Hesekiel 35
1 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 »Menschensohn, richte deine Blicke gegen das Gebirge Seir und verkünde folgende Weissagungen gegen dasselbe:
O son of humankind set face your on [the] mountain of Seir and prophesy on it.
3 ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Nunmehr will ich an dich, Gebirge Seir, ich will meine Hand gegen dich ausstrecken und dich zur Wüste und Einöde machen!
And you will say to it thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] against you O mountain of Seir and I will stretch out hand my on you and I will make you a desolation and a waste.
4 Deine Städte will ich in Trümmer legen, und du selbst sollst zur Wüste werden, damit du erkennst, daß ich der HERR bin!
Cities your a ruin I will make and you a desolation you will be and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
5 Weil du immerfort Feindschaft gehegt und die Israeliten zur Zeit ihres Unglücks, zur Zeit, als sie ihre Schuld endgültig büßten, dem Schwert ausgeliefert hast:
Because belonged to you enmity of antiquity and you poured [the] people of Israel over [the] hands of [the] sword at [the] time of disaster their at a time of punishment of [the] end.
6 darum, so wahr ich lebe!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –: ›bluten will ich dich machen, und Blut soll dich verfolgen! Weil du dich durch Blutvergießen verschuldet hast, soll Blut dich verfolgen!
Therefore [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh that to blood I will appoint you and blood it will pursue you if not blood you have hated and blood it will pursue you.
7 Ich will das Gebirge Seir zur Wüste und Einöde machen und alle in ihm ausrotten, die da hin- und herziehen.
And I will make [the] mountain of Seir into a desolation and a desolation and I will cut off from it [one who] passes through and [one who] returns.
8 Und ich will seine Berge überall mit Erschlagenen bedecken: auf deinen Höhen, in deinen Tälern und in allen deinen Schluchten sollen vom Schwert Erschlagene niedersinken.
And I will fill mountains its slain [ones] its hills your and valleys your and all ravines your [those] slain of a sword they will fall in them.
9 Zu ewigen Wüsteneien will ich dich machen, und deine Städte sollen unbewohnt sein, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich der HERR bin.
Desolations of perpetuity I will make you and cities your not (they will return *Q(K)*) and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
10 Weil du gesagt hast: Die beiden Völker und die beiden Länder müssen mein werden, und ich will sie in Besitz nehmen! – obwohl doch der HERR dort wohnt:
Because saying you [the] two the nations and [the] two the lands to me they will belong and we will take possession of it and Yahweh there he was.
11 darum, so wahr ich lebe!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –, ›will ich entsprechend deinem eigenen Zorn und Eifer mit dir verfahren, wie du infolge deines Hasses gegen sie verfahren bist, und ich will mich dir zu erkennen geben, wenn ich mit dir ins Gericht gehe.
Therefore [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will act according to anger your and according to jealousy your which you did from hatred your with them and I will make myself known among them when I will judge you.
12 Dann wirst du auch erkennen, daß ich, der HERR, alle deine Lästerungen gehört habe, die du gegen das Bergland Israel ausgestoßen hast, indem du sagtest: Wüst liegt es da: uns ist es zum Verspeisen gegeben!
And you will know that I Yahweh I have heard - all insults your which you have said on [the] mountains of Israel saying - (they have been desolated *Q(K)*) to us they have been given for devouring.
13 So habt ihr den Mund voll gegen mich genommen und vermessene Reden gegen mich ausgestoßen; ich habe es wohl gehört!‹
And you have magnified yourselves on me with mouth your and you have multiplied on me words your I I have heard.
14 So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: ›Zur Freude der ganzen Erde will ich Verwüstung über dich bringen!
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh when rejoices all the earth desolation I will make for you.
15 Wie du dich darüber gefreut hast, daß der Erbbesitz des Hauses Israel verwüstet wurde, ebenso will ich es dir widerfahren lassen: zur Wüste sollst du werden, Gebirge Seir, und du, Edom, insgesamt, damit du zur Erkenntnis kommst, daß ich der HERR bin!‹«
According to rejoicing your to [the] inheritance of [the] house of Israel on that it had been desolated so I will do to you a desolation you will be O mountain of Seir and all Edom all of it and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.
