round about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.
18 Hierauf sagte er zu mir: »Menschensohn, so spricht Gott der HERR: ›Dies sind die Satzungen, die für den Altar gültig sind an dem Tage, wo er hergestellt sein wird, daß man Brandopfer auf ihm darbringe und Blut auf ihn sprenge.
And he said unto me, Son of man, thus hath said the Lord Eternal, These are the statutes of the altar on the day when it shall be finished, to offer thereon burnt-offerings, and to sprinkle thereon blood.
19 Da sollst du den levitischen Priestern, die zu den Nachkommen Zadoks gehören und die mir nahen dürfen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –, ›um meinen Dienst zu versehen, einen jungen Stier zum Sündopfer geben,
And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who approach unto me, saith the Lord Eternal, to minister unto me, a young bullock for a sin-offering.
20 und sie sollen etwas von seinem Blute nehmen und es an die vier Hörner des Altars tun und an die vier Ecken der Umfriedigung und an die Randleiste ringsum, um ihn so zu entsündigen und die Sühne für ihn zu vollziehen.
And thou shalt take of his blood, and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the projection, and upon the border round about; and thou shalt cleanse it and make an atonement for it.
21 Alsdann sollen sie den zum Sündopfer dienenden Stier nehmen, damit man ihn auf dem dazu bestimmten Platze des Tempelbezirks außerhalb des Heiligtums verbrenne.
And thou shalt take the bullock of the sin-offering, and some one shall burn him at an appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
22 Am zweiten Tage aber sollen sie einen fehllosen Ziegenbock als Sündopfer darbringen und mit ihm den Altar entsündigen, wie sie ihn mit dem Stier entsündigt haben.
And on the second day shalt thou offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering: and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
23 Wenn sie dann mit der Entsündigung fertig sind, sollen sie einen fehllosen jungen Stier von den Rindern und einen fehllosen Widder vom Kleinvieh opfern;
When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, shalt thou offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
24 die sollen sie vor den HERRN bringen und [die Priester sollen] Salz auf sie streuen und sie dem HERRN als Brandopfer darbringen.
And thou shalt bring them near before the Lord, and the priests shall throw salt upon them, and they shall offer them up as a burnt-offering unto the Lord.
25 Sieben Tage lang sollen sie so täglich einen Bock als Sündopfer darbringen; auch einen jungen Stier von den Rindern und einen Widder vom Kleinvieh, fehllose Tiere, sollen sie opfern.
Seven days shalt thou prepare a goat for a sin-offering every day; and a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish shall they prepare.
26 Sieben Tage lang sollen sie so die Entsündigung des Altars vornehmen und ihn reinigen und ihn so einweihen.
Seven days shall they atone for the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate the same.
27 Wenn man dann mit diesen Tagen zu Ende ist, sollen die Priester am achten Tage und weiterhin eure Brand- und Heilsopfer auf dem Altar darbringen, und ich werde euch gnädig annehmen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
And when these days are expired, it shall be, that on the eighth day, and thenceforward, the priests shall prepare upon the altar your burnt-offerings, and your peace-offerings: and I will accept you in favor, saith the Lord Eternal.
