Hesekiel 27
1 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
2 »Du, Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied über Tyrus an
Sonne of man, take vp a lametation for Tyrus,
3 und sprich zu Tyrus: ›(O Stadt), die du wohnst am Zugang zum Meer und Handel mit den Völkern treibst nach den vielen Meeresländern hin: so hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Tyrus, du hast gedacht: Ich bin ein Schiff, vollkommen an Schönheit!
And say vnto Tyrus, that is situate at the entrie of the sea, which is the marte of the people for many yles, Thus sayeth the Lord God, O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfite beautie.
4 Dein Gebiet liegt im Herzen der Meere; deine Erbauer haben dich zu (einem Schiff von) vollendeter Schönheit gemacht.
Thy borders are in the middes of the sea, and thy builders haue made thee of perfit beauty.
5 Aus Zypressen vom Senir haben sie dir alles Plankenwerk gebaut und eine Zeder vom Libanon genommen, um den Mastbaum auf dir daraus zu fertigen.
They haue made all thy shippe boardes of firre trees of Shenir: they haue brought cedars from Lebanon, to make mastes for thee.
6 Aus Eichen von Basan haben sie deine Ruder hergestellt, dein Verdeck aus Edeltannenholz [mit Elfenbein ausgelegt] von den Eilanden der Kitthäer.
Of ye okes of Bashan haue they made thine ores: the company of the Assyrians haue made thy banks of yuorie, brought out of ye yles of Chittim.
7 Feine Leinwand mit Buntstickerei aus Ägypten war dein Segel, um dir als Flagge zu dienen; blauer und roter Purpur von den Gestaden Elisas war deine Überdachung.
Fine linen with broydered woorke, brought from Egypt, was spread ouer thee to be thy sayle, blue silke and purple, brought from the yles of Elishah, was thy couering.
8 Die Einwohner von Sidon und Arwad dienten dir als Ruderer; die erfahrensten Männer aus deiner eigenen Mitte waren deine Steuerleute;
The inhabitants of Zidon, and Aruad were thy mariners, O Tyrus: thy wise men that were in thee, they were thy pilots.
9 die Ältesten von Gebal und die dortigen Meister waren in dir als Ausbesserer deiner Lecke. Alle Seeschiffe samt ihrer Bemannung fanden sich bei dir ein, um Tauschhandel mit dir zu treiben.
The ancients of Gebal, and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers, all the shippes of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupie thy marchandise.
10 Perser und Put und Lud dienten dir in deinem Heer als deine Kriegsleute; Schild und Helm hängten sie bei dir auf, die verliehen dir Glanz.
They of Persia, and of Lud and of Phut were in thine armie: thy men of warre they hanged the shielde and helmet in thee: they set foorth thy beautie.
11 Männer aus Arwad und deine eigene Heeresmacht standen auf deinen Mauern ringsum und Gammadäer auf deinen Türmen; ihre Schilde hängten sie ringsum an deinen Mauern auf; sie machten deine Schönheit vollkommen.
The men of Aruad with thine armie were vpon thy walles round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towres: they hanged their shields vpon thy walles round about: they haue made thy beautie perfite.
12 Tharsis trieb Handel mit dir wegen der Fülle an allerlei Gütern: mit Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei bezahlten sie deine Waren.
They of Tarshish were thy marchantes for the multitude of all riches, for siluer, yron, tynne, and leade, which they brought to thy faires.
13 Die Jonier, Tibarener und Moscher machten Handelsgeschäfte mit dir: Sklaven und eherne Geräte gaben sie dir als Zahlung beim Tauschhandel.
They of Iauan, Tubal and Meshech were thy marchants, concerning the liues of men, and they brought vessels of brasse for thy marchadise.
14 Die vom Hause Thogarma bezahlten deine Waren mit Rossen, Reitpferden und Mauleseln.
They of the house of Togarmah brought to thy faires horses, and horsemen, and mules.
15 Die Rhodier waren deine Kaufleute; zahlreiche Meeresländer standen im Verkehr mit dir: Elefantenzähne und Ebenholz lieferten sie dir als Zahlung.
The men of Dedan were thy marchantes: and the marchandise of many yles were in thine handes: they brought thee for a present hornes, teeth, and peacockes.
16 Die Syrer schlossen Geschäfte mit dir ab wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse: mit Karfunkel, rotem Purpur und bunten Geweben, mit feiner Leinwand, Korallen und Rubinen bezahlten sie deine Waren.
They of Aram were thy marchants for the multitude of thy wares: they occupied in thy faires with emerauds, purple, and broidred worke, and fine linen, and corall, and pearle.
17 Juda und das Land Israel waren deine Kaufleute: Weizen von Minnith und Wachs, Honig, Öl und Balsam gaben sie dir als Zahlung beim Tauschhandel.
They of Iudah and of the land of Israel were thy marchants: they brought for thy marchandise wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honie and oyle, and balme.
18 Damaskus trieb Handel mit dir ob der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse, wegen der Fülle an allerlei Gütern, mit Wein von Helbon und Wolle von Zahar.
They of Damascus were thy marchants in ye multitude of thy wares, for the multitude of all riches, as in the wine of Helbon and white wooll.
19 Wedan und Jawan brachten aus Usal kunstvoll geschmiedetes Eisen auf deinen Markt; Kassia und Kalmus hatten sie für dich als Tauschwaren.
They of Dan also and of Iauan, going to and from, occupied in thy faires: yron woorke, cassia and calamus were among thy marchandise.
20 Dedan trieb Handel mit dir in Satteldecken zum Reiten.
They of Dedan were thy marchants in precious clothes for the charets.
21 Arabien und alle Häuptlinge Kedars standen in Verkehr mit dir: mit Lämmern, Widdern und Böcken trieben sie Handel mit dir.
They of Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar occupied with thee, in lambes, and rammes and goates: in these were they thy marchants.
22 Die Kaufleute von Saba und Ragma handelten mit dir: mit den köstlichsten Gewürzen, mit allerlei Edelsteinen und mit Gold bezahlten sie deine Waren.
The marchats of Sheba, and Raamah were thy marchantes: they occupied in thy faires with the chiefe of all spices, and with al precious stones and golde.
23 Haran, Kanne und Eden handelten mit dir; Assur und ganz Medien waren deine Kunden;
They of Haram and Canneh and Eden, the marchants of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad were thy marchants.
24 sie handelten mit dir in Prachtgewändern, in Mänteln von blauem Purpur und buntgewirkten Stoffen, in farbenreichen Teppichen, in geflochtenen und fest gedrehten Tauen, gegen deine Waren.
These were thy marchants in all sortes of things, in raiment of blewe silke, and of broydred woorke, and in coffers for the rich apparell, which were bound with cordes: chaines also were among thy marchandise.
25 Die Schiffe von Tharsis vertrieben deine Güter im Tauschhandel, und so wurdest du mit Reichtum angefüllt und kamst zu hoher Macht inmitten der Meere.‹«
The shippes of Tarshish were thy chiefe in thy marchandise, and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the middes of the sea.
26 »›Deine Ruderer haben dich auf die hohe See hinausgeführt, doch der Ostwind bringt dich zum Scheitern inmitten des Meeres.
Thy robbers haue brought thee into great waters: the East winde hath broken thee in the middes of the sea.
27 Deine Reichtümer und Waren, deine Handelsgüter, deine Matrosen und Steuerleute, deine Leckausbesserer, deine Tauschhändler und alle deine Kriegsleute, die sich auf dir befinden, mitsamt der ganzen Volksmenge auf dir werden in die Tiefe des Meeres sinken am Tage deines Untergangs.
Thy riches and thy faires, thy marchandise, thy mariners and pilotes, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy marchandise and al thy men of warre that are in thee, and all thy multitude which is in the middes of thee, shall fall in the middes of the sea in the day of thy ruine.
28 Vom lauten Geschrei deiner Steuerleute wird die weite Meeresfläche erbeben.
The suburbes shall shake at the sound of the crie of thy pilotes.
29 Da werden dann alle, die das Ruder führen, die Seeleute und alle, die das Meer durchsteuern, aus ihren Schiffen steigen, werden ans Land treten
And all that handle the ore, the mariners and al the pilots of the sea shall come downe from their shippes, and shall stand vpon the land,
30 und lauten Wehruf über dich erschallen lassen und kläglich schreien; sie werden sich Staub aufs Haupt streuen und sich in der Asche wälzen;
And shall cause their voyce to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust vpon their heads, and wallow theselues in the ashes.
31 sie werden sich um deinetwillen kahl scheren, mit Sackleinen sich umgürten und mit bekümmertem Herzen um dich weinen in bitterer Klage.
They shall plucke off their heare for thee and gird them with a sackecloth, and they shall weepe for thee with sorow of heart and bitter mourning.
32 In ihrem Schmerz werden sie ein Klagelied über dich anstimmen und über dich wehklagen: Welcher Ort ist so totenstill wie Tyrus inmitten des Meeres!
And in their mourning, they shall take vp a lametation for thee, saying, What citie is like Tyrus, so destroied in the middes of the sea!
33 Solange deine Waren dem Meer entstiegen, hast du die Bedürfnisse vieler Völker befriedigt und durch die Fülle deiner Güter und Waren die Könige der Erde reich gemacht.
When thy wares went foorth of the seas, thou filledst many people, and thou diddest enrich the Kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy marchandise.
34 Jetzt aber, da du zertrümmert, vom Meere verschwunden, in Wassertiefen begraben bist und dein Handel und deine ganze Volksmenge mitten in dir versunken ist,
When thou shalt be broken by ye seas in the depths of the waters, thy marchandise and all thy multitude, which was in the mids of thee, shall fal.
35 entsetzen sich alle Bewohner der Meeresländer über dich, ihre Könige sind von Schauder erfaßt, ihre Angesichter zucken schmerzlich.
All the inhabitantes of the yles shall be astonished at thee, and all their Kings shall be sore afraide and troubled in their countenance.
36 Die Kaufleute in der ganzen Welt zischen über dich: ein Ende mit Schrecken hast du genommen; du bist dahin für immer!‹«
The marchants among the people shall hisse at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt be any more.
