Hesekiel 12
1 Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 »Menschensohn, du wohnst inmitten des widerspenstigen Geschlechts, das Augen hat zum Sehen und doch nicht sieht, das Ohren hat zum Hören und doch nicht hört; denn sie sind ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht.
Son of man, in the midst of a rebellious family art thou dwelling, who have eyes to see, and see not; who have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious family.
3 Darum du, Menschensohn: mache dir Auswanderungsgeräte zurecht und ziehe bei Tage vor ihren Augen aus und wandere vor ihren Augen von deiner Wohnstätte weg nach einem andern Ort: vielleicht kommen sie dann zur Erkenntnis, daß sie ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht sind.
But thou, O son of man, prepare for thyself vessels for going into exile, and wander away by day before their eyes; and thou shalt wander away from thy place to another place before their eyes: perhaps they may become aware that they are a rebellious family.
4 Schaffe also deine Geräte wie Auswanderungsgeräte bei Tage vor ihren Augen hinaus; du selbst aber sollst am Abend vor ihren Augen ausziehen, wie jemand auszieht, der auswandern will.
Then shalt thou carry forth thy vessels, like vessels of exile, by day before their eyes: and thou shalt go forth at evening before their eyes, as they do that go forth into exile.
5 Vor ihren Augen brich dir ein Loch durch die Wand und gehe durch dieses hinaus.
Before their eyes break a hole through the wall, and carry [them] through it.
6 Vor ihren Augen nimm (deine Geräte) auf die Schulter und in der Dunkelheit ziehe aus; das Gesicht verhülle dir, so daß du das Land nicht sehen kannst; denn ich habe dich zu einem Wahrzeichen für das Haus Israel bestimmt.«
Before their [eyes] shalt thou bear them upon thy shoulders, in the dark shalt thou carry them forth: thy face shalt thou cover, that thou mayest not see the ground; for as a token have I set thee unto the house of Israel.
7 Da tat ich so, wie mir geboten worden war: meine Geräte trug ich wie Auswanderungsgeräte hinaus, und zwar bei Tage, am Abend aber brach ich mir ein Loch durch die Wand [mit der Hand]; in der Dunkelheit ging ich hinaus und trug meine Sachen vor ihren Augen auf der Schulter.
And I did so as I had been commanded; my vessels I carried forth by day, like vessels of exile, and in the evening I broke a hole for myself through the wall with my hand: in the dark I brought them forth, and I bore them upon my shoulder before their eyes.
8 Am nächsten Morgen aber erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
And the word of the Lord came unto me in the morning, saying,
9 »Menschensohn, haben nicht die vom Hause Israel, das widerspenstige Geschlecht, dich gefragt: ›Was machst du da?‹
Son of man, have not the house of Israel, the rebellious family, said unto thee, What doest thou?
10 Sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Auf den Fürsten in Jerusalem bezieht sich dieser Gottesspruch und auf das ganze Haus Israel, das darin wohnt.
Say thou unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, For the prince in Jerusalem is the doom, and for all the house of Israel, [and those] that are in the midst of them.
11 Sage zu ihnen: Ich bin ein Wahrzeichen für euch; wie ich es hier gemacht habe, so wird es auch ihnen ergehen: in die Verbannung werden sie als Gefangene ziehen müssen.
Say, I am your token; just as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: into exile, into captivity, shall they wander.
12 Der Fürst aber, der sich mitten unter ihnen befindet, wird seine Sachen auf der Schulter tragen und sich im Finstern davonmachen; durch die Mauer wird er sich ein Loch brechen, um da hinauszuziehen; das Gesicht wird er sich verhüllen, damit er das Land mit seinen Augen nicht mehr sehe.
And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth; through the wall shall they break a hole to carry [things] through it: his face shall he cover up, that he may not see the ground with his eyes.
13 Ich werde aber mein Fangnetz über ihn ausbreiten, damit er in meinem Garn gefangen wird, und ich werde ihn nach Babylon bringen in das Land der Chaldäer, aber auch das wird er nicht sehen; und dort wird er sterben.
And I will spread out my net over him, and he shall be caught in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon into the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, and there shall he die.
14 Und seine ganze Umgebung, seine Helfer und seine Kriegsscharen insgesamt, will ich in alle Winde zerstreuen und das Schwert hinter ihnen her zücken;
And all that are round about him, those who assist him, and all the wings of his armies will I disperse toward every wind; and the sword will I draw out after them.
15 dann werden sie erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich sie unter die Heidenvölker zerstreue und sie in die Länder versprenge.
And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.
16 Nur einige wenige von ihnen will ich vom Schwert, vom Hunger und von der Pest verschont bleiben lassen, damit sie unter den Heidenvölkern, zu denen sie kommen werden, all ihre Greuel erzählen, und auch diese erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin.‹«
But I will leave of them men few in number from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence: in order that they may relate all their abominations among the nations whither they shall have come; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
17 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
18 »Menschensohn, dein Brot sollst du mit Beben essen und dein Wasser mit Zittern und in Angst trinken
Son of man, thy bread shalt thou eat with quaking, and thy water shalt thou drink with trembling and with anxious care.
19 und sollst zum Volk des Landes sagen: ›So hat Gott der HERR in betreff der Bewohner Jerusalems im Lande Israel gesprochen: Ihr Brot sollen sie in Angst essen und ihr Wasser mit Entsetzen trinken, weil ihr Land veröden soll, seiner Fülle beraubt wegen der Gottlosigkeit aller seiner Bewohner.
And thou shalt say unto the people of the land, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] concerning the land of Israel, Their bread shall they eat with anxious care, and their water shall they drink with confusion, for the cause that her land will be desolate, deprived of its plenteousness because of the violence of all those that dwell therein.
20 Ihre Städte, die jetzt noch bewohnt sind, sollen veröden, und das Land soll zur Wüste werden, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich der HERR bin.‹«
And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid in ruins, and the land shall be made desolate: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
21 Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
22 »Menschensohn, was für eine Redensart ist da bei euch im Lande Israel im Gebrauch, daß man sagt: ›Die Zeit zieht sich Tag für Tag hin, und alle Weissagung wird hinfällig‹?
Son of man, what sort of proverb is that which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are lasting long, and lost is every vision?
23 Darum sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Ich will dieser Redensart ein Ende machen; man soll sie in Israel nicht länger im Munde führen.‹ Sage ihnen vielmehr: ›Nahe herbeigekommen ist die Zeit und die Erfüllung aller Weissagungen!
Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will cause this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but speak unto them, The days are coming nigh, and the word of every vision.
24 Denn es wird hinfort keine täuschende Weissagung und keine trügerische Prophezeiung mehr im Hause Israel geben;
For there shall be no more any false vision and a deceptive divination within the house of Israel.
25 sondern ich, der HERR, werde reden, und was ich rede, das wird auch eintreffen, und zwar ohne längeren Verzug! Ja, noch in euren Tagen, du widerspenstiges Geschlecht, werde ich einen Ausspruch tun und ihn auch zur Ausführung bringen!‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
For I am the Lord, —I do speak, and whatever word I do speak shall be done; it shall not be delayed any more; for in your days, O rebellious family, will I speak the word, and I will execute it, saith the Lord Eternal.
26 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
27 »Menschensohn, wisse wohl: die vom Hause Israel sagen: ›Die Weissagungen, welche der da infolge von Offenbarungen ausspricht, gehen auf lange Zeit hinaus, und er prophezeit auf weite Zeiträume hinaus.‹
Son of man, behold, the house of Israel say, The vision that he foreseeth is for distant days, and for times that are far off doth he prophesy.
28 Darum sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Für keines meiner Worte soll es noch längeren Verzug geben; jedes Wort, das ich ausspreche, soll sich auch erfüllen!‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
Therefore say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, There shall not be delayed any more one of all my words; but whatever word I do speak shall be done, saith the Lord Eternal.
