Hesekiel 2
1 Und er sagte zu mir: »Menschensohn, tritt auf deine Füße; denn ich will mit dir reden.«
And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, stonde on thi feet, and Y schal speke with thee.
2 Als er so zu mir sprach, kam eine Gotteskraft in mich, die mich auf meine Füße treten ließ; und ich hörte den an, der mit mir redete.
And the spirit entride in to me, after that he spak to me, and settide me on my feet. And Y herde oon spekynge to me,
3 Er sagte dann zu mir: »Menschensohn! Ich sende dich zu denen vom Hause Israel, zu den abtrünnigen Stämmen, die sich gegen mich aufgelehnt haben; sie und ihre Väter sind von mir abgefallen bis auf den heutigen Tag.
and seiynge, Sone of man, Y sende thee to the sones of Israel, to folkis apostatas, `ether goynge a bak fro feith, that yeden awei fro me; the fadris of hem braken my couenaunt til to this dai.
4 Und die Söhne haben ein trotziges Gesicht und ein hartes Herz; zu ihnen sende ich dich, und du sollst zu ihnen sagen: ›So hat Gott, der HERR gesprochen!‹
And the sones ben of hard face, and of vnchastisable herte, to whiche Y sende thee. And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis;
5 Mögen sie dann darauf hören oder mögen sie es lassen – denn sie sind ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht –, so sollen sie doch erkennen, daß ein Prophet unter ihnen aufgetreten ist.
if perauenture nameli thei heren, and if perauenture thei resten, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe. And thei schulen wite, that a profete is in the myddis of hem.
6 Du aber, Menschensohn, fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen und laß dich durch ihre Reden nicht einschüchtern, ob auch Disteln und Dornen um dich sind und du unter Skorpionen wohnst: fürchte dich nicht vor ihren Reden und erschrick nicht vor ihren Mienen! Denn sie sind ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht.
Therfore thou, sone of man, drede not hem, nether drede thou the wordis of hem; for vnbileueful men and distrieris ben with thee, and thou dwellist with scorpiouns. Drede thou not the wordis of hem, and drede thou not the faces of hem, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
7 Vielmehr sollst du ihnen meine Worte verkündigen, mögen sie darauf hören oder mögen sie es lassen; denn sie sind widerspenstig!«
Therfor thou schalt speke my wordis to hem, if perauenture thei heren, and resten, for thei ben terreris to wraththe.
8 »Du aber, Menschensohn, höre, was ich dir sage: Sei du nicht widerspenstig wie das widerspenstige Geschlecht! Öffne deinen Mund und iß, was ich dir jetzt gebe!«
But thou, sone of man, here what euer thingis Y schal speke to thee; and nyle thou be a terrere to wraththe, as the hows of Israel is a terrere to wraththe. Opene thi mouth, and ete what euer thingis Y yyue to thee.
9 Als ich nun hinblickte, sah ich eine Hand, die sich mir entgegenstreckte, und in ihr befand sich eine Schriftrolle.
And Y siy, and lo! an hond was sent to me, in which a book was foldid togidere.
10 Er breitete sie vor mir aus, und sie war auf der Vorderseite und auf der Rückseite beschrieben; und zwar standen Klagen, Seufzer und Wehe auf ihr geschrieben.
And he spredde abrood it bifor me, that was writun with ynne and with outforth. And lamentaciouns, and song, and wo, weren writun ther ynne.
