2 Mose 33

1 Hierauf sagte der HERR zu Mose: »Ziehe nunmehr weiter, hinweg von hier, du und das Volk, das du aus dem Land Ägypten hergeführt hast, in das Land, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob zugeschworen habe mit den Worten: ›Deinen Nachkommen will ich es geben!‹

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses go go up from here you and the people which you have brought up from [the] land of Egypt to the land which I swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob saying to offspring your I will give it.

2 Ich will aber einen Engel vor dir hersenden und die Kanaanäer, Amoriter, Hethiter, Pherissiter, Hewiter und Jebusiter vertreiben, – in ein Land, das von Milch und Honig überfließt.

And I will send before you an angel and I will drive out the Canaanite[s] the Amorite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].

3 Doch ich selbst will nicht in deiner Mitte hinaufziehen, weil du ein halsstarriges Volk bist; ich müßte dich sonst unterwegs vertilgen.«

To a land flowing of milk and honey for not I will go up in midst your for [are] a people stiff of neck you lest I should make an end of you on the journey.

4 Als das Volk diese schlimme Botschaft vernahm, wurde es betrübt, und keiner legte seinen Schmuck an;

And it heard the people the word bad this and they mourned and not they placed anyone ornament[s] his on himself.

5 denn der HERR hatte zu Mose gesagt: »Sage den Israeliten: ›Ihr seid ein halsstarriges Volk; wenn ich auch nur einen Augenblick in deiner Mitte einherzöge, müßte ich dich vertilgen. So lege denn jetzt deinen Schmuck von dir ab, dann will ich sehen, was ich für dich tun kann!‹«

And he had said Yahweh to Moses say to [the] people of Israel you [are] a people stiff of neck a moment one I will go up in midst your and I will make an end of you and therefore take down ornament[s] your from on yourself so let me consider what? will I do to you.

6 Da legten die Israeliten ihren Schmuck ab, vom Berge Horeb an.

And they stripped themselves [the] people of Israel ornament[s] their from [the] mountain of Horeb.

7 Mose aber nahm jedesmal das Zelt und schlug es für sich außerhalb des Lagers in einiger Entfernung vom Lager auf und gab ihm den Namen ›Offenbarungszelt‹. Sooft nun jemand den HERRN befragen wollte, ging er zu dem Offenbarungszelt hinaus, das außerhalb des Lagers lag.

And Moses he took the tent and he pitched it - from [the] outside of the camp at a distance from the camp and he called it [the] tent of meeting and it was any [one who] sought Yahweh he went out to [the] tent of meeting which [was] from [the] outside of the camp.

8 Sooft aber Mose zu dem Zelt hinausging, standen alle Leute auf und traten ein jeder in den Eingang seines Zeltes und blickten hinter Mose her, bis er in das Zelt eingetreten war.

And it was when went out Moses to the tent they arose all the people and they stood everyone [the] opening of tent his and they looked after Moses until went he the tent towards.

9 Sobald dann Mose in das Zelt getreten war, senkte sich die Wolkensäule herab und nahm ihren Stand am Eingang des Zeltes, solange der HERR mit Mose redete.

And it was when went Moses the tent towards it came down [the] pillar of cloud and it stood [the] opening of the tent and he spoke with Moses.

10 Wenn nun das ganze Volk die Wolkensäule am Eingang des Zeltes stehen sah, erhob sich das ganze Volk, und jeder warf sich im Eingang seines Zeltes nieder.

And it saw all the people [the] pillar of cloud standing [the] opening of the tent and it arose all the people and they bowed down everyone [the] opening of tent his.

11 Der HERR aber redete mit Mose von Angesicht zu Angesicht, wie jemand mit seinem Freunde redet. Mose kehrte dann wieder ins Lager zurück, während sein Diener Josua, der Sohn Nuns, ein junger Mann, das Innere des Zeltes nie verließ.

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses face to face just as he speaks a person to companion his and he returned to the camp and servant his Joshua [the] son of Nun a young man not he departed from [the] midst of the tent.

12 Hierauf sagte Mose zum HERRN: »Siehe, du hast mir wohl geboten, dieses Volk (nach Kanaan) hinaufzuführen, hast mich aber nicht wissen lassen, wen du mit mir senden willst; und doch hast du zu mir gesagt: ›Ich kenne dich mit Namen, und du hast auch Gnade bei mir gefunden!‹

And he said Moses to Yahweh see you [are] saying to me bring up the people this and you not you have made know me whom you will send with me and you you have said I know you by name and also you have found favor in view my.

13 Wenn ich denn wirklich Gnade bei dir gefunden habe, so laß mich doch deine Pläne wissen, damit ich dich erkenne und damit ich (inne werde, daß ich) Gnade bei dir gefunden habe! Bedenke doch auch, daß dies Volk dein Volk ist!«

And therefore if please I have found favor in view your show me please ways your so I may know you so that I may find favor in view your and consider that [is] people your the nation this.

14 Da antwortete der HERR: »Wenn ich in Person mitzöge, würde ich dir dadurch Beruhigung verschaffen?«

And he said presence my they will go and I will give rest to you.

15 Da entgegnete ihm Mose: »Wenn du nicht in Person mitziehst, so laß uns lieber nicht von hier wegziehen!

And he said to him if not presence your [is] going may not you bring up us from here.

16 Woran soll man denn sonst erkennen, daß ich samt deinem Volk Gnade bei dir gefunden habe? Doch eben daran, daß du mit uns ziehst und daß wir, ich und dein Volk, dadurch vor allen Völkern auf dem Erdboden ausgezeichnet werden.«

And how? - will it be known then that I have found favor in view your I and people your ¿ not by going you with us and we will be distinguished I and people your from every people which [is] on [the] surface of the ground.

17 Da antwortete der HERR dem Mose: »Auch diese Bitte, die du jetzt ausgesprochen, will ich dir erfüllen; denn du hast Gnade bei mir gefunden, und ich kenne dich mit Namen.«

And he said Yahweh to Moses also the thing this which you have spoken I will do for you have found favor in view my and I have known you by name.

18 Als Mose nun bat: »Laß mich doch deine Herrlichkeit schauen!«,

And he said show me please glory your.

19 antwortete der HERR: »Ich will all meine Schöne vor deinen Augen vorüberziehen lassen und will den Namen des HERRN laut vor dir ausrufen, nämlich daß ich Gnade erweise, wem ich eben gnädig bin, und Barmherzigkeit dem erzeige, dessen ich mich erbarmen will.«

And he said I I will cause to pass by all goodness my on face your and I will proclaim [the] name of Yahweh before you and I will show favor to [those] whom I will show favor and I will have compassion on [those] whom I will have compassion.

20 Dann fuhr er fort: »Mein Angesicht kannst du nicht schauen; denn kein Mensch, der mich schaut, bleibt am Leben.«

And he said not you will be able to see face my for not he will see me person and he will live.

21 Doch der HERR fuhr fort: »Siehe, es ist ein Platz neben mir: da magst du dich auf den Felsen stellen!

And he said Yahweh there! a place [is] with me and you will stand on the rock.

22 Wenn ich dann in meiner Herrlichkeit vorüberziehe, will ich dich in die Höhlung des Felsens stellen und meine Hand schirmend über dich halten, bis ich vorübergezogen bin.

And it will be when passes by glory my and I will put you in [the] cleft of the rock and I will hold palm my over you until have passed by I.

23 Habe ich dann meine Hand zurückgezogen, so wirst du meine Rückseite schauen; mein Angesicht aber kann nicht geschaut werden.«

And I will remove palm my and you will see back parts my and face my not they will be visible.
